In Israel, women have the same rights as men: there is no gender apartheid. Gay men and women face no restrictions, and Palestinian gays often escape into Israel, knowing they may be killed at home.
Irony is just now the Arab League actively encouraged Israeli Arabs to get out there and vote which is more than most Arabs can do in their own countries….

Why are the politicians so afraid of criticising the Israeli/Jews?
Illegal settlements are illegal…
And twats use the term ‘illegal’ to mean “decided by murderers, thieves and lawyers and having no relationship to ethics”.
They’re afraid to criticise precisely because of the reaction that David Ward got, and, to me, that reaction only proves the very point that he was making in the first place.
A bully is a bully.
I don’t care what religion you are or what country you live in or what race you are, if you’re doing something wrong then other people have the right to criticise what you’re doing.
So, I say bollocks to being bullied into submission and not being able to ever criticise someone purely because they themselves had been bullied once.
I defend David Ward’s right to criticise something that he sees as being very very wrong, in the same way that I’d also defend an Israeli who doesn’t want a rocket launched on his children.
Both sides are “doing wrong”, and both sides need to be criticised.
Equally, both sides need to have their point of view heard and considered.
What needs to happen is that the UN and/or NATO need to adopt a calm, cool, considered, and reasonable approach, then get the leaders of both sides in a room, and tell them how it’s going to be, and then they need to enforce that decision no matter what.
The message to the Israelis should be:
Stop stealing their fucking land, give back the land you recently stole, and stop trying to turn their own land into a warsaw-style ghetto.
The message to the Palestinians should be:
Stop firing rockets and sending suicide bombers into Isreal.
Once that message has been sent to both sides, it then needs to be enforced on both sides by the international community with the same steely determination that the UK adopted in the Falklands conflict.
That is the ONLY solution, nothing else will ever work.
There will be a world wide moratorium based on new evidence that will look properly at what lies have been told by all since WWII – The moratorium will be held not by politicians or judges – who CANNOT be trusted to speak the truth for their decade upon decade of lies and deceptions.
It will be a peoples (a Public) moratorium and the politicians and legals and their monied lobbying parasitic funders are not invited either.

Leaving aside the insidious “you’re not allowed to ever criticise Israel” argument, or the “you’re never allowed to learn lessons from the holocaust APART FROM when it relates to current jewish/israeli persecution” argument, both of which I simply piss all over and then spit on because they go against every aspect of freedom, justice, liberty, and basic humanity that any decent person would like to defend, your main argument seems to be that he used the words “The Jews” and was therefore being racist.
He could hardly have said that “Israelis suffered…” could he? Israel didn’t even exist back then, it was Jews that were persecuted during the holocaust.
And, if your defence then becomes “it’s the state of Israel that are persecuting the Palestinians, not “The Jews”", then I’d say you’re just playing with semantics. Are you saying that the Israeli state leaders aren’t Jewish? Or are you saying that it’s ok for the Israeli state to commit atrocities against the indiginous population on the grounds that God gave them the land and so they’re allowed to do whatever the fuck they want to the population and steal all their land?

To the propritor the articles title is silly, je june and misleading. To deamonise what is clearly a valid oppinion as some kind of anti samitic heracy only causes division and stiffels debate.
