BREAKING: Vicky Pryce Guilty

Vicky Pryce has been found guilty of perverting the course of justice. A unanimous verdict after 12 hours deliberations. Sentencing of Pryce and Huhne will be at a later date. Let’s hope the judge takes into consideration that all this would never have come out if it were not for Vicky…

I was thinking of being polite, staying quiet, being mature, respectful and respectable.. but what the fuck: she is one fuck-ugly minger! One thing’s for sure; the branches of the Ugly Tree took one hell of a bashing as she hit each one of them on the way down. I think she must have got to her feet and climbed back to the top and then fallen out of it all over again. Probably several times.

Maybe we were being a bit harsh on Chris Huhne, looking at her it is obvious he is seriously visually impaired, he’d have only got a caution if he’d admitted to driving the car and said he couldn’t see his speedometer. But he’s still a complete bastard and should be punished to the full extent of the law.

The problem is after New Labour’s edukayshun edukayshun edukayshun that a randomly picked jury will likely include the professionally unemployed, those indoctrinated with “diversity” and “equality”, those infected by feminism and illiteracy. It’s very hard for an ill educated society to have jury trial and we need to start having a over-30s only rule and bring back the property owning rules or perhaps insist that those performing jury duty have a job.

The over-30 rule is a good idea. I would use the slightly more restrictive “born before 1973″ rule. Anyone who was born in the UK after 1972 and had a UK state education has, essentially, been shafted.

Did anyone make/find make a video of Gordon Brown being humiliated in parliament in Guido’s earlier post? I can’t find one on youtube and sounds good. I’m referring to Defence minister Andrew Robathan:

“I will explain why we dispute much of what the right hon. Gentleman has said in a moment, but there is one thing that I particularly dispute. I know that when he was Prime Minister, and indeed when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer, he was very profligate with public money.

He was very willing to spend it, and then to leave us in the appalling financial condition in which we now find ourselves. I must tell the right hon. Gentleman that we take a rather more parsimonious and sensible view than I think he did when it comes to the spending of our constituents’ money… In closing, may I say how pleased I am to see the right hon. Gentleman in the House?”

But how many were first time offenders? A high proportion of those arrested already had form, which is one reason why so many of them went straight to remand pending trial at a Crown Court. But of course, you didn’t read about that in the Guardian

Finally. Enough dough has been wasted on these two – well I can’t think of a suitably disgusting word. Maybe we can all move on from it now.

She had every right to be pissed off and he is a smug self obsessed twat – couldn’t she just have taken him to the cleaners in the divorce settlement and leaked some sexual dirt to the papers and still stayed aloof from it all?

rumpole of the bailey makes a point re proceeds of crime which wont stick in this case but I am baffled as to why all the fraud MPs including Moran were not forced to pay proceeds of crime. Both the Lords taylor and the other one
from essex had to pay. taylor was hit with a huge claim of over half a million.
Any legals out there explain how the MPs escaped as no ordinary punter
would. still not too late in Morans case

Obviously one has to be pleased that the wrongful attempt to avoid the law, albeit over a relatively minor matter, has been outed. The manner and motivation by which it has come to light, however, has been ugly and mean of spirit. I regret I share Vince Cables’ view that once heard, best immediately forgotten. I have felt the same about most things for the last thirty years.

Attemting to pervert the course of justice is not a ‘minor matter’.A person found guilty of such an offence can go to jail for a long time, altough these two will probably be dealt with rather lightly.

Agreed. It was the speeding to which I was referring – not the subsequent offence / s.

She should have gone to police and squared it up with them before she went to tabloids. Her involvement in the tabloids and her mixed up information went against her, I think.

In her first court case she played the coercion card quite well. I thought she may have got off with it. But in second round it seemed to go against her.
It is her first offence, she will probably get community service.
