Paging Tom Watson

Sometimes Guido likes to do his bit as a public service by bringing matters of interest to the attention of the relevant authorities. Yesterday Labour councillor Chris Vobe was suspended after a police investigation was launched into the alleged hacking of his colleagues’ email accounts. Vobe is the son of Labour MP Helen Jones, he’s very much a mummy’s boy. Of course hacking crusader Tom Watson will want to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible…

Seems Billy spotted this one too.

“There was a party at The Monkey Bar which was not bad, but there was an extreme lack of good looking women. I spent the evening with Kirk (Metallica guitarist) – we were accosted by Adam Bomb who we haven’t seen since he played with Metallica at the Palladium in 1984. Louise Mensch, former MP and wife of Peter, took some nice photos of Kirk and me. Adam Bomb gave me his new CD as I left and asked if I can get it in Classic Rock… ”

By interesting, I do mean mean spirited and judgemental.

Imagine if Savile had worked at Sky all those years.

David Bellamy hasn’t had any work off them for 30 years because he called man made global warming bollox, they can remember then.

          • bergen says:

The way Bellamy was treated was a total disgrace-real stasi tactics. He showed dissent from the BBC/Guardianista “line to take” and he became a non-person.Ironically, it’s beginning to look like he was the one who was right all along.

          • jgm2 says:

Of course he was right. AWG is nothing more than a religion. It requires blind faith. It is no more credible than creationist palaeontology.

Deep in their hearts they know it themselves. Which is why ‘man-made global warming’ morphed into ‘global warming’ and has now morphed into ‘climate change’.

They know you can’t argue with ‘climate change’. The climate does indeed change. But it’s a million miles away from ‘the world is ending and it’s all our fault..’ which is where they started from.

If anyone is still in any doubt about the existence of an inherent left-wing bias within the BBC, may I suggest that they listen to the comments of Claire Fox on the Moral Maze radio programme this week, about 5 minutes from the end (you can fast forward it on iplayer to avoid having to listen to the pro-BBC propagandists.) AS i said this phone hacking scadal was not just a few newspapers but they were all at it. As for the BBC i think the police investigation will uncover a few problems for the BBC. In a few months i reckon a few high profile names might find themselves spending time with the plod for covering up criminal offences, remember these junior employees in some cases are now in senior posts. Also given the BBC blaming the police vfor last years riots and other matters, i reckon the police have a score to even. Abit like mps expenses and phone hacking.

Rod Liddle on the loony UN sexism special rapporteur:

“There is more sexism in Britain than in any other country in the world, according to a mad woman who has been sent here by the United Nations.

Rashida Manjoo is a part-time professor of law at Cape Town University in the totally non-sexist country of South Africa (otherwise known as Rape Capital Of The World).

Mrs Magoo has been wandering around with her notebook and is appalled by the sexist “boys’ club” culture here, apparently.

I don’t doubt we still have sexism in the UK. But is it worse than in, say, Saudi Arabia, d’you think, honey-lamb? Or about 175 other countries? Get a grip, you doolally old bat.”
