David Ward: Four Yellow Cards, No Red

David Ward’s campaign to have the whip removed is in full flow. A particularly exasperated source in LibDem HQ tells Guido that Ward is “more stupid than I had realised”, and that “if David has a problem with what was agreed, he knows how to get in touch with the Whips office. It’s clear he is saying different things in private to what he is saying in public. It’s very disappointing that he seems to be refusing to acknowledge his mistake”.

A party spokesman merely says that yesterday’s comments “will form part of the ongoing process” looking at his conduct. Not like the LibDems to avoid a difficult subject…

At least there is one Liberal left in parliament – someone who isn’t prepared to be forcibly ‘re-eductated’ by the Whips office.

Unless you use the right words and think in the right way you are clearly out of the Lib Dems…

Quite so. The trouble is you never know how many of “those people” are amongst the whips. It would be better if thy were made to reveal their identity in public. Some sort of insignia.

I was thinking maybe a cloth yellow star?

I’d say that people are too yellow to criticise these Loons.
The problem is getting quite serious though if they undermine democracy to this extent.

When they tell you not to “name names” you know you are lost. They do it as though it is the advice from a caring neighbour, but they are actually the corrupt ones.

It is the unwritten rule of the public sector. All those that name names will be attacked. By direct threats, by being overtly followed, by encouraging others to photograph your every movement. Once an enemy of their world everything is done to remove you from their realm.

    What Justice, Lord Neuberger.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21665319

Unless you are injured as part of a larger group of similar people you have not got a hope of justice.

“Lord Neuberger said another problem would be the increase in the number of people who represent themselves in court because they could not afford or get legal aid for a lawyer, “This will mean that court hearings will last longer, the burden on court staff and judges will increase,” he said.”

Actually it means the judge refuse to hear the case, and further uses the threats by the defendant to force the case to never be heard. In their own interest the judge covers up the failures and allows the defendant freedom to kill and injure again.

When the full information is provided to the top judges about the corruption, they ignore the issue. Hear no evil etc… There is NO justice in this country already.

It has nothing to do with legal aid. It it down to the corruption of the judges. The legal aid bill is just a symptom of the stupidity, limitless financial nature, and closed minded system.

Why would a judge threaten a claimant with financial ruin? His attitude was clear, no justice was allowed for that person.

If a company wanted tenders for a contract, would they sign up to pay unlimited fees from all tendering subcontractors, to find the right supplier. So much so that their bill for the tendering process was 10x the actual contract work price. No, that would be stupid. Yet that is exactly what our legal system is. Further, all subcontractor have to turn up with a person that was a member of the same trade body of the main company to even get an audience. The same trade body that has no experience in the issues and has no way to find anyone with experience.

If there was justice in this country we would not have to wait until multiple deaths. The court system would be available for stopping deadly systems, like those we all knew about in the NHS. The NHS incident proves their is no effective or timely justice in the UK.

Jimmy's Rightie Quote Of The Day says:

“The idea for UKIP is that, once we’ve stopped the EU, we’ll be very tight on other people as well. My personal opinion is that we should have ID cards. There are two million illegal people in this country. Britain gets them, takes them to the police station and, if they haven’t got a passport, they let them go. What they should do is build not prisons, but holding centres, and lock them up. You’d need one or two in every city. Later in time, they could turn them in to prisons.”
