Guardian Backtrack on Gove Story But More Questions Emerge

After Guido pointed out the inappropriate smearing of Gove and his links to a Jewish antisemitism Charity, carefully timed for Holocaust Memorial Day, the paper has backtracked and apologised. Not with due prominence in their paper, but in a quote to the Jerusalem Post instead:

“The story does not in any way suggest that the funding ofsecurity guards for Jewish schools was inappropriate, only that Mr. Gove should have stood aside from the grant giving process given his relationship with CST. It was scheduled for publication on Thursday but pushed back because of the volume of news that day. We should have spotted the unfortunate timing and regret any offense caused.”

A textbook non-apology, but interesting that they didn’t see fit to say sorry for including a quote from SpinWatch’s David Miller in the same story. The same David Miller who is rather fond of printing neo-Nazi essays and believes in vast “Jewish lobby” conspiracies. Perhaps the Guardian should have had a look through their own archives before giving Miller coverage. Here’s what they published about him in July:

“SpinProfiles and Neocon Europe are projects that, under the guise of academia, are used to carry out campaigns of smear and harassment by creating selectively produced profiles of people and groups with different political outlooks, often ignoring facts that do not support their agenda. This approach characterises both of Miller’s projects, and to treat them as academic endeavours is to do a great disservice to British academia’s long tradition of neutral and unbiased inquiry.”

One of these factors alone can be spun as an oversight. But two…

The real story is WHY we are having to fund security guards for Jewish schools. But then the MSM shining a light on the reasons might put a spoke in the vibrancy and diversity agenda that this government continues to promote.

As Gove is the biggest liar in the Condem government tirelessly working to facilitate the plunder of the education service by his rich mates there are plenty of things to pin on him without making up ridiculous nazi smears.

The Guardian newspaper in UK is a well know and proud anti-Semitic rag.
Permanently on the verge of bankruptcy if it were not for the family owned Scott trust (owners of the original Manchester Guardian) Now called the Scott Trust Ltd. as it was a ‘register charity’ in 2008.
In any civilised country it would be considered the equivalent of the Beobachter in pre-war Germany. It will print any anti Israel/Jewish story it can drum up so send your contributions c/o some Hunt called Rushbridger.

Some Geezer wot thinks some other geezers are consistent only in their inconsistency says:

Now, here you have the Left quoting Scripture unto their own purpose, as it were. The Left are notorious for the practice of rehabbing those they would not initially agree with when it suits them to do so, the person being quoted or otherwise cited now being said to have “grown” in their opinions and beliefs. They get away with this by invoking a Ralph Waldo Emersonian argument that foolish consistency is the hob-goblin of small minds, i.e. consistency is not a virtue when to be consistent is to look foolish in the light of subsequent information having come out that might change things. Old Ralphie’s dictum is probably true enough and a wise rule of thumb in most cases that involve empirical data, but it certainly has no place in trying to justify political flip-flopping based solely on expediency. But when were the Left ever consistent enough to be coherent anyhow?

      Phil says:

That sounds like a perfect picture of the current tree shagging, carbon reduction is essential brigade and its supporters currently in government who know a revenue raising tax scam when they see one. You start start with “Manmade global warming” when that doesn’t happen you go for “Global Warming” and when that appears to be faltering because of nearly 2 decades of cooling the next tag is “Climate change”. If I may be bold I predict we may be entering into a “Manmade global freezing period” or to give it it’s proper name “Natural evolutionary temperature fluctuation.

Self righteous politically correct leather-elbow-patched crapsheet with only 235’000 circulation. Much of that will be accounted for by it’s inevitable delivery to every school staff room and council office around the country, where it is consumed hungrily by tiny yet highly self-congratulatory minds.

I last read it when I was about 18, catching a train and wanting to look clever. Now it is beyond parody.

The Grauniad is a long term anti-Semitic rag. Only kept afloat by the Scott family trust which is now a limited company. (was a charity until 2008) after that even they did not have the chutzpah.
Send all anti-Semitic items c/o: C.U.N.T. Rushbridger who will print the rubbish with delight true or not.
Not only have I never bought a copy for money I deleted them from my browser (free) long long ago.

Spinwatch used to have a Wikipedia entry. Back in 2009 they produced a ‘report’ telling everyone how evil conservative MEPs were. See the Guardian article here about it:

Reading through the comments below the article, you’ll note that a poster called HuffingJenkem brought to readers’ attention the Wikipedia entry. It listed who funded SpinWatch. Within an hour, the page had been edited to remove this information from public view. Despite numerous attempts to resubmit the information, somebody (doubtless Spinwatch themselves) decided to delete the information revealing Spinwatch’s murky background each time.

As you can see from the link below, the article has been removed completely:

For a grouping so determined to record information about people who don’t share their twisted ideology, they work very hard to hide their own backgrounds.

Lets give Gove a break .. being a public school boy he hasnt a clue about state education so hes doing what every useless apparatchik looking for a meal ticket does .. suck up to the queen for grace and favour and the Jewish lobby groups for a cushy non exec.

the reality is that to give state money on pure racial grounds is both unethical and fosters (much like Goves pushing of selection by racial descrimination) discrimination and racism …

Gove Gove go away and for F**ks sake dont come back any day?
