Huge tracts of the British countryside will have to be excavated to dig up all the bodies that old bastard knows the whereabouts of.
Good, I hope he gets brought in, we’ve had to have his z-list ‘clients’ trivial tittle tattle thrown in our faces long enough, his casual attitude when mounting a soft defence of the molesting perps is quite jaw dropping,
I wonder if Uncle Max himself has been ‘a shoulder to cry on’ to some of the poor waifs and strays he blasts all over the press when they’ve somehow found themselves on the end of a Premier league spit-roast and need to spill the beans, let’s stop fucking around and get to the bottom of this cesspit pronto.

    Max Clifford says:

Ye shall know the “truth,” and the “truth” will set you back a pretty penny, the way I spin it for you, but like anything else worth having, a “recovered reputation” is worth paying for, innit?

To be fair, the video starts with “as long as they’re not interfering with little kids..”.

So the whole uncut sentence quoted verbatim is:

“As long as they’re not interfering with little kids, then absolutely no problem
.I know that the truth will destroy them, and they don’t deserve that. So I create a false image. I’m deceiving people, I’m lying, for sure…”

So I’m not sure I see the link here…

      @ digitaltoast

He goes on to say about Alan Clark, ‘The only slightly serious side about it was he’d actually interfered with those girls from the age of fourteen’.

So, little kids – no. Older kids – well, pay him enough and he’ll keep quiet about it!

Yeah, I saw the whole video and heard that bit, but I didn’t hear him suggest he covered that up. And there’s a transcript here: http://www.deliberation.info/max-clifford-on-creating-false-images/
Look, I’m not in any way at all defending either slimeball. But there’s a lot of wild and unhelpful speculation, and there’s one bloke who I won’t name but seems to be doing the media circuit but his story changes a little each time and got very hostile and defensive when questioned on basic details and dates on PM last night, so I’m just saying that solid evidence is better than speculation for all concerned, or not concerned.

I left a vital bit of info out above – the “bloke doing the rounds” I mentioned is an alleged victim of the North Wales scandal. In case anyone was wondering, as they must often do, what the hell I’m going on about!

Well, if a PR guy knew about something and kept quiet about it, I’d say that is covering up.

Yes, it was but as I have been informed by a BBC journalist today (and seem to remember from the time) back then, they were only allegations. It seems that Clifford knew all along. in my book, as I stated above, that is covering up.

Clifford wasn’t in bed with them at the time! The allegations were out there when this was filmed. There is not a hope that he could be convicted of covering it up. And remember, he was not representing Clarke at the time, but the Harkess family.
