In Mensch’s defence (even though I can’t stand her), going on a half hour game show one evening is slightly different to taking a month off work. Mind you, Louise should know about taking time off, with her ‘school run’ interrupting the questioning of News International. What is hilarious is that Dorries spoke loudest against Mensch acting too much like a celebrity, and then goes and outdoes her in the very area she was criticising her for. Bit like the ‘back to basics’ days.

    Gordon Brown says:

My favourite game show is Golden Balls

    Kernow Castellan says:

For some reason, Guido is desperately trying to rally the Dorries Defence brigade.

Perhaps you should just recognise that your friend is, after all, a work-shy, money-grubbing self-publicist, just like all the other MPs. Why should she (almost uniquely) be spared your usual vitriol?

    Brent Fraser says:

I somehow doubt if it takes a whole month to film one episode of HIGNFY!

    What a stupid comparison…

    Greychatter says:

Like Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, McShame, etc., ? the list of Labour money grubbers could go on and on and on.

She will probably get more viewers than BBBC Parliament – or BBBC News – most people complaining about her will only just be learning she’s an MP.

    Hadrian (Emp.) says:

    Worthless airhead.

George Galloway says of his former Respect candidate the UKIP MEP turned Tory, Amjad Bashir…

“Clearly Bashir does not have any real political principles or commitment, only naked opportunism and self-interest. He represents the revolving door principle in politics. The Tories are welcome to him because he will cause them embarrassment. Fortunately Respect was able to act before he did it to us.”
