I humbly beg to differ. I am indifferent to most politicians on a personal level. Once they resign, I put them out of my mind as the non-entities they usually are. But I hate Huhne with the passion most reserve for Blair, as someone who has deliberate, systematically and repeatedly misled the public. Every time I turn a fire when it’s cold and remember how much more it’s costing because of Huhne, every time I see the Martian invaders on our beautiful British countryside (apologies H.G., I’m sure yours were more attractive), every time I see him living it up in Cancun or South Africa whilst bleating about the death of the planet, I am overcome by a vicious personal hatred. I now want to see him bent & broken on our judicial system, banged up & best of all, responsible for losing the Lib Dems a few more points in the polls! If it is proven Clegg knew about this through the two wives, that will be like my birthday & Xmas coming on the same day!

Still, mustn’t pre judge the bastard

His friends will soon readmit him to cabinet, soon after Laws. Bastards all.

Andrew Pierce on Ed Balls…

“Porky Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls sweet-talked guests at a fund-raising dinner by saying if he wasn’t a politician, he would be a chef. That’s not surprising, since he was accused of cooking the Treasury books when he was Gordon Brown’s boot boy.”
