      Work this one out.

FPTP claims that those that vote are a perfect representation of the all the voters i.e. those that vote and those that don’t.

AV claims to be more representative than FPTP.

Has anyone checked to see if sample (those that vote) does represent the universe (both voters and non-voters)?

Since I haven’t seen anything along those lines. I have to conclude its all a load of s*hite. But I may be wrong.

Just read that, like Paddy Ashdown, Nigel Farage was also in the special forces? I never knew that!

    Greychatter says:

Never really know what Lib Dems stand for! apart from previously being used by some as the protest vote. Now they get a battering from both extremes.

It’s like Conservatives are Male – Labour are Female – and Lib/Dems are in the Middle – looking both ways whichever direction is to their advantage.

    Rat's arse says:

Lib Dumbs are tossers of the first water and always seem to attract Jaysus sandal wearers, peeeeeeedos, politically correct ars@h@les and the general riff-raff of humanity. Glad I’ve got that off me chest!

    The Observer says:

I used to admire Paddy with his 1000 yard square and no nonsense approach.
But now he is older and definately less wise. Perhaps this happens with politicians that are no longer in mainstream politics?
Limp Dems certainly have show with Cable et al that they believe in double standards and of looking after themselves – bugger the country.

    The Observer says:

Should have been “stare”, but “square” is Freudian
