The “Serious Questions to Answer” Game

The Labour shadow Treasury team are having some fun this morning throwing Osborne’s words back at him. Haughty Balls wannabe Chris Leslie has gone on the attack declaring: “Stephen Green has serious questions to answer over investigations into HSBC”. That turn of phrase sounds rather familiar…

Trade Minister Stephen Green was at HSBC while they were letting terrorists and international criminals use their banking services. Though revenge is being sought for Osborne’s Balls/Libor row, it’s not looking good for the BIS envoy.

If the truth and reconciliation game is going to continue though, Leslie might like to have a chat with his more talented and better placed shadow Treasury colleague Rachel Reeves. Reeves was a “business planner” at HBOS between 2006 and 2009. Right at the time when HBOS, as a business, was planning and undertaking their ill-fated £12bn merger with Lloyds TSB.

What did their bonus-earning “business planner” know about this disastrous deal?

What part did she play in ignoring the warnings?

Reeves has serious questions to answer…

‘Business planner’ is a bit ambiguous. I get the general gist, but what was she responsible for exactly?

I’d look it up myself but there are clever people here and my finger hurts…

I think it was like a bonding session that they would do.

Let’s face it. The outcome was so fantastically humongously and devastatingly ghastly that even the most meticulous planning for that eventuality would not have got even close.

The problem with Rachel Reeves is that it doesn’t matter what she says, whether good or bad, as soon as she starts talking, her robotic monotone drone makes you lose the will to live.

She should be sent to an Inquisition all of her own! What is a ‘business planner’ is it like a ‘party planner’? Your elite are so blatant in their contempt for you they have over the last 25 years created a little cosy world of the media/banks/politics that only they, their friends and family can gain access to. All three parties are really interchangable you are just left with a little show election every few years but no change really takes place. As an old degenerate Dago retunring to your once lovely land I can see the changes more clearly than you might. But I would have thought that the Cromwellian spirit would have movtivated a few by now to actually DO something.

All elites are corrupt and arrogant, but this is usually tempered by a fear of the masses and their abilitiy to actually be a functioning ellite. There should also be a mechanism for your lower middle class to rise into the elite. It seems to me your elite has no fear, cannot function and has setout to destroy the lower middle class. Yet they still rule you!

As I say I’ve been away for over 30 years so perhaps you like it this way? I’ve been attending some Tory party socials recently (they do like an old Dago like me with money) but to be frank I’m not inclined to give them any they re such greedy people! And so stupid!

Still your countryside is still wonderful and the few villages that you have not packed with Online Marketing and Event Directors still worth seeing. I shall be visiting your two great Universities before I leave ( I had the honour to be sent down from both), to see if they are still populated with dirty old men and untrustworthy undergraduates!

When is the Treasury Select Committee going to give a mauling to Balls, Miliband Vadera, Brown and O’Donnell? Is a dead cert that they’ll say: “I’ve never heard of Libor”, “No-one told us anything”, “I can’t remember if we’ve ever met Mervyn King” “What is a bank?”.

There was no ‘planning’ for a merger with Lloyds. Up until late 2008, all HBOS did was continue to play russian roulette with their wholesale markets funding model, testing it unto destruction. Then Gaygordon, having realised that he saved the wrong bank when he took over Norther Wreck, did his famous arm-twisting trick with the clueless Victor Blank, who did about as much planning for the hasty merger with HBOS as I do with my Grand National bets.

We hope this will dispel the Left Wing Biased News Reporting that we are doing

We’ve been celebrating for the last 2+ years & hope to return to the office at some point in the future once we have sobered up & got over our hang over.

Your wrong they did not go bust, they just ran a little low on financial stimulus instruments, as Ed Bollox & I had to share just one counting beads board which was the direct result of those terrible Thatchers cuts in ’79 & all confirmed by our broadcasting arm aka BBC

And don’t forget I should know I was at the Centre of all this Balls Up well just to the Left…………but Ed Bollox was mostly to blame for my decisions like when I announced before hand when I was going (giveaway) a large part of the UK Gold Reserves plus the date & this alone really has enriched Gold Market Traders beyond there wildest dreams.

although now for some reason most people wish I was’nt at the Treasury at all …….can’t think why not….I was the best Chancellor there ever was having abolished boom but not the totally BUST side for generations to come!!!

Let me say yet again it was really all Sue’s fault she told me Ed Bollox has one very sharp grey cell which he uses to accelerate his Blink Rate Per minute, this proves his grasp over all things money wise according to her.

But Sue really proved to be just an active promoter of Bigots only……

Guido is way behind in this one as I posted comments about the inept performances of both the Labour and Conservative Treasury spokesmen both women both promoted way above their pay grade. The Labour one Reeves who worked as nothing useful prior to be a MP was employed as a business advisor by HBOS during the period when the bank was ripping people off for billions. Should she stay or should she go …. How she can stay in office with this in the public domain beggars belief
