C4 News Deputy Editor Is New Met Comms Chief

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that Channel 4 News deputy editor Martin Fewell will be their new Director of Communications. Fewell replaces Dick Fedorcio, who quit earlier this year after facing disciplinary proceedings for gross misconduct.

What was that about the police and the press being too close?

That’s standard Guido practice when someone nicks his work, isn’t it? ;-)

George Galloway says of his former Respect candidate the UKIP MEP turned Tory, Amjad Bashir…

“Clearly Bashir does not have any real political principles or commitment, only naked opportunism and self-interest. He represents the revolving door principle in politics. The Tories are welcome to him because he will cause them embarrassment. Fortunately Respect was able to act before he did it to us.”
