Solidarity

If you were wondering why new Shadow Foreign Secretary wee Dougie Alexander was so quiet today, a quick peek at the Socialist International website will show you why. The Labour Party are affiliated with Mubarak’s hopefully outgoing National Democratic Party.

Awkward...

For the last 30 years, Mubarak’s Egypt has taken $2Bn per year from the USA as a ‘bribe’ not to fight against Israel.
Obama & Co must be crapping themselves about what will happen if the mob wins.
And Israel must also be crapping itself for exactly the same reason.

          • Grumpy Old Man says:

I’ve been to Egypt. The last time I went to a jobcentre, it was called a Labour Exchange. The Name was changed because Labour Wasn’t Working – that hasn’t changed.

Can’t fault you on that, GOM.

Jobcentres (or Jobcentre +) are simply exchanges for ticks-in-boxes and benefits.

A week under the stewardship of a Sharm El-Sheik street hawker would teach the unemployed more than a lifetime “looked-after” by the superlatively ironically-named DWP.

Labour’s electoral methods share much with the ribbon of countries lining the South Mediterranean shore: postal votes where the woman gets the hubby’s fist plated in her face as he removes the form from her hands, bloc votes by dodgy middle Eastern religions, father to son passing of parliamentary seats, the list goes on: no wonder the loved Mubarak.

And look how much money bliar’s made out of the middle east since.

gordon ‘ madasahatter’ brown trashed our economy with his kidlike belief in spending the nation’s credit card up the max, and balls our very own shadow chancellor, was right there beside him egging him on.

Then there was dear edmilitwit , brown’s environment minister sucking up to the IPCC’s troughing, 5 star pachauri and highly paid jones ‘I’ve lost all my data’ of the UEA , wittering on about global warming which we now know has not been the case for at least 15 years!!!

Oh and what about prezza, apart from his total lack of morals, he spent his entire cabinet experience trying to destroy rural communities and build over agricultural land. ‘Lovely man’!!

Nope I don’t think 13 years of labour gave us a single benefit worth having. And on their shocking past record of lies , in fighting, back stabbing, smearing and in gordon’s ,case utter cowardice, and as is always the case with a coward violent bullying,I would never vote for them.

And I think the juries out on whether the coalition can do anything to repair the damage labour has done to society and to the country’s economics.

The damage labour has inflicted upon us over 13 years is so deep and so great , 9 months is to early to judge.

For fuck’s sake, nell, are you capable of lightening up for even one minute? Ed Balls IS a c unt but do you have to turn every single post, no matter how unrelated, into another of your rhetorical comments? What a joyless life you must lead. When you go shopping and someone asks “Can I be of any assistance?”, you probably say “No assistance to anyone, that’s what Labour are!” Or if someone asks you the time, you say “Socialists have taken over time and are changing it to fit with the Cuban timezone”.

Britain now looks as if it is headed back into recession on fear about the damage that will be done by massive spending cuts and tax increases, which haven’t even gone into effect yet. Government ministers with their talk of austerity have already smashed confidence.’

Dack, I shouldn’t take much notice of David Blanchflower. He’s ALWAYS spreading doom and gloom about the economy. He was effing useless on the B of E’s monetary committee, always out of step with the rest of his colleagues. He’s the economist the Beeb and Channel 4 always interview because they know he will slag off the government. Pity he didn’t slag off Gordon Brown’s monetary policies when he was bankrupting the country.

To me any party that includes the word Democratic in its name is already highly suspect to say the least. As I am sure most of you can remember a country that went by the name of The German Democratic Republic.

To me any party that includes the word Socialist in its name is already highly suspect, to say the least. As I am sure most of you can remember a country that went by the name of The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

We should of course now be highly worried about any political party which includes the word Conservative.

If political parties where honest institutions, which they are not, and never have been, they would have names such as the following.

    The Establishments Blue Fascist Party.

    The Establishments Red Fascist Party.

    The Establishments Yellow Fascist Party.

They could of course all call themselves Communist, or New World Order party’s which would not be incorrect, however fascist will do just as well, as long as they all call themselves the same thing, and only change the colour prefix.

Of course if they were really being honest they could all cut the crap, and become simply THE PARTY, and we would finally known where we have all long since been standing.

Which, as we can I hope all surely see, is way over our necks, in a fast moving creek, without, voice, boat, life-jacket, paddle, or prayer.

I see that Mubarak is using the same line that Brown always used, ie that when he sees people telling him he’s an evil fuckwit that was never elected and who’s destroyed the country and who must go right now, he says “what’s that you say? you’re telling me that I’m an economic and political genius that you want to stay in power forever? ok then, i’ll stay. The people have spoken. They say that I am the only person in the universe who is capable of running this country, and everybody loves me and wants me to stay here forever.”

When Brown ousted a democratically elected PM without a single vote being cast, assumed power/control of the country and then proceded to destroy it, we should have done the same thing the Egyptians are doing now. The fact that we didn’t do that means that we all bear responsiblity for the shit state that our country is now in. Brown’s head should have been hanging from a fucking spike at the entrance to Downing Street when he’d originally achieved his coup, the fact that it wasn’t means we’re all guilty of allowing a mad idiotic dictator and his media arm (the BBC) to take power and destroy the country.

oh, hang on, that’s the AV system where we never get a proper government again. cool; i’ll vote for AV then in the referendum, that way even the person who I specifically vote against will be counted as someone I voted for.
