How many read about an MP using foul language and head-butting (head-butting!) someone in a taxpayer-subsidised bar and wondered if it was a Conservative? I bet no-one guessed it would be a leftie Scot or Scouser.

Eric Joyce may be scum, but he may also have other issues less immediately obvious that lead him to act in the irrational way that he did. Ex military and all that sort of thing…

        Chief of Staff says:

Although he was in the army, he was in the ‘Education Corps’ i.e. a School Teacher. He was not therefore involved in any military front line action. He was just teaching Soldiers in a classroom. The Army was glad to get rid of him, after he accused them of class warfare, in a political stunt to become a Labour MP. Gaol is the best place for him.

        • 182
          Jungle says:

He started off as Private Soldier in the Black Watch! So probably spent a few months wondering around cluelessly in Northern Ireland, being called a mong and feeding the Buckfast habit when in Barracks. He entered the Education Corps later in his career, where his contemporaries describe him as a Hunt. He is a bitter and twisted little council estate chav mong who is clearly way above his competence, and definitely several levels way above his incompetence.
The administrative tools the Army used to get rid of him were extraordinary! It is not everyday that an officer is forcibly sacked and made to do so! Most take the decent rout e and resign first. You could lose a weapon and not have similar action taken against you.
I hope full charges are pressed against him and he ends up with a sphincter that yeti can fist.

For a start, he was mobbed by those rough Tory MPs who think they own the place, so he obviously felt oppressed and threatened and his dignity and personal self-esteem suffered.

So that we can have a Labour government again in 2015 and continue on the communist/marxist path and descent into the fourth world?

Ah who cares – surely we’ve all got leathered and chinned someone at one point or another? I look back on my infrequent bar-room brawls with fondness – no injuries worse than you’d pick up on a pitch, and always a good story afterwards.

I’m more amused today by the Guardian’s desperate attempt to put its fingers in its ears and go lalalalalalala to the latest abortion scandal. I say latest, though it’s been common knowledge for at least 15 years – I recall trying to interest Index on Censorship in the practice of ultrasound operators clamming up on the issue of sex, in certain… diverse parishes… IoC wouldn’t touch it. *Difficult* you see.

Not only because it reflects badly on the muzzies, but because of this ‘woman’s right to choose shite’ – and the conflict for the sisterhood of wanting abortion on demand, but… not quite liking the wholesale slaughter of girls, because they are girls. There’s a good discussion there, a moral argument – a talking point. But t’lefties, they’re thick as pigshit, and can’t tease it out.

Hence… silence. Dig deep in the Guardian to find the story.

That’s been known for longer than 15 years Frank. There’s a thriving business (or used to be) in private ultra-sounds so that our enriched culture can make the correct decisions. This was in response to the NHS deciding that it would no longer allow ultra-sound operatives to tell any fucker, black white or mixed what sex the baby was likely to be. For the same reason they have to search the requisite number of incontinent Home Counties grannies at airport security. Because it wouldn’t do to descriminate.

To be honest I thought it was our Hindu chums who were more keen on getting the ‘right’ result than the religion of pe*a*ce.

Well I couldn’t’ say for sure who is at it, as the media have been saying NOWT for so long, but you’re probably right.

On the dates, I know in Newham in 1998 they were quite happy to tell us. In Newham in 2000, they were not – and, as you say, the ultrasound operator gave us a card for a private service, if we wanted to know – no doubt with a kickback to her. I know in Manchester now, they also give out cards for private scans. Did you know in India you need state permission to import an ultrasound scanner?

WTF is wrong with these people… Speaking personally, I’m quite keen on there being more women… Just so long as we dont’ let them vote or drive, naturally.
