Andrew Pierce on Ed Balls…
“Porky Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls sweet-talked guests at a fund-raising dinner by saying if he wasn’t a politician, he would be a chef. That’s not surprising, since he was accused of cooking the Treasury books when he was Gordon Brown’s boot boy.”

Classic Boris – and as usual he’s not wrong!
Hello, Boris
Typical, Tory quote of the day is from yesterday.
Right wing feckwits, always behind the times.
Those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat all the mistakes!
Elegantly put and bang on.
I think we’ve got a very clear message, a loud and clear message that Britain cannot let up in dealing with its debts, dealing with its problems, cannot let up in making sure that Britain can pay its way in the world.
Outwitting Eurocrats is not exactly difficult, but this time they’re not even trying…
As always, Boris hits the nail on the head.
Don’t you feel sorry for the hard-done-by Bankers? The way they have helped the country – Boris should make sure they are paid double.
I understand that there’s a clause in the EUSSR treaty of mein kampf that forbids eurocraps from interface in an individuals pay and renumeration. Article 133 I believe, but not 100% on this.
Since the banks have done more then the EU to under-mine the country, why do the people (that claim to put the interests of British people first) want to protect the Bankers?
How I stop worrying and learned to love the Bankers.
