Vicky Pryce Not Happy With Huhne
Her Lawyer Releases New Statement

Vicky Pryce has just released this statement via her lawyers

“I am surprised that my ex-husband considers it appropriate to talk at a public meeting about the very private aspects of our family life. I do not intend to comment on his interview or its accuracy. However, I consider, particularly given the setting of where he was, that what he said is a serious intrusion into mine and our family’s private life.”

Psycho Huhne strikes again…

Now that you are out of my life,
            I’m so much better,
You thought that I’d be weak without ya,
            But I’m stronger,
You thought that I’d be broke without ya,
            But I’m richer,
You thought that I’d be sad without ya,
            I laugh harder,
You thought I wouldn’t grow without ya,
            Now I’m wiser,
You thought that I’d be helpless without ya,
            But I’m smarter,
You thought that I’d be stressed without ya,
            But I’m chillin’
You thought I wouldn’t sell without ya,
            Sold nine million.

            [Chorus]
            I’m a survivor (what),
I’m not gonna give up (what),
            I’m not gon’ stop (what),
            I’m gonna work harder (what),
            I’m a survivor (what),
            I’m gonna make it (what),
            I will survive (what),
            Keep on survivin’ (what),
            I’m a survivor (what),

            I will survive (what),
            Keep on survivin’ (what).

            (Verse 2)
Thought I couldn’t breathe without you,
            I’m inhalin’
You thought I couldn’t see without you,
            Perfect vision,
You thought I couldn’t last without ya,
            But I’m lastin’
You thought that I would die without ya,
            But I’m livin’
Thought that I would fail without ya,
            But I’m on top,
Though it would be over by now,
            But it won’t stop,
You thought that I would self-destruct,
            But I’m still here,
Even in my years to come,
            I’m still gon’ be here.

            [Chorus]

            Pray that you are blessed,
Much success, no stress, and lots of happiness,

I’m not gonna hate you in the magazine,
            (I’m better than that)
I’m not gonna compromise my Christianity,
            (I’m better than that)
You know I’m not gonna diss you on the Internet
Cause my momma told me better than that.

            [Chorus]
            I’m a survivor (what),

        Amounderness Lad says:

You’re probably right, Voice of Reason, and that is why he is spouting off about having begged for forgiveness and his ex-wife being so cruel and nasty towards him that she refused to do it.

Yes, he’s being pathetic and playing the Sympathy Card but not only for the benefit of either his audience or us, the general public. His pityful blubbering ws being done mainly for the benefit of the CPS. He is obviously hopingto convince them that any information given by his ex-wife is nothing more than nasty, vindictive lies given by a spiteful, vengeful woman suffering under the delusion of being terribly wronged and willing to go to any lengths to cause him harm.

The real tragedy is that the poor deluded fool actually believes we might just believe him.

Well, not a chance, he is simply proving to all of us that he will go to any lengths and trample on absolutely anybody to safe his own pathetic skin in order to further his own place in politics. The man is an insufferable scoundrel and the CPS should get on with annoyncing their decision and stop dragging their feet or prove themselves to be exactly what we know they are, weak, ineffective wimps frightened of their own shadows.

        Jonathan says:

Quite frankly I am as sick of Huhne’s ex-wife as I am of him. Like him, she is a self publicist and out for what she can get. Having started the hare, she was very backward in coming forward to support her allegations. Some lame excuse about not upsetting her son who was taking his A Levels? Oh, please! So, let’s either have a prosecution of Huhne asap or drop the whole business. Mind you, if we do, will it be worth it – given the pathetic amount of time those MPs convicted of fraud have served in prison. Sometimes I think the Russians had the right idea in 1918, forget the niceties of a trial, down to a cellar in the middle of the night, and shoot them.

Room mate?? You are obviously not taking into consideration that he is a politicon & as such he will, if prosecuted, found guilty & given a prison sentence, spend the time in a open prison with a room to himself & replete with TV,computer, dvd player, phone etc etc.
The obvious delaying tactics by the CPS & the fact that he has still not been charged lead me to think he will escape the whole thing.

Then throw in the IMF’s warning that the banks are teetering on the brink once more; and the Bank of England’s wheedling to start up the printing presses again.
Phew! What a relief that we’ve got prudent, steady hands like Huhne in charge of energy, Osborne the Treasury and Cameron the country.

Gordon Brown’s backroom boys when Labour was failing to balance the books, failing to regulate the financial markets, and failing to take on the banks. This is no time for the backroom boys”

Billy Bowden is the greatest umpire ever ! says:

Osborne is now on life support (Please somebody, pull the plug)

The latest IMF forecasts for the UK economy are devastating. Since January, only 8 months ago, the IMF prediction for UK growth this year has almost halved, from 2% to just 1.1%. That is profoundly worrying when it represents a cutback in expected UK output this year of some £14bn, but perhaps still not bad enough to fit the facts. The so-called global recovery from the 2008-9 crash has now stalled, and the big 3 economies – US, Eurozone, UK – are now not heading up, not even levelling out, but slipping back. UK growth in the last 3 quarters has already been a negligible 0.2%, and the latest collapse of demand as registered on the High Street may well produce a negative annual figure when the next quarter’s results are known next month. The evidence for this lies in the IMF’s latest mark-down for the UK economy, a cutback of almost a third from 1.5% to 1.1% in the last 3 months alone. What it all adds up to is that the UK is sliding into a second (double-dip) recession. So what should be done?

Tom Harris bemoans the public’s attitude to politicians…

“Mr Oborne echoes the lazy, anti-politics whine we hear so often these days, all based on the absurd notion that politicians were once loved and only fell out of public favour during the expenses scandal. He should take a walk to the Strangers’ Bar. But not to sup with the patrons he seems to despise so much, dearie me, no; he should instead look at the paintings on the corridor outside the bar, which depict the devastating fire which consumed most of the Palace in 1834. And he should reflect on the fact that on that dramatic night, as the Commons went up in flames, a crowd gathered on the South Bank to clap and cheer.”
