Hacked Off Donors: #3 City Tycoon Shagger Arpad Busson

A hedge fund plutocrat with a taste for super-model girlfriends? Donate to Hacked Off and stay out of the gossip columns. Well that is what Arpad Busson will be hoping. The financier ex of both Uma Thurman and Elle Macphereson threw money at Hacked Off. It’s an élite club – by Guido’s maths the net worth of just six donors to Hacked Off is over £1 billion. Remember that when they pretend to be on the side of powerless.

An odd thing to do. Wouldn’t a cheque or wire transfer have been simpler?

      Odd innit?

In other circumstances Labour (the working man’s person’s party) would not touch a pressure group funded by the rich elite of society.

    Not a lawyer but says:

Politicians should read Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Before they vote in favour of any Press law:

    Article 19.
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

Journalists now just need to write I believe in front of anything they write and the press law will have no bearing.

Anyone else see Chukky on Sky earlier chuntering on about how the country has a dire need of engineers, and employers are complaining that potential employees are utterly useless because of their low standards of “qualification”?

Regrettably he forgot to mention that it was his party that f**ked up the perfectly good education system that once obtained in this country and that there was a regular supply of well educated, literate and numerate would-be engineering graduates all ready and waiting to go.

He must be suffering from Vincely Amnesia Syndrome – easily caught in Nigerian banks I’m told.

Its simple fucknuts. Like the US government in wikileaks case, these celebs behind Hacked Off have something to hide. The loudest voices are theirs, not the McCanns, Dowlers etc. If you’re “Celeb” suck down on it. Builders can’t sue their employers their arthritis, it comes with the territory – tough shit. Don’t knw what the hell Leveson was all about – hacking voicemails etc was illegal – use the existing law and prosecute – hey presto. Legislation, inquiries etc wasn’t needed.

Hugh Grant. What a twat. He’s knobbed hookers, co-stars, Jemima Khan and probably hootered a load of coke and god knows what else – I don’t care but it sells Sunday papers and he complains about it getting reported. Don’t complain about fickle attention when you work in a fickle industry. Oh and I hate all your films – they’re all shit.

“I would love to be part of Ed’s Labour government but what I do next for me is not an all-consuming passion. I’m more bothered, in a personal sense, about getting to grade 8 piano by the time I’m 50.”
