Is this sort of thing covered by the extradition treaty? Maybe CPS don’t know whether they can get him in the US. Piers might want to sit tight in the US for awhile till it gets sorted out– the US might not allow him to be arrested and renditioned (errm, extradited) for something that’s possibly not a crime in the US. In any event, make the Crown have to work for it, Piers; it’s journalism’s future at stake here!

Everyone deserves a second chance,but in the case of Andy Coulson, a third or fourth chance must be given.

My advice to Brooks and Coulson would be to get John Terry’s legal team on board. They would be certain to be found not guilty.
If Brooks and Coulson had been employed by the Graun or Mirror, they wouldn’t even have been charged, no matter whether they’re guilty or not.
