Tory MP Calls For Thompson Answers

As this afternoon’s tape piles the pressure on Mark Thompson, Tory MP Rob Wilson tells Guido:

“Mark Thompson’s story has changed on several occasions since he first wrote to me saying he knew nothing about the Jimmy Savile allegations. The Pollard Review accepted his account. This recording and the Helen Boaden solicitor’s letter to the BBC cast a dark cloud over Thompson’s version of events. Pollard and the BBC must now reveal all the evidence as I have requested in my recent letters to them. Both the integrity of the enquiry and the BBC is at stake as is the reputation of Mark Thompson.”

This one will run…

Anyone who still timidly pays the license ‘fee’ has no right to complain. If just one person in five had the courage to refuse, this corrupt organisation would be finished – and no repercussions for the dissident non-payers.

She’s a paid Labour Party activist (Amy Rutland), and she even tweeted that she was chatting to Stephen Twigg just prior to the program.

If nothing else, she should have declared her vested interest as Regional Organiser for Labour in Margate.

It’s been an open secret that the BBC load the audience with Labourites, and now it’s plain for all to see.

Where are Tony Blair's expenses says:

And Dimbleby picked her out to ask a question just by chance – yeah right.

      Melanie Philips just brilliant.

Where do the left get these ugly trolls from; does anybody know about her background has she ever had a job

Richard Littlejohn has stopped going on QT because of the audiencxe makeup, a couple of years ago he went on a program from Stevenage where the audience was 50/50 white / ethinic minorities with predictable responses. When he researched the population of Stevenage after the show it was 87/13 white/ ethnic minorities.

The program and Dimbleby should have been put after Jeremy Kyle and before Oprah after the 9/11 show that was an absolute disgrace. His father woudl turn in his grave.

        Blowing Whistles says:

Littlejohn – has ripped into Lordy Sugar in the Mail today. Littlejohn has enough skeletons of his own in his own ‘Sun’ cupboard – but at last even he is starting to learn some things which for decades he has overlooked – for the Murdoch coin that is.

Where are Tony Blair's expenses says:

If the Tory PR machine had any brains they would use the clip of the troll in all their campaign material in the North West, North East and Midlands so all the labour voters on low wages and without a job can see that labour still want an open door policy on immigration.

I am sure the proverbial Bob the Builder will be delighted that Labour want to let in more immigrants.

      • 44
        BBC nonce protectors says:

But the Tories want an open door policy on immigration as well. Only last week Dickhead Dave was encouraging unlimited numbers of Indians to come here.

We are in a lethal situation where mass immigration serves a cartel of vested interests spanning the political spectrum.

It was publicly stated that the BBC ‘sought advice’ from an outside firm of lawyers about the redacting of so much material. How much was ‘bunged to the firm’? who are the firm? and were there any conflicts of interest uncovered re due diligence.

I hope it wasn’t the Bircham Dyson Bellenders again.

Tom Harris bemoans the public’s attitude to politicians…

“Mr Oborne echoes the lazy, anti-politics whine we hear so often these days, all based on the absurd notion that politicians were once loved and only fell out of public favour during the expenses scandal. He should take a walk to the Strangers’ Bar. But not to sup with the patrons he seems to despise so much, dearie me, no; he should instead look at the paintings on the corridor outside the bar, which depict the devastating fire which consumed most of the Palace in 1834. And he should reflect on the fact that on that dramatic night, as the Commons went up in flames, a crowd gathered on the South Bank to clap and cheer.”

Focus group time. says:

The thing that Dave needs to work out is which group is more likely to vote Conservative. Mad swivel-eyed loons or mad homosexuals wishing to get married.
