Mark Thompson’s new pay package has been revealed:

BREAKING: New York Times CEO Thompson will get $1 million salary, $3 million bonus, via @BloombergNews

While he is in line for a huge bonus, it means Thompson’s new basic wage is less than the whopping £671,000 he was paid by the Beeb. Who would have thought a public organisation would pay over the odds…
