At last a reprieve from their financial woes for archaic socialist rag the Morning Star. Unite union fat cat Len McCluskey has told local branches to order copies of the paper in bulk to try to keep it afloat, sending them standing order forms and asking them to buy shares in the co-op that owns it:

“The Morning Star is an invaluable weapon that supports the trade union movement and one that I would like all activists in the Union to read. That is why I am asking you to get your Unite branch to place a local order for at least one copy of the Morning Star daily.”

Maybe ditching the Marxist rants would be a more sustainable business model…
