Huhne’s No Tarzan
Chris Huhne’s posturing at Cabinet has been well reported elsewhere. Apparently he cares so much about the AV campaign that he openly challenged the Prime Minister at Cabinet. He then fully briefed hacks within minutes that he’d done so.
He certainly seems wound up, and there is even speculation that he could walk on Friday when the LibDems are decimated locally and in all likelihood the “Yes to AV” Campaign is defeated. This anger feels fake to Guido though. Perhaps Huhne’s mistress, Carina Trimingham. who is on the “Yes to AV” campaign, has him on a Lysistrata-like no-win-no-lay policy.

There wouldn’t be much love lost if the manoeuvring Huhne did walk. It would solve the where to put David Laws problem in one. Though Huhne could stir from the backbenches, he should remember that Helseltine was actually popular and liked before he wielded his knife. And he had better hair too…

But Huhne is unpopular and disliked so it’s a double whammy – and horrible hair.
huhne = hoon
cameron = asshole
Pakistan’s leadership should be supported because it is in the UK’s interests to aid “democratic forces” in the country, David Cameron has said.
The PM’s comment came as he prepared to tell MPs about the killing of Osama Bin Laden by US special forces in Pakistan.
Mr Cameron said it would be wrong to “walk away” from Pakistan and have a “nuclear power in danger of massive extremism”.
US officials said Bin Laden must have had a “support system” in Pakistan.
First of all Huhne does not understand his brief on energy and the country is heading for trouble. He should not be given a choice, he should be sacked.
Secondly, Laws should be in jail by now if there was an effective criminal justice system, or by Obama’s current standards executed without trial.
Finally let’s wipe the Lib Dems off the map; vote UKIP and give them all a kick they deserve.
The doors are wide open for UK terrorists attacks- Blair’s mass immigration policy. WikLeaks suggests diplomats call the UK “Londistan”. What is Cameron and Clegg doing? A big fat nothing. Lots of talk no action. Clueless duo.
+1
The real ideological battle in this country is between the common sense nationalism of UKIP and the loony left green/red madness of Huhne and the Green party.
I fear common sense is losing and this country is heading down the pan.
+1
Please please PLEASE let Huhne walk out of cabinet. Please let him quit.
Then we might (maybe possibly) actually get a climate realist as energy secretary. Someone who could actually look into REAL alternative energy systems, but also bite the bullet and build loads of new coal, gas and a few nuclear power stations, just in case.
Windmills can never, will never ever replace coal, gas or even nuclear as a means to generate power.
Huhne shouldn’t be allowed to resign from the cabinet – HE SHOULD BE SACKED IMMEDIATELY!
I hope Cameron sacks him before Friday!
Always thought Huhne was emotionally unstable. Throwing his toys out of the pram when he’s on the wrong side of an argument and shooting his mouth off without first engaging brain.
He’s also a hypocrite of the first order, whinging about perceived inaccurracies and untruths in competitors’ election literature whilst he does the same thing. Remember the General Election when his campaign literature presented him as a happily married family man when at that time he was shagging that lesbian hag from the Electoral Reform Society?
Still, playing the dirtiest of games during election campaigns is standard LibDem behaviour.
Anyone for “the straight choice”?
sack him – the man is a disgrace – he is planning a leadership challenge – he cannot be trusted
A politician that can’t be trusted?
Hmmm… Who’d a guessed it…
As he is a multi millionaire then he won’t be worried by giving up his minister’s pay. He’s already had to give in over nuclear power so he probably won’t miss the job. Hew wants to be the chief liberal so I reckon he will walk, although I detect there are many on either side of the coalition who would gladly kick him out.

On the subject of your moniker, have you seen any pictures of the German politician, Julia Bonk? Could not stand in the UK, of course, but I would put my mark into her box.

Leaves Hattie Manhater-Harperson in the shade don’t you think?
Sorry, slight cock-up there – try pic no 20.
Does she spit or swallow?
Mein Gott! Who cares?
At least he made it himself, unlike others like, Cameron, Osborne, Clegg, etc.
Thanks Carina. Keep up the good work but can’t you think of a better name than anonymous?
Are you sure about that? He’s a public school educated son of a “businessman”.
Before embarking on his political career, he was a City entrepreneur. He told The Independent in 2008: “I don’t claim that I’m in other than a very happy position compared with most people, because, having spent a bit of time in the City before I was elected, being able to make a bit of money while I was there, I have a cushion.” [11][12] He started a company named Sovereign Ratings IBCA in 1994 that tried to “scientifically measure the risks of investing in different countries”.[11] In 1997 he became managing director of Fitch IBCA, and from 1999 to 2003 was vice-chairman of Fitch Ratings.[11]
Because wikipedia biographies are *never* written by the subject or his pals, right? Especially not political ones.
On 6/5/2011, Clegg will resign as LD party leader, then funfair starts. This is the only reason I will vote no to AV.
I think the odds are pretty long on that prediction!
Just look at the odds in a betting shop, its narrowing by the minute. No Clegg as leader of LD no PM Cameron.
He is popular than Clegg and trusted by more people than Cameron or Osborne.
Whatever you are on I suggest you get off it now before your brain is premanently damaged.
Are you all afraid of the next general election?
It’s Gordon who is afraid of elections.
Why don’t we have one? Chickens. Do you like sharing power with LDs?
We had one last year and you lost – tosser
Your master didn’t win it either, lackey. In other words your master lost it you fool that why he is in government with LDs.
Not my master – I voted UKIP – just trying to state the obvious. There is no need to have another election when we just had a perfectly good one – that is EU tactics where they keep revoting until the EU preference prevails
The coalition love-in is over after Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg admitted that relations between Tories and the Lib Dems are ‘going to be different from now on’ as ill feeling over AV tactics spills over.
Nick Clegg said today that the referendum on voting reform would change the nature of the coalition, regardless of the outcome.
He said the poll will mark the end of the ‘first phase’ of the Conservative/Lib Dem coalition and would allow parties to express their differences more openly.
I thought that was the Mace hence the nick name Tarzan
Third! But I come first under AV!
Good on yuh old cock
Is he still living with that rug muncher then, I thought they had seperated withing weeks of their exposure.
He is not a serial bonker like old Boris is he (sorry to use a Murdoch expression)
Huhne by name, Huhne by nature…..
As a point of principle, you need a magnifying glass for this one.
Sums up the pomposity of the man perfectly.
He’s crapping because No AV means No Huhne in Eastleigh next time round. he he he
I shall be backing Chris Huhne, whatever he decides to do. He and I have a lot in common.
What, bonkers?
No Deviants.
Hopefully the No No plan will win. Otherwise it will be years of coalition government
and continuous in-fighting like this. No time to govern plenty of time for hype+spin.
Leading to an ungovernable nation, just take a look at Germany with a 3 party Government and a parliament with over 6 different parties. Left..Right Greens Liberals and a couple more for fun.
And which is the industrial powerhouse of the EU England or Germany?
Thanks to Heath and the decision taken years ago to strip other nations of their manufacturing base and have them rely on Germany as the industrial base of Europe.
All part of the long term single federal European superstate plan from when the treaty of Rome was signed.
Each country would have to be managed to remove any capability of self reliance. Every state has to be utterly dependent on all the others to prevent break-up.
Lol, the EU is a collapsing house of cards and the Germans are holding huge amounts of the combined debt. Spains next for the ‘industrial powerhouse’ to bail. I hope you have lots and lots of pretty Euros for your feckless ‘partners’ Nemo. You are going to need them.
he really should be a labour MP with his “i’ve lost so i am going to stamp my feet and call everyone nazis and other nasty names because i cannot actually win a rational argument” approach.
i have never actually heard anything of use or import come out of him on policies or the nation, only ever studentesque overly political crap.
Dodgy Dave was going to hold back on the AV vote but changed his mind (or had his mind made up for him by his right wingers making threats) and supports the NOtoAV
What a complete Hoon
And a complete CUNΤ
+1.
let the fucker walk then. Good fucking riddance.
And let him take Cable with him.
Hughes, Huhne and Cable, what a team, what an inspiration! I doubt they could get 5% of the vote. The Lib-Dim’s are screwed if they do and screwed if they don’t. For the sandle weavers collective, the war, is well and truly, over.
He will do whatever I tell him to.
If he does walk, there will be some other Huhne to fill the void of obnoxious, ignorant, egotistical tosshead. Politics seems to be full of them.
I have never heard a definitive denial the Huhne has no vested interest in wind generators at all.
Nobody is stupid enough to believe that windfarms are anything other than a massive money making scam. Somewhere in there has got to be financial benefit, for our Huhne’s Huhne.
His ex-wife isn’t saying much. I wonder if he’s taken out a super-injunction to stop her telling the world what a shit he is.
Hmmmmm ……….. Leading “No to AV” supporter ………… superinjunction ………………. absolute twat ………………. may well resign from cabinet (to avoid truths coming out, possibly?) *rubs chin ponderously*
Christ. That was meant to say “Yes to AV”. I’m getting confused with all this AV bollox now.
Dave should have thrown him out of the cabinet meeting as soon as he started throwing his toys out of the pram. At least Osborne told him to fuck off
I got the impression that he was rather enjoying lording it over everyone at the Department of/for? Energy. He is making a complete horlicks of the renewables strategy but since that involves handing out wads of taxpayers’ cash to rather dodgy “business men” flogging inappropriate technology to the gullible, perhaps that’s not a bad thing. I would hate to have someone competent in charge.
I have to agree. There are many advantages in having someone who is incompetent running the green project.
Please, use the word Melon, not green.
Green on the outside, commie red on the inside, watermelon is the most apt descriptor there is for those nutters.
We are going to reduce our carbon ‘footprint’ by er, um, well shutting 80% of everything down. We will call it ‘sustainable progress’.
Keep an eye out for “smart-meters”.
These are handy little devices for shutting the power off whether you want them to or not.
“…and there is even speculation that he could walk on Friday…”
We live in hope.
Mr Crusoe will not allow it.
…Off the white cliffs of Dover
Going into Coalition with the Conservatives seriously pissed off the Lefty Lib Dems.
Cable, Hoon and Farron’s fawning to the left has seriously pissed off the Right of the Lib Dems.
Hoon being eventually forced to taylor his energy policy according to the facts of life is going to get rid of the tree huggers and bearded barefoot sandalistas.
They will all be equally to blame when the results come out; excepting Clegg who tried to turn the Lib Dems into a party of Government but has been thwarted by the inherent political deathwish of his colleagues.
Having listened to Clegg patiently and sensibly dealing with the bbc dickheads on the Toady show this morning, it makes you wonder how he got involved with a bunch of sleazy opportunists like the limpdims in the first place. They really are the nasty party.
exactly. I really like Nick Clegg – it’s the rest of the lib dems i have a problem with.
That’s it, we are packing our bags carry on without us remember Davey is locked into 5 years we will back him if we like his policies but will vote against him if we don’t, besides Davy will have his shield removed, we should never have got in to bed with the Tories and retained our independence.
I agree. Clegg is a straight talker and has done a very good jo as the deputy PM. I certainly trust him more than I do Cameron. Most of all he does not bullshit or spin.
Huhne is a despicably little t@e-rag who needs slapping down. Not only does he talk a load of bull sh@t, he looks like it too.
I wish he would p*ss off and take old slap head Cable withy him. Pair of feckin idiots!
+1
ps – is there any truth in the rumour that Cameron has a picture of Huhne’s Mistress and at next Cabinet meeting will ask him ‘can you justify this?’
get rid of Hoon – so much going on in the world with terror alerts sky high and he feels the need to waft a student leaflet in front of the PM – he has breached Cabinet secrecy, has a vested interest, cheated on his wife and is a tosser. End of.
Worst of all, I suggest, is his complete, malevolent incompetence as Energy Minister. Huhne’s ridiculous woolly-jumper, weirdie-beardie prejudices in this area will cause thousand of deaths from hypothermia as well as economic death for the nation in a few years’s time, if he isn’t given his marching orders soon.
the way he is wittering on about AV, appearing on TV moaning and complaining and putting his mitigation out already, i’d be very surprised indeed if he has been doing anything else for the last couiple of months.
Don’t worry. the Big society will bring you round a big old sleeping bag.
If we have to endure another December like the last one, in about 10 years time, then we will need more than a sleeping bag.
When the windmills froze solid and produced no electricity at all for weeks. And the few that were kept working used more energy to keep their gears warm, than they actually produced and therefore created a loss of energy, there will be hundreds of thousands, if not up to a couple of million old and young people die from hypothermia.
Climate change is not responsible for that. Human egotistical stupidity is!
Froze solid? I wasnt aware they were full of water.
We’re all doomed then.
They don’t freeze solid because they contain heaters, suing electricity generated by good ol’ fossil fuels.
Have you got a link for such a thing? I could believe that they have got heaters for some very peculiar conditions, but would equally imagine that they don’t often get water onto the gears very often.
The rest of it sounds like a load of ridiculous scaremongering too.
Even with heaters they froze solid in Canada last winter.
We don’t have as severe winters as the Canadians, though we do have weather conditions that mean that under certain circumstances extreme cold or warm fronts settled over the UK means there is not enough wind to power any of them, for on average 37 days a year.
Of course the power generating companies don’t care about that, as they still get subsidy payment for them, working or not, kerrching!!
End user pays again.
Client State (6million in public sector + millions on benefits + relatives of these 2 groups) + AV + Postal Voting + Missing Voters Regsiters = Permanent Labour Rule = Economic Decline
PS 100.1% of postal votes so far in favour of AV
PS2 BBC is in favour of AV because Permanent Labour Rule means higher funding settlements for it
PS3 Guardian is in favour of AV because it wants and needs the revenue from all those public sector job ads that labour used to channel to it in order to get favourable coverage
Perhaps Huhne’s mistress, Carina Trimingham. who is on the Yes campaign, has him on a no-win-no-lay policy.
Many would see that as an incentive to lose!
America! Fuck yeah!
The sooner this complete fucking arsehole is gone from Cabinet, the better.
The man is the biggest fucking smeg-ridden fucking bellend in politics (apart from Balls. And Special Ed).
He will go down in History
Come on, don’t mince words – do you like the chap?
Farewell gift to Huhne
A mirror
He knows he’s going to lose the AV vote so he’s scrabbling round trying to pin the blame for losing on anyone but himself.
We are preparing a Vault ” To the Unknown Huhne”
The Limp-Dems have got away with talking bollocks for years because the spot light was never put on their Looney-Left policies. Vince Cable had the BBC fooled for years.
Now after they get what they always wanted ( coalition government ) the whole country can see what a useless bunch of cry babies they are.

We always thought we’d just have to sit here looking smug and self-righteous, and everything would sort itself out. We didn’t realise we’d have to, you know, do stuff.
Can’t even spell Bedwetting. That’s how shit we are.
If he goes can he take that idiot Cable with him. Perhaps they could form the fuck all use to anyone party. The rest of the Lib dims can walk the floor too, except Clegg, who has taken his head out of the clouds, grown a spine and decided to participate in politics of the real world for a change.
Huhne can shove his AV!
+ 1
D. Alexandra seems to grasp real politics too, unlike that other hoon simon ‘the wrong un’ hughes
Dear Mr. Huhne
We hear you may be looking for a bolt hole. We have a nice compounded villa in need of some tidying up. Garden needs attention but plenty of bonemeal fertilizer available.
Boo hoo!
Huhne might return to his constituency and prepare – to what?
No, he’ll hang on in, because if a tactic to become leader a NuLib Dem party with half a dozen seats in the Commons he would be even more irrelevant than he is now.
Chop off ‘is knob !!
i’m lost
strewth!
Lynne Featherstone should be in the cabinet IMHO. I likes her, she talks straight, is her own woman and has vast experience in the real world before she became an MP.
She already is in the cabinet. Agreed on everything else you said. She also gives me the horn.
She’s not a cabinet Minister
So a gobshite like Huhne walks to become Lib Dem leader in waiting & we get the thief David Laws?
Is there no end to the pool of talented thiefs & small time opportunists in this Coalition?
What ever happened to the Tory Party – in bed with this lot, led by a Heathite no principled clone like rusty Dave?
Petrol & taxes at an all time high in the UK, cuts at home to pay for the heir to Blairs new vanity war & his President Van Rompuy.
As ever with Dave Cameron – Britain & the British are put in second place.
When will the real Conservative Party stop this & get rid of him?
After UKIP splits the party for you?
Continuity Blue Labour out
Is it too late for me to be a Labour MP?
We thought you were? You’ve murdered enough people to be one. What are you like on expenses?

WHITE HOUSE TO RELEASE BIN LADEN DEATH PHOTO
Tue May 03 2011 10:22:50 ET
President Obama decided Tuesday morning to release at least one photo showing Osama Bin Laden’s death, a top source claims.
The images, being described as ‘graphic’, are bound to stir emotions in the east and the west, and will likely become the most viewed photographs in modern history.
One image shows a bullet wound to his head above his left eye.
Will it remove all doubt about the death?
The exact timing on the release is being debated.
