An Unto-Ward Punishment

Clegg met with David “The Jews” Ward last night, telling him he has to go and work with LibDem Friends of Israel to “achieve a better understanding” of the situation. With other things on their mind they are kicking it into the long grass, but his punishment, though slight, is quite amusing…

Pretty desperate. Especially considering the PMQs today on issue of support of terrorism. Not that Ed needed to condemn there, it would have been more politically expedient that sticking a knife in the back of the Statesman.

D!ane Jam3s has been UKIP member for a while, according to her register of interests.

Out of all, she has demonstrated the best understanding of the local issues, which is important. She seems to be in tune with the people on immigration as well.

Lib Dems have this sort of problem to overcome, difficult the day before:

Too right Michael….. Diane James comes over as far and away the best candidate on the Hustings. – and UKIP as having the only real and relevant Manifesto for this stage of the Parliament. Looking further ahead – a win here for UKIP (and a further sweep of votes in next year’s Euro Elections) will greatly strengthen David Cameron’s hand when/if he comes to renegotiate the terms of ‘Britain’s continued membership’. Europe and the Europhiles will see that Britain really means it.

Is being a member of “(insert party) Friends of Israel” a prerequisites to succeed in UK politics?

Despite being EU and UK policy, criticism of illegal settlement activity is muted.
Israel gets preferential trade agreements instead. Israel is now looking for oil in the Syrian Golan Heights and the great peace envoy, T. Blair managed to scupper Gaza getting its gas to Egypt (while Israel pumps away at the same resource from a few km to the East).

  27. 41

PS: Where else do “Palestinians” live other than in Gaza or the West Bank?
