Guido heard this morning that some Metropolitan Police officers were making noise to the organisers of tomorrow’s Sun Police Bravery Awards about a certain name on the guest-list. Threats were made to boycott the black-tie Savoy extravaganza, if a certain red-haired hate-figure who was planning on going.

Sources now confirm that Rebekah Brooks will not be in attendance, having originally been on the list. Though Guido doubts it will be very long before she gets to spend some time with the old bill again…
