Can we extradite Mr Morgan?
An application may be appropriate as there is likely enough evidence for the CPS to proceed with a perjury case at the least against Moron. The track record for successful extraditions from US to anywhere is not good. It is a very asymmetric system.
Ke!ser has likely affirmed affidavits on his claims above and may well have witnesses and evidence to support his claims. One hopes that he has passed any supporting information over to Op Weeting, however, the revelations of the ‘insider’ more than likely support what he is claiming.
If the extradition is a no go, a warrant can be issued such that Piers is picked up next time he returns to Europe. His application for US citizenship should be compromised enough now to guarantee that he will be unable to gain citizenship there.

‘Too big to jail’ is more relevant than ‘Too big to fail’, and the fear of collapse is total rubbish. If politicians and officials were not on the take, then if enforcement did result in a major failure, then government could just step in and stabilize.
This has actually happened with the socialization of private bank debts since 2007. However, the bribery aspect has not be rectified.
The repair of this problem is not going to be clean or pretty, but needs to happen.
That will not happen though until the corrupt officials in public office are more concerned about their own mortality at the hands of the public, than they are about the kick backs from the banks.

The thought of someone fingering Piers Morgan with their bare hands is quite appalling.
Although he ought to get used to idea when he finds himself in the Scrubs for several years.
I don’t believe the twisted web of lies from Ms Weaver but I do Max Kaiser on this one. He says she accused (sorry US-English: fingered) PM (by which I don’t mean the PM but the wannabe) of knowing all about hacking and colluding with their sister publications (possibly each other in rival tabloids too) in having a sort of pressure-blackmail on powerful figures, who they had hacked to get to the truth, all in the pursuit of a great headlines. I expect Ms Weaver’s and Morgan’s conversations are all deleted, or whatever they did say about hacking was possibly over a few glasses of wine. We demand full disclosure. And honest revenge. A la Vicky Pryce cos in this instance you know one of them is far more guilty than the other, and there has to be a Queen’s evidence defence available.

So if I have got this right this guy, who I have never even heard of before, is to be believed, he first knew of this criminal activity in 2003 and has done nothing until now about exposing it .
He has sat through the whole of Leveson and not squawked at all .
