All that could be deduced from this is that perhaps reading newspapers gave H!mmler the idea.
That the same numbers and circumstances appear in these stories, as well as describing events as a catastrophe also occurred does not prove or disprove anything of events which were documented to have taken place once the allies beat Germany.

I’ve got a great PR wheeze. I’ll describe true Conservative policies as a “lurch to the right” so that I can look brave and steadfast by not following them and staying on the “centre ground”. Then I can follow Nick’s policies of foreign aid, wind farms and gay marriage. Sometimes I’m so clever I surprise myself.
Sorting our deficit is easy.
If our government had used the QE money call it £200 billion to:-
1. Invest in the real economy, perhaps focusing on strategic issues like enabling a country wide water distribution service so that we did not have floods, full resorvoirs and droughts in different parts of the country at the same time, or in high tech industries, or even dare I suggest domestic food security or manufacturing (do we have any of that left?).
2. This would have kickstarted the real economy.
3. Jobs would be created.
4. Corporate and income taxes would be paid.
5. VAt etc would be paid through the increased speding of those in work.
6. The welfare bill would have fallen from those in work.
7. The deficit would be reducing.
8. Things might be beginning to look better by now.
Alternatively the government could have used the QE money to pay all debt and interest thereon for a few years enabling a natutally balanced budget from which cuts would be unnecessary/better controlled/jobs and the eocnomy could have been revived form.
Its not rocket science.
QE is debasement of the currency. This used to be classed as treason.
From a saver’s point of view, it still is.
