They Huffed and Puffed, Coulson Still Standing

With the news that the CPS won’t prosecute Andy Coulson, on the grounds of lack of admissable evidence, it looks like Coulson will stay in Downing Street as long as he wants, despite whatever the Guardian, New York Times, BBC and Labour will throw at him.

Coulson is as guilty as sin of condoning the News of the World culture, nevertheless it was pretty clear that unless documentary evidence was produced there would be no charges against Coulson. What has been a politically motivated attack by enemies of the Murdoch press was bound to fail without a smoking gun, however much they huffed and puffed.

It has played out pretty much as Guido predicted last year (see Coulson’s Guilt). Punters now give Coulson a 96% chance of surviving…

“I don’t see the BBC as a State broadcaster. “I think people see the BBC as operating at arms length from the government and it’s very important that it should continue to do so and that’s why we’ve said we will protect the BBC charter.”

          • Same old shit from the sam old shitters says:

Why do sad wankers keep reposting that drivel Cameron has spouted about the BBC? He’s a fucking politician! that means he talks complete bollocks in public most of the time, especially when giving an answer to a question he didn’t want to be asked.

The media landscape has changed dramatically since the Tories were last in power. Digital TV and the expansion of multi-channel TV and internet services, means that content can easily be put behind a paywall if people don’t buy it. If you don’t pay for the BBC wankers their content can easily be blocked.

The NAO are going down there soon and you’ll find that fraud and corruption on a wide scale, can seriously damage an organisation’s reputation and there will be a sudden duty for the government to “reform” them. By far the best way to deal with the BBC, it gives the government a proper reason, other than a plain political assault.

Cameron didn’t want a majority as that would have meant he would have had to be a Conservative Leader instead of the Liberal Democrat Heir to Blair.

However, I am still struggling with why I am still compelled to fund, albeit uniquely, the remaining one, bearing in mind a commitment to impartiality… and accuracy… which most of the time belies their revenue and stated commitments.

    Atlas shrugged says:

Good point Guido, however you are at least sometimes guilty of allowing wishful thinking to get in the way of the more rational variety.

In this regard the profane left make the same mistakes as the profane right, time and time again. It is one thing to be wrong for the reasons of dishonestly propagating propaganda, is quite a different matter if you have any hard cash or liberty riding on the actual TRUTH.

This is why the betting fraternity have a better record on correctly predicting results then do politicians, or indeed the polling companies that work for the same people as the politicians do.

This is also why the leader of the NUS says he believes that his troops have fatally harmed the future longevity of our present government, made a worthwhile point, and improved their own standing in society as a whole, when the exact opposite is clearly the case.

I do not believe for one moment that he believes that what he claims to be true is so. The leader of the NUS is a budding wannabe LABOUR politician therefore he needs to practice his delusional bullshit as early and as often as possible.

We on the other hand have an interest in actually knowing things and acting on this knowledge in our own interests, as well for that of our fellow beings if at all possible.

    In conclusion.

We must understand that what is in the interest of politicians is very often or indeed always in direct opposition to that of ourselves, as well even more especially those who the politician claims to represent, in this case students.

Our own leaders are generally more dangerous to our own interests then leaders we are conned into believing are in opposition to them.

    For example.

Cameron and his crew, will without doubt fuck the middle classes more then the lower classes. As Labour most clearly fucked the lower-classes almost infinitely more then they fucked the middle classes. While of course the very small amount of our worlds ruling classes, carry on forever metaphorically laughing all the way to the Leeds and back again, whoever is believed to be running the show.

Cameron has only apparently been in power for a few months, however he has already given the middle class higher tuition fees, increased their taxation, while taking away their child benefits. Look forward to much more of this kind of thing over the next 4 and a half years. He will say he has no choice other then to do so, which is clearly not a complete lie, but that is not the point.

My entire extended family have always voted Conservative for this exact reason. We all consider ourselves to be working class. My grandmother for example (101) voted Conservative all of her life, and NEVER considered voting for any other party. She worked for 50 years as a dinner lady for Merton Council. She always voted, as well as always voted Conservative even though she hated, when not also despising and never trusting every Conservative or otherwise politician without exception.

The working or lower middle classes were smarter, and certainly better educated 50 years ago then they are now, thanks in no small part to mainly the actions of LABOUR governments. The middle classes work harder for ever less, thanks in no small part to mainly the actions of Conservative ones.

Think about it people, and you will KNOW it makes perfect sense.

The next thing would be to work out why this is so?

I know these things are always easy in hindsight, but a couple of questions for the royal security plod.

The car in which they were travelling had massive great windows at the back…and the royal couple were illuminated by an interior light. All fine and dandy when they want to be seen by their adoring public, not so fine when there are marauding anarchist scuzbuckets attacking the car. One of the windows at the back was “accidentally opened” yet there is an armed officer in the front of the car..why is there not some sort of panic button he can press which automatically shuts the windows, locks the doors and switches off the interior lights? (and yes the auto locks could be disabled from the back in case the passengers have to beat a swift retreat)

I’d also like to suggest the south african trick of having flame throwers under the car which vapourise anyone attempting an attack…but I’m not sure that would go down to well with our current “soft on crime, soft on the causes of crime” Hush Puppy salesman.

The Guardian and Independent writer’s apology added insult to injury. He blamed police then said the cenotaph represented 1000s of wardead instead of the millions.

On twitter he denied it was him but suggested the person was probably on acid. Perhaps that was the only true statement he made.

The poor little rich boy. Lock him up.

He should be prosecuted for Criminal Damage at the very least, and then he should be made to clean off the graffiti from Winston Churchill’s statue. After that, Community Service – cleaning motorways and public toilets.

Sadly, the reality is that nothing will come of this and Charles Gilmour will probably aspire to a rather nice affluent lifestyle.

What Guido is missing is that the main adversaries of Coulson would not come forward with any information to help the investigation.
So by implication the BBC and the Gruniard are telling the usual porkies to advance their cause.
Problem is that again they get away without punishment for spreading disinformation.
In the last two days DEVEX (International developement entity supposed to be non-political) and the Guardian have been promoting the Prime Mentalist Brown to be head of IMF next year.
    Be warned, be very warned.
If this even gets close then buy up all the gold, as Brown does not understand its true value.

Welcome to the truly barking mad mindset of the privately educated, loopy socialist elite, so cut off from mainstream life are they, so immune to the financial woes the rest of us face, that they would wish our country’s benefits – even in times of financial hardship, to be literaly given away around the world. This ridiculous woman needs a history lesson..she needs to look at why “social security” was set up in the first place, and who it was for. But don’t hold your breath…lefties re-write history as they go, changing it to suit their current fads.

The trouble is, she’s so fucking priveledged she doesn’t give a shit. She needs to get out more (with or without a stab vest) but you can bet your bottom dollar she won’t be visiting any predominantly white working class housing estates anytime soon and saying what she’s been quoted as saying above.

Harpy knows that Labour’s votes are dwindling, so what better way to drum up new ones then to let all the immigrants know that Labour will not only finance them, but will also give money to their families abroad. That in itself should bring in a couple of million votes at least.

I think it says a lot about life in Britain today that the measure of this man’s success is his avoidance of prosecution for what is clearly a criminal offence. It’s a form of parallel universe in politics and publishing where crime really does pay.

Mr Bryant and Mr Watson managing to make the whole hacking affair look like a farce – the more they moan the less I care about the whole subject! So partisan it beggars belief at all costs. They cannot rise above it ! If I was to call the PM a ‘liar’ I would want to be VERY sure.
