Some More “Guilty Men”

Jeff Randall mentions in passing some more Guilty Men that Peter Oborne missed in his fast-selling pamphlet for the CPS, namely the authors of an earlier pamphlet published in 2002 “Why Britain Should Join The Euro” written by Richard Layard (LSE), Willem Buiter (ex-BoE MPC and eurocrat), Chris Huhne, Will Hutton, Peter Kenen (the Princeton University academic famous ironically for his work on optimum currency areas ) and Adair Turner. In this nonsense filled pamphlet for Britain in Europe they asserted:

“Opponents of the euro have forecast disasters which have in fact never happened and which always looked most unlikely… Euro-sceptics constantly underestimated the competence of Europeans and their ability to organise things properly.”

These Guilty Men are not the types to apologise. It is remarkable that Will Hutton, Chris Huhne and Adair Turner are now prominent tub-thumpers for carbon based global warming. Demonstrating, once again, their characteristic quality of  judgement.

Depressingly Cameron does another U turn on Europe. He has even disappointed Lie Dumbs for not supporting action to close Strasburg. Instead of Eurocrats sitting in Brussels they also sit in a building in Strasburg, now and again, that cost about £450 million to build but is empty for nine months of the year. The traveling costs are about £150 million year. Short of money, yeah right. Cameron is reported that he did not want to upset the French. I presume because the effing idiot needs to land out planes on their carriers instead of retaining an independent security military for the country-twat.

Another terrorist let free under HRA. A judge blocked moves to kick him out of Britain on human rights grounds. Ismail Abdurahman, 28, was released after just three years behind bars for helping a 21/7 bomb plotter. He should be booted out and sent back to Somalia. How on earth does the UK get so many asylum seekers from Somalia? There are many countries in between, soft touch UK where welfare is freely given to all- while pensioners suffer.

Health service still freely given to all, especially Eastern Europeans, who come here to visit relatives and receive cheap health care and prescriptions before returning home. Wake up Coalition FFS, it’s embarrassing let alone costly.

Is this what Clegg thinks the HRA was created to do??? He distorted history through his speech about the purpose of the HRA. He also needs to remember what he said before the election:
“all nations have a cross to bear, and none more so than Germany with its memories of Nazism. But the British cross is more insidious still. A misplaced sense of superiority, sustained by delusions of grandeur and a tenacious obsession with the last war, is much harder to shake off”.[38][39] The article was dusted down during the 2010 General Election campaign when the Daily Mail interpreted the article as being a “Nazi slur on Britain” . Wipe Lie Dumbs off the political map.

Guidance from the broadcaster’s ethics specialists suggested that the modern phrases “common era” and “before common era” should be considered as potential replacements for Anno Domini and Before Christ.

I propose that the BBC uses Commonly Understood New Time as it fits the organisation well

That’s right Billy. Hutton’s think tank “Work Foundation” went bust under his leadership. He also wrote a book called “The State We’re In” in the year before the 1997 general election which basically outlined the Left Wing fairy tale that the Tory economic policy f*cked up the economy in the late 80s, early 90s.

Hutton is about as credible as Vince Cable as an economic sage, yet both the BBC and Sky keep using him to pontificate on the economy.

Will Hutton – Sociology and Economics at the University of Bristol
Chris Huhne – At Oxford, he simplified his name to “Chris Huhne”.
His education continued at the Sorbonne, where he obtained a certificate in French Language and Civilisation, and Magdalen College, Oxford where he was a scholar (Demy). At Oxford, he edited the student magazine Isis, served on the executive of the Oxford University Labour Club, and achieved a first-class degree in PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics). Huhne was active in student politics supporting the Labour Party.
Adair Turner – studied History and Economics at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge

    Steve Miliband says:

All you need to know about Ed Cooper/Balls

We were accused of charging our wedding guests, but that’s unfair.

The Eastbourne hotel said, ‘The normal room rate for a weekend off-season would be £50 a night bed and breakfast – but given that you’re going to have the whole wedding here, we’ll reduce the price to £20.’ We said, ‘Well, in that case, the reasonable thing for us to do is to reduce the room rate to £29 for guests and use the other £9 to help us pay for this expensive wedding.’ We sold all the rooms. We were hard up and we had to make it work. I don’t regret it for a second.

Dispatches uncovers Blair's dirty earnings says:

Channel 4 tonight at 8, Dispatches: The Wonderful World Of Tony Blair (deliberately sarcastic title in case anyone thinks it’s a hagiography) investigates the millions he’s made since leaving office and whether he’s being transparent about his earnings.

Well done to Channel 4 for doing this. That’s one of the benefits of a commercial broadcaster. The bbc would never ever do an investigation into Blair’s blood money.

Andrew Pierce on Ed Balls…

“Porky Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls sweet-talked guests at a fund-raising dinner by saying if he wasn’t a politician, he would be a chef. That’s not surprising, since he was accused of cooking the Treasury books when he was Gordon Brown’s boot boy.”

magic_otter says:

is there anyone in the world that Tony hasnt screwed in some way?
