Kev and Denis: Better Off Out

Poor old Kevin Maguire. You know how it is; put a good word in for a disgraced mate, after all, what harm could come from bigging them up despite the fact they were forced out of Parliament for their thieving ways? Bit too risky for the Mirror so pop a kind word in the Staggers, hardly anyone will see it there anyway. Poor old Denis, he deserves a pat on the back. Et cetera:

“Britain’s nascent Eurofan fightback against the Europhobes is tussling with how to utilise Denis MacShane, a former MP who many on both sides of the Commons feel was treated roughly when forced to quit Rotherham. It was MacEurope, a walking encyclopaedia on all things EU, who spotted instantly that Cameron’s double-Dutch big speech on 22 January would upset Monsieur Hollande and Frau Merkel by clashing with the 50th-anniversary celebrations in Berlin of a Franco- German Élysée treaty. Denis the Menace has baggage but few will be as combative or as skilled in the trench warfare ahead.”

Presumably Kevin filed this before the police relaunched their fraud investigation into MacShane yesterday.

“Baggage” is one way of describing it.

He will be super-useful coordinating the great EU-fight back from a cell.

Sure you have, H*rry. It must be quite easy to kill Taliban when you’re put on active duty guarding some trees, surrounded by your personal security detail.

Instead if backing a disgraced former MP, why doesn’t Maguire spend his time fighting for the rights of hacks to do their jobs properly without state interference?

Kevin would be one of the Stormtroopes of the new EU Media Kommisariat.

Silencing all dissent o the EU is important work for Toilets et al – the trench warfare to come will be just that to them.

      Vote UKIP.

Maguire, Hacked Off advisor Alistair Campbell and campaigners like Shami Chakrabarti would have been the first to man the barricades if Thatcher had announced plans for press regulation in the 80′s.

I honestly don’t know how they can live with themselves.

I am ex-Labour – disgusted by the way I as a working class British man as been treated by them. MacShane will face jusstice – but how many more in Labour are rubbing the working classes nose in it?

Its not just ex-Tories in UKIP and I wish that was reflected in the MSN.

Of course, the US Justice Department promised Charles Luciano to commute his sentence and voluntarily expatriate to Italy, if he assisted the War Department and guaranteed no Mob-controlled dockworkers’ union strikes, and would use his Sicilian connections, such as they were post-Mussolini, to help Montgomery and Patton. Maguire was also trying to paint Farage as a racist today for not wanting to flood the country with more East Europeans.

Bless him and his comedy northerner accent. I think he sees himself as the next Alastair Campbell but Campbell wouldn’t have touched MacShame with a bargepole or positined himself on the side of something so vastly unpopular outside of the chattering classes.

I am taking this YouGov Poll with a very large andidate Selections leave much to desire; picking candidates, who WILL answer in known manners! (They don’t like contrary answers!)

The other problem is the CONTENT OF THEIR QUESTIONS!

All mass polls can be skewed by inappropriate question phrases………. and often are!………… The fact is that, asking the bald question: “In or Out? regularly throw up around 87% in favour of “Out”!

While these “simple polls” are not scientific and can be the province of anti’s, the fact is that they appear with amazing regularity, in various Press Polls and have done for some years.

Cathy Jamieson MP, Labour’s Shadow Treasury minister, commenting on Treasury analysis of the economic impact of tax changes…

“If the Treasury is looking at the economic impact of tax changes, then surely it should examine the impact of the rise in VAT and cuts to tax credits? George Osborne’s £12 billion VAT rise knocked confidence, helped to choke off the recovery and has cost families £1,350 over the last three years.”
