Where did all these postal votes come from? Appearing from thousands of people who just happened to be unable to be able to go to the polling stations between 7am and 10pm? That’s a lot of people away on holiday!!!!! Time we started asking people to give evidence of why they need a postal vote.
Time to ban the entire farce – if you can’t get to a polling station, you can’t vote. Simple really and all it needs is a Conservative with a pair of spheroids to get it done.
Go back to having a list of occupations who are entitled to a postal vote: medics, police, and anyone working at the polling stations (including the party volunteers) on the day.
There are also some changes in the proxy system, too boring to explain here, which would reduce fraud.
And above all forget e-voting. Completely. Just forget it.
