Mrs Nadir has just told the whole world that her husband has given generously to charities over the years.

You cannot do that with taxpayers money.

It will all have to be repaid.

Mrs Nur Nadir looks a bit of a goer and with some spare time on her hands!

      Top totty.

Do the media usually give air-time to the relatives of convicted criminals in order that they can speak of that relative’s good deeds and plead their innocence, just five minutes after they’ve been sentenced in a court.

    SP4BS says:

The newspapers didn’t really need to show the pictures to tell the story.

They said you were the only “British” website to publish them. Aren’t you offended by people getting your nationality “wrong”.

    AnalStatistician says:

I’ve searched your page carefully and it’s really odd – I can find no mention of Asil Nadir! This is strange, because you normally feature corrupt criminals who give money on a large scale to political parties. I thought you were some kind of independent libertarian, Guido. Can it be that you are unaware of the very large donations from stolen money that Nadir gave to the Tories? Or do you regard that as OK?

      smoggie says:

Hardly current affairs. There is absolutely no evidence that any money given to the Conservative Party was stolen…. in fact Nadir would have been an idiot to have done so.

You have just therefore libelled both Nadir and the Conservative Party.

Guido has your IP Address should it be required.

        Plato says:

Nadir is a crook, so many things are possible. I would’ve thought giving stolen money away would hardly bother him?

          smoggie says:

          Hardly proof is it?

          • Plato says:

No, it isn’t. But, wouldn’t the Conservatives want to be dis-associated with a convicted thief and give it back, anyway?

            The moral high ground?

          • smoggie says:

The moeny did not come from him but from the company – which no longer exists as it was wound up decades ago. Who would they give it back to exactly?

          • Plato says:

Good question. A charity of their choice?

          • smoggie says:

Keep Labour Out of Office charity sounds good to me. The money is precisely where it belongs.

“John Lennon’s killer Mark Chapman is denied parole for a seventh time by New York prison authorities.”

Imagine that. Do all the Assange-apologists and anti-American rassists want Chapman to be released because the US is such an evil state? Just asking.

Guido. The way the Most Read Stories on the Guidogram are listed would suggest you might have a personal vendetta / friendship with various parties. There appears to be no correlation between the amount of participants reacting to a thread and your prefential order.
eg. Why was Piet Moron singled out last week to top the list when he received less hits than many others.?

SIR EVERARD PENIS Q C says:

Asil Nadir gets 10 years for stealing nearly 40 million quid ,fleeing the country evading arrest for 17 years ,in a case that cost the tax payer 30 million quids
meanwhile in another court a getaway driver who drove at 180mph to aviod arrest after a robbery at a petrol station gets 9 years

British justice ! One law for the rich etc

“”You’re either in front of Guido, or behind”". Dont mention this to Tory mates of Nadir…..defo Behind from now on.

As Toss Boy Micky Mates used to say “Don’t let the buggers get you down”

That advise has been revised to

“”Dont let the buggers bugger you in the showers”"

  15. 33
    Aggrieved says:

Who would they give Nadir’s money back to?? Do you know any basic company law Smoggie? How about the thousands of creditors of Polly Peck and their heirs?

Tom Harris bemoans the public’s attitude to politicians…

“Mr Oborne echoes the lazy, anti-politics whine we hear so often these days, all based on the absurd notion that politicians were once loved and only fell out of public favour during the expenses scandal. He should take a walk to the Strangers’ Bar. But not to sup with the patrons he seems to despise so much, dearie me, no; he should instead look at the paintings on the corridor outside the bar, which depict the devastating fire which consumed most of the Palace in 1834. And he should reflect on the fact that on that dramatic night, as the Commons went up in flames, a crowd gathered on the South Bank to clap and cheer.”

Focus group time. says:

The thing that Dave needs to work out is which group is more likely to vote Conservative. Mad swivel-eyed loons or mad homosexuals wishing to get married.
