    Rewriting History says:

In 2015 Parliament passed legislation granting the Labour Government of Blair and Brown immunity from prosecution or blame for their actions during the time they were in government and it was confirmed that everything that happened during that period was the fault of the Tory Opposition. An unnamed source said “It is now fully accepted by the public that had the Tory Party been a more effective Opposition during that period that the deficit would never have happened”. He also added that” it was also the case that had the Tories not voted the way they did on 2 March 2003 but instead supported the principled stance of the LibDems(Labour’s Coalition partner) then the Iraq War would not have happened given the dubious and weak evidence presented to Parliament at the time.” In conclusion he added “Once again the Tories have been found out to be on the side of the rich bankers and press barons ! Only the Labour Party supports the hard working families of this One Nation”

  31. 31
Jimmy's Rightie Quote Of The Day says:

“Without a free Press, we will suffer ever more suffocating bureaucracy and more undiscovered corruption in our public life. Think of the Hillsborough cover-up..”

Bubba fingered Huhne. First Bubba finger Huhne with finger. Then Bubba finger Huhne with whole fist. As far a Bubba’s elbow. Huhne squeal with joy.

  48. 48
    Casual Observer says:

An application may be appropriate as there is likely enough evidence for the CPS to proceed with a perjury case at the least against Moron. The track record for successful extraditions from US to anywhere is not good. It is a very asymmetric system.

Ke!ser has likely affirmed affidavits on his claims above and may well have witnesses and evidence to support his claims. One hopes that he has passed any supporting information over to Op Weeting, however, the revelations of the ‘insider’ more than likely support what he is claiming.

If the extradition is a no go, a warrant can be issued such that Piers is picked up next time he returns to Europe. His application for US citizenship should be compromised enough now to guarantee that he will be unable to gain citizenship there.

  49. 49
The man at the back with the awful jumper - yes you sir says:

The thought of someone fingering Piers Morgan with their bare hands is quite appalling.

Although he ought to get used to idea when he finds himself in the Scrubs for several years.

  50. 50
    Tosspot says:

I do hope he washed his hands. afterwards….

  51. 51
    Casual Observer says:

The 12% cost of business is true, hilarious, and shameful as well.

Parallels all the way back to the S+L crisis are evident here.

‘Too big to jail’ is more relevant than ‘Too big to fail’, and the fear of collapse is total rubbish. If politicians and officials were not on the take, then if enforcement did result in a major failure, then government could just step in and stabilize.

This has actually happened with the socialization of private bank debts since 2007. However, the bribery aspect has not be rectified.

The repair of this problem is not going to be clean or pretty, but needs to happen.

That will not happen though until the corrupt officials in public office are more concerned about their own mortality at the hands of the public, than they are about the kick backs from the banks.

  52. 52
    Point of Information says:

    What audience ?

  53. 53

Think major scandal / cover-ups coming undone now from the period 1998 through 2004. Lots too choose from.

  54. 54
    Casual Observer says:

He has sat through the whole of Leveson and not squawked at all .

I find this all very alarming.

  64. 64

Excellent, especially the ironical Doubtless there is an innocent explanation for all of this at the end!

  65. 65
    hold them to ac says:

I don’t believe the twisted web of lies from Ms Weaver but I do Max Kaiser on this one. He says she accused (sorry US-English: fingered) PM (by which I don’t mean the PM but the wannabe) of knowing all about hacking and colluding with their sister publications (possibly each other in rival tabloids too) in having a sort of pressure-blackmail on powerful figures, who they had hacked to get to the truth, all in the pursuit of a great headlines. I expect Ms Weaver’s and Morgan’s conversations are all deleted, or whatever they did say about hacking was possibly over a few glasses of wine. We demand full disclosure. And honest revenge. A la Vicky Pryce cos in this instance you know one of them is far more guilty than the other, and there has to be a Queen’s evidence defence available.

  66. 66
    Wyatt Bell says:

Arguably better than the other way around…

  67. 67
    Bewildebeest says:

………….and yet Guido, you still want these people to regulate themselves. Please justify ?

  68. 68

fabvorite moment of this video was
when the puff of smoke was seen to left of frame

  69. 69
    Peter Carter-Fuck says:

Piers, I need to zero in my new telescopic sight. Be a good fellow and stand about 200 yards away would you?

  70. 70
    Tom Catesby says:

Boris on British Jihadis. Apparently based on MI5 intel:

“If you look at all the psychological profiling about bombers, they typically will look at porn. They are literally w***ers. Severe onanists. They are tortured. They will be very badly adjusted in their relations with women, and that is a symptom of their feeling of being failures and that the world is against them. They are not making it with girls, and so they turn to other forms of spiritual comfort — which of course is no comfort.”
