Fingers Pointed at Hammond for Cuts Confusion

It’s no surprise that the MOD was missing from George Osborne’s ‘nice list’ of departments behaving themselves over further cuts. Nor was it surprising to hear the Chancellor pouring water on this morning’s Telegraph story about IDS offering to serve up more cuts in order to protect Hammond’s department. Further cuts aren’t going to happen; not least in part due to the LibDems, especially in an election year. Guido is told any discussion has not happened recently. IDS may have enjoyed the Telegraph’s “not for the first time, Mr Duncan Smith has shown the way” leader, but it seems that is a far as it’s going to go. Fingers are being pointed at Hammond this morning for stirring things up. With this Telegraph leak,  suddenly last week’s manoeuvres speculation does not look quite so ridiculous…

It doesn’t matter who Murdoch chooses to replace Dave.
I’m still going to prime minister.

I should really be nicer to Rupert now. But in a secret way, like Tony and Gordon did. Otherwise my lefty shrill howlers will be bleating their little heads off.

A pajama party maybe? Or invite Guido over for coffee and muffins?

We should tax all rich people at 100% like comrade hollande of France does.

This would mean we could spend loads of money making this country a socialist paradise like north korea.

    Dave should resign now says:

Hammond to oust Dave ? Would be an improvement.

Would not change anything, unless he called a referendum and dropped the windmills, gay marriage and other b/s non-mandated policies that some are fixated on at present.

Could Nigel deal with Hammond ?

      1. I think a lot of old; out of touch Conservatives do not understand Mathematics and the power of acceleration. The local election results have shone a light and showed what voting for UKIP can achieve. Like it or not they are becoming unstoppable accelerating force. Times have now changed and will not change back. Cameron was not even a yesterday’s man. The Country needs a strong leader as PM that will unite the majority view. I don’t think it is Farrage, who would however be an invaluable Minister in any government. Cameron must go now and make way for a leader who can be respected by both Tories and UKIP and build a bridge.Possibly, could that be Hammond. I persnally would prefer Gove.

Thatcher started the ball rolling with her private talks with Unum.Blair continued and charged them with the overall Welfare System. The years of talks were crucial to the Governments for them to construct the Welfare Bill .Unum is behind ATOS basically an IT company .They are also involved in NHS changes .Mutterings recently about limiting Doctors visits to three per year is the start to force the General Public to take out Private Medical Insurance .UNUM is the World’s biggest Disability Insurer .They are Banned in several states in America as not fit for purpose described as such by US Insurance Commissioners .So successive Governments have colluded with an outlawed Company to take charge of our Benefits System, the NHS and NEST the new Pensions Scheme .Fascist Smith is being led by UNUM for his enhancement and our detriment .Where is the Law of the Land.

echoes here from c35 years ago – mrs t in general election vs callaghan – advocating cuts in pubic spending yet more spending on police & military

despite burning off north sea gas reserves to maximise oil tax revenues, and despite privatisation, the strucurtal government deficit wasn’t eliminated and may now be worse

it’s credit (sic) all round – but don’t exclude the voters – they are getting what they wanted
