Exclusive: Euan Blair Sent to Coventry With Geoffrey Robinson Daily Star Sunday Column Now Online mdi-fullscreen

As Guido exclusively revealed in yesterday’s Daily Star Sunday, Blair could be in Parliament in 2015. Euan Blair that is.

It has been mentioned before that Euan might be interested in following his father’s footsteps, but Guido brings you the first details of his plan, and his new intriguing mentor:

“Keep an eye on the selection for the Labour seat of Coventry North West. Guido hears current MP Geoffrey Robinson is planning to retire at the next election and is taking a keen interest in the selection of his successor. Potential rival candidates have been put off by Euan Blair putting his face around the constituency in Robinson’s company. The former PM’s son has also been attending the local party’s committee meetings. Dullness you would only sit through for one reason.”

Guido also broke the news last week that Will Straw was in the running for a seat, but it will be Euan that really gets tongues wagging. Robinson was closer to the Brownites so it’s in interesting development that he’s taken Euan under his wing. One to watch…

Elsewhere in the column, Guido brings you Diane Abbott’s two faced hypocrisy on bonuses, Lembit’s Clown torture and a the first UKIP-Tory alliance. We also found it a bit odd that when the Foreign Office was packed with half naked women, the Foreign Secretary was nowhere to be seen…
