Diane Abbott's £300 Obesity Bill mdi-fullscreen

You cannot help but laugh at this one. KFC-hating fatty food banner Diane Abbott has been paid £300 to give a speech at the National Obesity Forum annual conference. During her speech she said that the government “places too much emphasis on personal responsibility, without acknowledging that many people do not have the social capital or skills to tackle their own obesity”.

The poor are too stupid to look after themselves, eh Diane? Quite why a Shadow Health Minister is charging money to give speeches on, er, health Guido can’t quite work out. Surely she should do it for free…
