    What? like Cherie Booth?
B£iar only stuck us with the human rights act to provide work for his wife.

Human rights lawyer? What a depressing use of a supposedly decent education.

Just remember anyone working for the state; ie solicitors in local government are by definition no good enough to hack it in the real world. Like wise any councillor or MP dependant on their allowances or salary should not be offering themselves for public service. Parasites every one!

I think Clarke is being the voice of reason in the Tory party.

There’s noting anti-Tory in defending the HRA.

The voice of Treason – to be precise. One day you just might work it out.

Don’t know about the Tory Party, but then did the Voice of Reason ever have a place on this site?

Anony whoeveryouare – Go and read up about Treason and the current crop of our MP’s who have committed it and continue to deny it … you just might have your eyes opened – but only if you can think for yourself without having some pitiful tribal political leaning?

          • It's The Same Old Song says:

How many people on this site hate: paying tax, Health & Safety rules, Human Rights, the Chavs, Public Services, the unemployed, the poor, the Left-Wing…? Now That’s What I Call Pitiful Tribal Leanings.

The real question is why the bosses/right wing Tories keep attacking, not just Heath & Safety, but Human Rights? Maybe they want to retain their forced, wage-free, labour?

Ed Balls stretches credulity by claiming he isn’t ambitious

“I would love to be part of Ed’s Labour government but what I do next for me is not an all-consuming passion. I’m more bothered, in a personal sense, about getting to grade 8 piano by the time I’m 50.”
