It’s amazing that Martin Luther King is still regarded as heroic and above reproach. The man was a phony, a notorious philanderer who wanted to fuck every woman in sight and had his pals arrange orgies for him. Typical religious hypocrite. Lord a mercy!
I would say that most leaders, good or bad, are prone to philandery. It’s part of the syndrome: if you can seduce the public, you can get women into your bed. Leaders with the continence of monks tend to be even more dangerous: Adolf might have been a nicer person if he had shagged a few more Fräulein.
However, I do have a problem with those famous dream speeches. When I was at school — which was at the same time that King was active — one of my teachers was an unrepentant Nаzі (yes, really) and she used to play us 78 rpm records of the Führer’s speeches. If you heard one of these distantly through a closed door, it was impossible to tell whether the orator was AH or MLK. Same technique of gradually whipping hearers into a frenzy.
It was a useful lesson, I think. Beware of all orators. I am thinking of Obama in particular.

As an aside, early in his career he was associated with some rather Far-Left-ish individuals (no difference there either) to such an extent that J.
