Tonge is Out
Jihad Jenny Jumps Before Pushed from LibDems

After refusing Nick Clegg’s “apologise or resign” ultimatum, Jenny Tonge has had the LibDem whip removed and Guido hears she is to leave the party. Respect’s first Peer?

Not bad for five hours work and a tip of the hat to Student Rights for pushing this to us.

Think it’s time for a pint…

At this rate there won’t be any Yellow Rosettes left in the cabinet by the next election.

No cares if you shoot your mouth off for years in opposition.

The LibDems are finding the accountability of office very trying (especially in Huhne’s case)

Btw, those Jews who were incomers had more historical connection to the land than your ‘inhabitants of Palestine’ -the majority of whom arrived from Egypt and other Arab states in the late 1800s and early 1900s looking for work on the infrastructures Jewish inhabitants were building. Those who were incomers had greater historical connection with the land than ‘Palestinians’, most of whom in reality arrived from Egypt and other Arab states (many still owning property there) late 1800s and early 1900s in search of work on the infrastructures preexisting Jewish inhabitants were creating. All pre-Balfour. But don’t let up with your prejudicial revisionist ahistorical fantasies. And wear your keffiyeh with pride.

    Earth is 7000 years old

A being capable of creating a universe is preoccupied with what his human creations eat, wear and who they have sex with

Said being possesses strangely human traits of oversensitivity, jealousy and egomania by expecting complete devotion from his puny creations without providing any evidence, and vows torment and punishment for anyone who doesn’t praise him or for anyone who gambles on following the wrong religion

Said being is loving and merciful but sets up a strange lottery by allowing a proliferation of different religions, each one threatening eternal damnation if they follow the wrong one, instead of clearly elucidating the correct one by providing evidence of his existence

From 1830 to 1914, British policy was to support the Turk by all means possible against the Russian bear…crimea etc. Gladstone broke the pattern for a short while. Despite all that Ali Baba went over to the Germans in 1914 hoping to get great swaths of territory…and lost.

Not sure they lost as they just grabbed after the event (Smyrna/Izmir, Dedeagach etc.). Treaty of Lausanne revised the first Paris settlement in 1923, recognising their strongarm tactics as Greece lost territory and had to receive hundreds of thousands of displaced refugees.

Regardless, my point remains. Are we enjoying any lesser or greater freedoms of speech than 120 years ago?

Freedom of speech is now only permitted for illegal immigrants, who appear have to freedom to deride this country and what it used to stand for and to potentially insight all sorts of potential unrest. Englanders appear now to be no longer free in our own country. For this we thank all weak and incompetent politicians of all parties, with special thanks to Tony, Gordon and our own little Nick and Dave.

It’s not that I’m in a bad mood – it’s just that I can’t stand terrorists whether they appeal to Jahweh or Allah, and anything to do with the former sort brings out the worst of my many prejudices.

I wasnt too sure what alledged hand gesture was all about , looked to me like a a poor sedentary position attempt at the lambeth walk dance .

PMQs wasnt really unexpected quite surprised at Mr Cleggs rapid response to ed ,EU FU emergency debate had some interesting speaking one of my favourite lines was about how obvious it was it isnt working and they do nothing .Even Mr mcshane was running out of belief and strayed onto unreasoned necessity.

Eds later statement on Murdoch was one to bare in mind , goodness knows if ever an enquiry was done on where all the money went .

NN did quite a good job on NHS and if anything I was reminded , not so much in what has been labelled as poor communication of bill , as to how some people change positions at very important times .Mr Burnham got rather hot when asked what his proposal was “better service side” , still could have been worse he may have had to explain how labours 14% cut in budget would have enabled that . Perhaps all is a little now more obvious to the PM when he gave them a broadside about “nothing just a big vaccuum” a few weeks back . Labour have not produced any sort of shadow budget , we do not know what labour would have cut , yet they make music on any cuts offered and nearly caught them out tonight on NN .
The need for primary legislation , made a better sound , somthing Mr Burnham seems to forget is a straight yes or no matter . The lines about , not needing legislation , as already doing it , was perhaps professional uptake forgetting even positive co operative attitudes , will still need cost analysis . It them perhaps got a little more chopped , saving money and re investing it , will in my view turn out to be a very good idea , in what looks like being slow recovery , history I hope will eventually read , this approach saved the NHS , but of course the more important aspects of quality improvement , will require some different analysis , as this more creative process gets underway .So long as Mr Lansley can maintain an open mind in what ever points he has in mind for reviews of certain aspects , he should find the right sort of questions for any problems , in the clincal procurement and analysis aspects . once the bill is out of the way , his team will be able to interact in a different way in integrating the positive aspects and in my view be able to shape some of the professionalism in a different and better way , as the right checks and balances sort themselves out . How he works with problem large groups (ex PCTs)will i hope be a skill of wand over stick , there are still some trusts indebted , which suggests there may be management problems underneath the financial losses , as Gerry Robinson (business guru) found when he tried to consider how to get improvement .Presume we will all be in a happier place when PFI works through , although dont know what the thinking is for when new hospitals or clinics are needed .
At least some of “better” aspects became a little more apparent , in the rough seas of doubt and spurious lines.
Tricky one for PM on any reshuffle , as if Mr lansley is right then replacing him could make things worse on a key aspect , but any Pm is always faced with the unimaginable aspects of pondering , how well somthings are working in hostile winds over the fair trial assement periods of any policy . He at least decided to support a minister with a diffcult job , at some rather contrived fake pressures , which in my view at is a feather in his cap at being PM and dare I say even Mr Clegg eventually seemed to get it .

No MSM reported on Ben Bernanke 6 monthly commite hearing , I know Ron Paul seems just the kind of querky thinker , that asks some never spoken questions about finance . He got out a silver coin (wasnt quite sure problem of lega tender was all about) and went on about actual money having worth and hayeks view on dual currencies (lost me at that point) . When he said that dumping fed and electronic money may be way to go , I was rather jaw dropped , as it seemed it could work .
If anyone could explain what he was articulating be most interested .

    FAO/ Mr ‘Paragnostic':

It’s the library again. A bit of digging has revealed where the problem lies! You once (in 1980) tried to return the Von Daniken titles to the ‘History’ department of the Central County Library. Of course that dept was unable to take receipt of the aforementioned titles and records show that this appears to have been our last communication with you.

A ‘senior Conservative party official’ passes judgement on Theresa May:

“She is boring. A technocrat. She is Philip Hammond with a fanny. Not interesting, but rendered interesting by circumstance. And that circumstance is that she is a woman. And in an age when the Prime Minister gets it in the neck for refusing to wear a fucking T-shirt that says he is a feminist, that is a rocket boost right underneath you.”

Left on Left says:

The lefties are attacking because the panellist is a millionaire and lives in a London home worth upwards of two million. Someone had best tell them he’s called Ed Miliband.
