Constance Briscoe Charged With Perverting Course of Justice

She is accused of providing Essex Police with two inaccurate statements and producing a copy of a witness statement that had been altered. Oh dear.

UPDATE: She speaks:

“I am deeply distressed at the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service to charge me today. I have not committed the offences alleged against me and I will fight the allegations in court. There is a great deal more I would like to say now but I have been advised that I should not do so at this stage. I ask only that no judgment is reached against me on the basis of this prosecution decision and before the full facts are heard.”

Nope. She’ll go the same way as her friend vicky price.

At least when it’s all over they’ll be able to sit over a plush lunch somewhere and compare notes of what prison was like.

      Dave should resign now says:

Even if she does get off of the charge, her career and reputation are finished.

They were finished earlier this year when the real stories were confirmed. This will finish her conclusively among her peer group.

Police arresting Judges is unusual, but is perhaps a trend which maybe should be encouraged for some other cases…

Then follow with a great clear out at that level and the one or two immediately below and start afresh with people who are not afraid to call a spade exactly what it is (and in the meantime tell the ECHR to get stuffulised). Let’s get our judiciary back (with some testicular fortitude attached – even for the females).

Exactly what they thought in 1914, but by 1919 three Empires had fallen (Russian, German and Ottoman) a fourth was crippled beyond hope (British) over 10million dead and I an obscure argumentative revolutionary was founding the USSR. I then exterminated the elite and created a new one.

Its not just her statements that are inaccurate. That photo is pretty misleading as well. In real life she looks like a tramp fromn under Waterloo Bridge.

I once worked with a woman who had twenty years earlier lived as a tramp at Waterloo bridge in the mid 1980s, after having a nervous breakdown and falling between the cracks. She eventually sorted herself out and when she worked with me she was a great friend and a fabulous judge of people.

She’s obviously innocent. This is yet another establishment stitch-up of an oppressed, enslaved member of the humble working class who has been led, shave-like to the whipping post by thugs, whilst the plantation owner sits on the verandah, puffing on a Cuban cigar that was rolled on an enslaved handmaiden’s arse whilst the tobacco plantation owner took his pleasure

    ad infinitum ……..

I think the whole thing is a ludicrous fuss about a very minor matter.

But if the courts get precious about MPs telling fibs they will go wild at one of their own.

God help her if she gets a judge who is inwardly seething from years of hating the sight of black and female faces in court!

Anyone know how much she is currently getting paid to do nowt?
