Whilst the UK Press are claiming this is all a US conspiracy to undermine the City of London and Standard Chartered has issued its own Press Release saying that whilst they have done wrong they are not nearly that bad on Wednesday 15 August they are in the Dock to show cause why they should not lose their Banking Licence.
Let us hope the allegations from New York are thrown out as otherwise another PLC Company will be in the brown stuff.
