Regular Media Guido readers will be aware of Piers Morgan’s ratings woes in recent months. In June Jon Stewart twisted the knife, while others piled in as the beleaguered talk show host dragged CNN to a 21-year low. There has been no reprieve in July either, with the latest figures revealing that Piers’ show is down by almost 20% year-on-year for total viewers and by 25% in the crucial 25-54 age range. It could be worse, at least he’s not on NBC…
