Full Leaked Tory Memo on UKIP Threat

As Guido wrote at the weekend:

Officially, the Conservative leadership pretends eurosceptic UKIP are not a threat; privately, their troops do not agree. Charles Tannock, a senior Tory Member of the European Parliament, has issued a panicked briefing to colleagues stating: “UKIP poses a direct threat to Conservative re-election prospects…UKIP polling at even 8% could be critical in splitting our vote and, paradoxically, help achieve the result of a small majority Labour government, or Labour-LibDem coalition – which is more pro-EU!”

And here is the whole memo:

Nope, no threat there…

Its wrong to cut child benefits for families on £50,0001 and still pay to

      1) families who make almost £100,000.
      2) people who have 10 kids.
      3) Cameron and Osborne’s parents and in-laws who are some of the richest in country. They are still getting winter fuel allowance, free TV licence, free travel, etc. Some even get millions for having wind turbines as well.

          • TWATSON, fat barsteward & trougher 1st class says:

He didn’t blow it C.T.M. The electorate blew it by voting Limpdump and UKIPPY.

Coalition is like any marriage, you have to compromise, and ir can be very unpalettable at times.

I bloody well don’t want the Leiber loonies back, but you vote UKIPPY and that’s what you’ll get.

            Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

          • Anonymous says:

TWATSON, fat barsteward & trougher 1st class,

Cameron could have always had a choice of forming a minority administration or called another election.

Cameron went into this marriage as it suited him on number of policies like gay marriage, huge a huddie, etc.

          • Anonymous says:

TWATSON, fat barsteward & trougher 1st class; if you never vote UKIP you will never get UKIP government.

          • Really? says:

Hey TWATSON your memory is malfunctioning.

UKIP offered to stand down at the last GE in return for a referendum on the EU.

Guess what? Call Me Useless said no and guess what again?

That’s right, the only reason UKIP got enough votes to prevent a Conservative victory, was Call Me Useless’s refusal to make a deal.

            Call Me Useless strikes again.

          • Tannock is right – but it is not just UKIP the voters should hear about, they need to be clear on Labours self serving actions not matching their fine words.

Tory communication sucks and until they find their mojo, Cameron serves a single term

          • Anonymous says:

          • lojolondon says:

I’m voting UKIP because Brave Dave bravely told me a cast-iron lie, and because all the reasons given above are natural conservative policies :

“Withdrawal from the EU and the European Court of Human Rights will solve all our economic problems. Strongly pro-nuclear and climate change sceptic, pro grammar schools and opposing more EU immigration and favours strengthened Commonwealth links.”

If these were current Conservative party policies I would be voting Conservative, and so would another 8% of the population.

Now they are lying to us again, pretending they can ‘renegotoate our position in Europe’ – what a load of bull, surely, surely the electorate won’t fall for that again!

          • TWATSON, fat barsteward & trougher 1st class says:

Annon, I don’t want a UKIPPY government. They’re a one trick pony. However, I do agree entirely with you that the tories should have either formed a minority Government, or held another election.

          • UKIP.i.am says:

I don’t want a PM who makes cast iron guarantees and then breaks them at the first opportunity. I don’t want a PM who wishes to perpetuate the injustice, anti-democracy and corruption of the EU. The Tories/Lib Dems and Labour are one trick ponies – being prodded and smacked by their EU masters. But every now and again they get a carrot. Ask Kinnoccio.

Machiaveli, it will never happen as Osborne went and increase benefits payment by 6%. Government is saying its cutting benefits, all that is happening is government is moving them around in such a way it will look like unemployment is falling while total benefits paid goes up and up every day.

This government plan to borrow much more in 5 years than what Labour borrowed in 13 years. When it come to spending money this government is left of Labour.

It’s possible UKIP could let Labour in through the back door in 2015, but they’d have to put in an amazing performance as Miliband and Balls are pretty much unelectable.

Just heard the Lib Dems talking a about a “progressive, cheaper alternative to Trident”

It is shocking that they can float such inane ideas as “keeping the nuclear weapons in a safe location dis-mantled until they are needed” – are they really that dense? The reason MAD worked was because the potential enemy did not know where your deternet was at any given time. They knew that a a surprise attack would result in massive retaliation. Keeping the nukes on the shelf dimantled would present a very real opportunity for an enemy to take them out before you had any chance of assembling them.

God they are like naive fucking children – these hoons have power – these hoons could not defend the realm if their miserable & dangerous ideology depnded on it.

The sooner Clegg is forced to recind his British Citizenship the better. The sooner the Lib Dems are decimated & scurry off to their natural home in SWP the better.

They got nearly 1 million votes in 2010, nearly 1/10 of the Tory number. Since then their popularity has skyrocketed on the back of Middle England disillusionment with Dave. They are likely to win the 2014 European elections, making them I believe the first party other than the Tories, Labour and the Liberals to ever win a national election. Which will do a lot to increase their general election vote in 2015. UKIP will take a considerable

That is why the Tories are scared, and why the stupid bastards should call a proper referendum unless Dave fancies becoming Gordon mark 2. Because more than enough of us see the bigger picture and know the EU is far more of a threat to us than that boggle-eyed berk Ed Miliband, who Boris would destroy at the next election anyway.

Meanwhile, UKIP driving CallMeDave & Co out will pave the way for a PROPER Tory party once again; one that believes in this country and puts UK interests first. OK, it means we’ll have a Millipede-led govt for a time, but – as ever – the Tories will eventually be re-elected to clear up their mess.

I can’t see any other way of bringing it about.

Err, not strictly true, but as always I welcome the fact that lies are all you appear to have. WTO rules cover 93% of our trade with the EU and and thus would remain unaffected.
It would be very easy to negociate for the other 7%.

We buy far, far more from them than they sell to us, so any trade barriers would hurt the EU member states far more than us.

FACTS: Switzerland pays £250 million CHF a year, Norway around 200 million Euros a year to be part of the larger trading group.

The UK pays £55million a DAY to be a member.

      Well it's a thought says:

Laws are not made in this country anymore due to the fact they gave the power away to the EU, we really only have the equivlent a County Council in charge of the country, so we should really only be paying County Council rates to these so called MPs who are really Councillors.

      • 130
        Anonymous says:

Maybe, but they also have lost the ability. Just look at the implications of the recent car park laws.

Why have traffic fines with strict requirements on cameras and technology to capture evidence when private car park operators have no requirement for basic proof.

DVLA gives out our details without the persons knowledge. They do not even follow through to check the fine is valid. Threats of escalating values for every attempt to contest their dishonesty. Who says that the cameras are timed correctly with the ticket machine. They tried to give me a fine for not having a ticket. I was only 2 car rows away reading the terms and conditions! If I had left I would have had a fine for not paying, but I could not read the ridiculous rules without entering the car park.

Then again that just proves the stupidity of our legal system. A contract that is enforced before the terms can be read. How about the stupid no return conditions. Say an MP drove away and left their child behind at our towns supermarket complex. Immediate fine for returning within 4 hours. Automated cameras. Would he have gone back?

Why do we not have the right to know who has been given our personal data? We should be given theirs at the same time. The DVLA should notify us of every access to our data.

If they deny us a vote on the EU with a straightforward IN/OUT question, then many of us will deny the Tories our votes and switch to UKIP.
