Exclusive: Tory Online Campaign in Marginal Constituencies
Highlights “Hardworking Families v People Who Won’t Work”

Have Your SayEd Miliband’s key political strategy adviser Greg Beales told the last National Executive Committee meeting that their private polling showed that the biggest doubts the public has about the Labour Party were over immigration, spending too much and being soft on benefit cheats. This chimes with George Osborne’s strategic dividing line on welfare reform, where Ed Miliband and Ed Balls appear to be happy to be on the opposing side of the argument to the public. The Tories are going to relentlessly exploit this strategic weakness.

On Wednesday at PMQs Miliband went on the attack on welfare and then LabourList revealed on Thursday that the Labour Party was planning an online campaign in 60 key marginal seats. CCHQ was alerted and Grant Shapps ordered a rapid pre-buttal campaign in the same 60 marginal seats. Within 24 hours local newspapers in places like Watford, Thurrock and Blackpool North were flooded with hundreds of thousands of online adverts. Labour candidates looking at the news on their local newspaper websites this morning will be horrified to see CCHQ spending money to support incumbent Tory MPs two years ahead of the general election. It is going to be a long campaign…

CCHQ must be run by a group of half wits; Cameron cannot win the next election unless

    * The postal vote system is changed ( A judge in Birmingham once said ” the system is so corrupt a banana republic would be proud of it)
    * Boundary changes are implemented to get rid of all the labour rotten boroughs
    * The UKIP vote is in the 2-4 % range

All of these he has failed to do; the best thing we can hope for at the next election is that Clegg and the rest of his sixth form debaters that pass for a political party get wiped off the politcal map.

25 million people work in the private sector, how is Cameron going to get the majority of them to vote for him.

Sadly in the UK as in all liberal democracies there are more voters than tax payers and its very easy to vote for spending other people’s money

Thing is that despite the test she can’t steer the boat let alone reverse it and mate has to do all that for her. Her presence is however required because she has the bit of paper.

    Three modest propsals:

    1. ‘GDP’ to be based on the production of goods and services rather than on consumption. At present, if I borrow money from a Spanish bank to buy a German car, it is mistaken for some kind of boost to the UK economy.

    2. Nobody should both pay money to, and take money from public funds. This should end the absurdity of taxpayers voting for higher benefit payments, except, of course, on grounds of conscience.

    3. All Government liabilities to be recognised as such, including pension promises and PFI.

These propsals would increase honesty and rigour and help solve the crisis in governance that afflicts Western nations.

So exactly who is included in the ‘do not work’ – it could be you or me, pensioners unemployed, students or genuinely sick – Yes, are we not all sick of this repeated non-recovery and wrecking of our country to render it dependent on the EU e.g. military agreement with France. . .

I would suggest the real ones who are not working are the politicians who would like to be seen running the country, for the good of the country and everyone in it – but are doing exactly anything but – where’s the liverpool pathway for them and their deceitful kind! The taxpayer bailed out the banks and now the Gov.t has bankrupt itself, it expects the taxpayer to bail it out. . .Time for the Icelandic model and for debt forgiveness; after all how is money created – it is created from nothing (search fractional reserve banking). Iceland are recovering and we are not.

You may remember back to when Nissan built their factory there and had TV adverts which proudly advertised the fact.

Nissan, now with added Sun all said in the local dialect – very lighthearted and fun. I was in on the thinking behind this decision and it was done this way to get those who would not have previously bought foreign produced cars to think again about the marque as they were now made at home. So with very good intentions and prospects for the local and UK economy, as well as for Nissan obviously.

They had so many complaints that they actually had to withdraw the adverts! So the very company which had brought all those jobs to the north-east were made to feel in the wrong. Fucking madness!

Ugandan Asians were thrown out of Uganda by Idi Amin in the 1970’s.They were all British Passport holders and were professionals;shop keepers and middle management. Uganda quickly went down the pan as a result whilst these people by dint of hard work and aspiration came to the UK and set up businesses. Many of to-days British Asian entrepreneurs and millionaires can be traced back to that influx. The fact is that they got off their backsides and worked, encouraged their kids to work hard at school and go into the professions whilst the lazy indigenous populace was either going on strike, working to rule or skiving and now whingeing about the latest influx of hard working immigrants

Every now & again something happens in politics that makes you pinch yourself and ask is this for real? When Gordon Brown scrapped the 10p rate of tax I had one of those moments. Likewise, Gordon’s speech about “British Jobs for British Workers” was another. The Tories are not shy of their own “really” moments. Cameron talking about hugging a hoodie was definitely one of those, as was his hug a huskie moment. In short, “really” moments are those moments where a politician says or does something that runs against their political creed.

Well, tonight the Tory Party have delivered another one of those “really moments”. In the screen dump above, you can see that the Tory Party want your view about the fairness of their benefit reforms. That is their real terms cut in benefits for 2013-4 of up to 2% depending on inflation. There are three reasons why this qualifies as a really moment.

    1. They don’t want your view, just the view of the Tory faithful, otherwise why would they confine this exercise to their own website?

    2. Their concept of fairness is very different to your idea of what constitutes being fair. Is cutting benefits for working families, mothers and the disabled fair, for example?

    3. These are not “reforms”, they are cuts. The capping of benefits, the switch to PIP and the stricter ATOS tests are all ways of cutting the welfare budget.

I invite readers to go onto their website and give them the feedback they desire. Tell them what you think of their “reforms” and how “fair” they are

This is simply divide and rule – the oldest trick in the policians’ book – so that the ruling class (of whatever variety) keeps us, the hoi polloi / the plebs (take your pick) in our place.
Machiavelli might have got the blame for it, but he simply wrote it down for the political masters of his era, the Borgias et al. I’m sure Ugg Senior employed the same trick to keep the rest of the cavemen in order and himself in charge.
Nothing changes, politicians are only concerned about keeping power for themselves and their ilk, and to hell with the rest of us!

Ronald Reagan was quoting Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, who, for the benefit of youngsters in the audience, were a ventriloquist (of sorts) and his dummy. Bergen’s skill at ventriloquism per se was so pants, he would even have Charlie comment on how obviously Bergen’s lips were moving. But their lines were funny, and people forgave the man for this shortcoming. Reagan, like any other politician, had words put in his mouth by his handlers, much as Bergen put words in Charlie’s mouth. But Reagan came off as an essentially likable fellow, as witness his Hollywood roles, and people forgave him for being a “dummy,” as in the Charlie McCarthy sense. Most politicians, however, come off not quite so likable, and neither they nor their handlers are or can be as easily forgiven for what comes out of their mouths.

Do stuff for mates, for cheap or nowt. Produce as much as you can and master the techniques and software. There is loads of information on the web now.

But never, ever expect people to pay you for your ‘ideas’. You may as well try to make a living writing porn scripts.

    Economist says:

Look up fractional reserve banking – more applicable to the US than UK.

First: What is the money backed by. These days it is Fiat, politically backed, zero real value, easily debased and historically doomed to fail. Prior to 1971 money was backed by Gold – a standard to which we may likely return soon, an asset with a real value.

The Fiat $ is backed by assured military force if you have any issue with it.

In the fractional reserve system there is a multiplier effect as you go up the inverted pyramid. For every $1 lent from Fed or central monetary authority into the commercial banks, the commercial banks can issue $10 and so on. The initial $1 is created electronically these days – so the above point was correct.

The creation of money through debt instruments is similar. This is the primary way money is created, and it is created from nothing. (There is nothing of value backing it)

Sovereigns have a special privilege here, as money can be legitimately created by purchasing the sovereigns own issued debt through its central bank. This is useful for managing the nations debt, creating money from ‘nothing’ legitimately and can be summarized as QE. This cannot be done indefinitely though otherwise there are negative implications for inflation and exchange rate.

Northern Rock is an example of a bank which did lend more money than it had on deposit, and they experienced a run, and the government nationalized them. The other commercial banks in the UK which ran into similar issues – all be it a problem guaranteed in the future due to the loan to deposit ratios they were running – were dealt with the same way.

In terms of real deposits to outstanding liabilities many banks at present are insolvent. This is another reason why quite a number are being looked after directly by the government, and underwritten by the tax payer. This was the primary cause of the credit crunch in the first place.
