Greenpeace : “We Know Where You Live”

Do you find this implicit threat from Greenpeace a little disturbing?

The proper channels have failed. It’s time for mass civil disobedience to cut off the financial oxygen from denial and skepticism … Let’s talk about what that mass civil disobedience is going to look like.

If you’re one of those who have spent their lives undermining progressive climate legislation, bankrolling junk science, fueling spurious debates around false solutions, and cattle-prodding democratically-elected governments into submission, then hear this:

We know who you are. We know where you live. We know where you work. And we be many, but you be few.

Guido is one of those who spends his life undermining “progressive climate legislation” and other alarmist nonsense from Greens who have long ago left behind reason and rationalism for a mystical Gaia.  Scratch a Green and you will find, underneath the romanticism for a past mythical pastoral existence, a yearning for an anti-human totalitarianism.

The implicit threat from Greenpeace of “we know know where you live” signals that having failed to yoke the world’s democracies to their demands, some on the fringes of the Green movement will, like their allies in the Animal Liberation Front, move on to eco-terrorism directed at individuals.  We have been warned…

The Slapometer is now showing 1.91m for McBroon and 934k for Cameron. Get over there now and give Snotgobler a good slapping to get him over 2m before the Victoria Street losers, who have given up their Easter in vain to catch up, get to 1m.

McBroon has never been put to any vote connected with the leadership so let us give him one backhanded (literally) triumph before he is annihilated!!!!!!!!

McBroon is getting a fearsome slapping right now – more than 50 slaps a second at times.

Well done everyone – Thanks for responding!

Brown has been slapped 2 million times. But it ain’t nuthin’ to what he is going to get when he calls that election!

Come on punk! May 6 or June 3. Whatever. Make my day!!!!

Glad to have helped play my small part to give Gordon Brown 2 million slaps. More than the others combined.

Keep it up. Let’s see if we can give him 10,000,000 slaps before the debates even start.

          • Can't remember my moniker says:

            Bravo! Mr Ned.

          • I was going to give Brown 50 slaps, but then I thought: “Ah, the hell with it!” And gave him 1,004. I gave Clegg five. Just because I could.

          • Can't remember my moniker says:

It was great, That’s News. I was slapping along with you. I saw that the rate went over 75 per second at several points. Had the Victoria Street kids got to a million before we got McBroon to 2 million, I could see them presenting it as some sort of victory for them, such is the perversity of their logic. When we were approaching the 2m their rate eased off as they knew they were beaten.

I gave Clegg 205 and Cameron 17. Some were accidental but I thought that they deserved some. No one gets left off the hook completely in my book.

I had the page up for three days. McBroon got slapped by me 38,000 times in a number of short angry sessions with very high strike rates. That probably says as much about me as it does about him but I shall never forgive him, Blair and their crowd for what they have done to the country I love. We have all had to wait so long for this – and it’s not over yet.

I shall be proposing some rather different new action very soon.

        Mr Ned says:

They just cannot admit that their “science” is (a) not science at all, and (b) is wrong.

There is NO well-funded campaign to deny the science. There are billions of dollars flooding into climate research to prove that man is changing the climate and threatening our very existance, with the vast majority of the mainstream media and the politicians in their “camp”. On the opposing side there is an increasing number of scientists and a slowly waking public. oh, and the truth and what real, meticulous and open science, based on observable evidence tells us.

Greenpeace are on the wrong side of the Truth/Bullshit divide.

I have always thought that part of Greenpeace was a pseudo-terrorist organisation.

They started out as a good, rational force for good in the world and one of their founders, Patrick Moore, (no not the astronomer), left Greenpeace in disgust at what they had become. He also is firmly of the opinion that man IS making huge and damaging destruction upon this planet, but CO2 is NOT the cause of climate change.

If Greenpeace harm one person, then they should be outlawed as a terrorist group.

Greenpeace are on the wrong side of the Truth/Bullshit divide. says:

Mr Cameron said: “If you want to understand climate change, go and see Al Gore’s film, An Inconvenient Truth. Today, I want to tell the British people some uncomfortable truths. There is a price for progress in tackling climate change.”

Mr Gore praised the role Mr Cameron had played in promoting environmental issues.

“The fact that both your political parties are competing vigorously to offer solutions is very important,” he told Tory frontbenchers.

“I can assure you that people around the world really are watching and are appreciating the quality of this debate.”

To be fair on the guy, he’s not the only one who’s been hoodwinked by post-normal activist scientists in the Green movement. Almost the entire population, media and political class were as well (with the exception Dellingpole and Booker in the Telegraph).

          • Mr Ned says:

I am not defending Cameron, and Brown is just as much in thrall to the eco-fascists as Cameron is. Not surprising really when you see where the money is coming from. Earth day and the Earth Concert in London in 2007? where funded by the Rothschild family.

The new world order are depending on this global warming bullshit to unify the globe under one, undemocratic, fascist government.

When you have a top-rate climate realist and follower of science as your “climate” spokeperson, you are on the right side of the argument. UKIP have the eminent Lord Monkton as their official climate spokesperson.

That is worth a vote in and of itself.

          • Disaffected says:

The real problem is that it will not be a matter for a UK government as most decision making activities are gradually, but surely, being taken by our MASTERS in the EU. Mr Ned is correct the public are waking up to some of this eco bullshit; which the government has milked to get some more tax out of the working public- not East Europeans, Somalis and the like that have flooded this country for welfare benefit.

When I read about RBS having to sell its assets because of an EU ruling, it infuriated me, once again, why we do not have the right to autonomy. I don’t like what the bankers or politicians have done to get us into this economic mess. Brown and Clinton withdrew the regulatory measures in the banking world to prevent accessive bankers greed to protect the public. However, I despise the fact that the EU can tell us what to do and influence our economic position- I dare say for their own benefit or to get an advantage. Brown won’t let you down.

Trust Brown’s judgment: Brown robbed everyone’s pension in 1997 and is now wondering what should be done to finance people in their old age- Brown won’t let you down. Brown sold our gold when it was at its lowest price costing the UK £7 billion pounds- Brown won’t let you down. Brown improperly financed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, thousands of people lost their lives because Brown did not provide enough money. Brown’s denied this in complete contrast to the evidence of military chiefs. He then realised he did not fund the wars properly and wrote to confirm he was wrong- Brown won’t let you down. Brown wanted mass immigration to change the face of Britain. He produced false figures- Brown won’t let you down. Brown is the one who was given a good economy, introduced light touch regulation and now it is bankrupt- Brown won’t let you down. Brown still claims for a second home that he does not have, Brown won’t let you down. Brown recently told the country- I won’t let you down. He is a liar that cannot be trusted. Brown has let you down for 13 years, it is time for change, vote him out

There is no doubt that Greenpeace are, like the EU, an anti-democratic organisation. They would happily abolish democracy in this country in order to complete their ‘mission’.
As this country is contributes less emissions than most other nations their position is essentially a fascist one and they must be stopped at all costs.
Why don’t they all just fuck off to China if they hate democracy and love the planet so much?
Oh yeah, they wouldn’t go to China and lecture them on ways to damage the economy because they would be executed.
And another issue on this point regards Prince Charles. His position is also untenable in that his mother has quite correctly kept her mouth shut regarding political issues for the last sixty years but her son is constantly making public and private political statements.
That is all very well but it means, constitutionally speaking, that he is not fit to be King.
He has forfeited his right to become the King of Great Britain with his constant whingeing.

    Environmentalism, Eco-Terrorism and Endangered Species
by Glenn Woiceshyn (January 25, 1999)

    Article address: http://www.CapMag.com/article.asp?ID=217

Summary: While mainstream environmental groups may try to distance themselves from ELF and its “eco-terrorist” methods, the truth is that ELF did directly what mainstream environmentalists have been doing indirectly for years via the U.S. government’s Endangered Species Act (ESA).

[CapMag.com]An underground environmental group called Earth Liberation Front (ELF) claimed responsibility for incinerating four ski lifts (October 1998) and three buildings worth 12 $million at Vail, Colorado. Vail’s plans to expand its ski area apparently clashed with environmentalists’ plans to re-populate the “endangered” lynx in Colorado. ELF destroyed this property “on behalf of the lynx” and warned skiers to ski elsewhere this winter.
While mainstream environmental groups may try to distance themselves from ELF and its “eco-terrorist” methods, the truth is that ELF did directly what mainstream environmentalists have been doing indirectly for years via the U.S. government’s Endangered Species Act (ESA).

Agreed. Grayling, or (Gayling) as I call him, is NOT anti-gay and to even suggest he is is just flat out lies.

He is right about one thing though, people SHOULD have the right to decide who they accept into their family home, even if they are using it as a B&B or Guesthouse.

What he said was common sense and totally agreeable. It is not as if homosexuals don’t have alternative places to stay. Why would one want to stay in a place where one is not welcome anyway?

This is just froth and bluster from a bunch of fascist perverts who insist on forcing their views and opinions down everyone else’s throats.

Any OPINION that homosexuality is a depraved and perverted act is equally as valid as any homosexual’s OPINION that their chosen perversion is beautiful and natural and it is the heterosexual breeders that are warped and perverted.

Both OPINIONS are equally valid as they are only OPINIONS. That stated, Grayling was net even suggesting that, all he was advocating is the right for people to have contrary opinions and act on them IN THEIR OWN HOMES!

Last Thursday, whilst driving, I had the misfortune to stumble across Richard Bacon having a ‘back to the 1980s’ show on Radio 5. It was toe-curlingly bad.

They pretended it was the 1980s, but with the knowing benefit of 20-20 hindsight from the year 2010.

Besides mocking ‘Dallas’, ‘Dynasty’, ‘The A-Team’, ‘The Bill’, ‘Wall Street’ (“Greed is good”), Betamax Videos, C90 tapes and CDs, privatisation of the BR in the 1980s was evidently the worst thing that could have happened…

Richard Bacon – thick, cocaine-sniffing, dogmatic-lefty-BBC b@st@rd – rail privatisation took place in 1992.. (Which, if you look at the numbers, ISN’T in the 1980s.)

Oh, and evidently Mrs. Thatcher had a personal vendetta against Liverpool and the people of Liverpool. I just hope this kind of toxic, Lefty nonsense doesn’t pass for fact in our Schools.

I’m a capitalist: it’s the corporatists who are the problem. Capitalists get their own money through their own efforts and how they use that money is entirely up to them. Corporatists, on the other hand, gorge themselves on other people’s money and reward themselves ‘bonuses’ based on nothing they have done but merely on what they can award each other.
If you want to see for yourself the difference between capitalism and corporatism, have a walk down the nearest High Street and see the corps (same everywhere) and look at the effect on small local traders (capitalists) when Tesco (typical corporate) opens a mega-store. It’s a neutron bomb for small business but Tesco, or Asda, or Sainsbury, will own the local authority (corporate) and will get its way wherever and whenever it wants.

Global warming is about a rise in temperature in the atmosphere/oceans disturbing established weather patterns and bringing about extremes of weather as larger swathes of warm air are dragged up from equatorial regions and larger swathes of cold air are dragged down from polar regions.

Whether man has survived similar weather before is neither here nor fucking there. Britain grinds to a halt with a ground frost.

If you think that the billions of tons of pollutants that we spew into the atmosphere has NO effect whatsover – good on you; the world is only as big as the inside of your head anyway.

          • Mr Ned says:

“Its the South Pole you want to be focusing on.”

Agreed, the ice in the Antarctic reached a record high ice extent last September, though I do not recall the media paying any attention to that.

They only go down there in our Spring, when the Antarctic ice melt is at it’s height. Then they recycle those pictures of the Wilkin’s ice sheet breaking off (AGAIN) then go on about how it is warming down there faster than the rest of the planet, but forgetting to honestly inform the public that the ONLY way to show any warming is to strictly control the grid of where they are measuring temperature, to homogenise it in one way that includes dodgy data from thermometers that were 50 feet up on masts, that have now been buried in lots of insulating snow (where the batteries heat up the area around the thermometer), that include areas of strong volcanic activity and where the measurements only start on one specific date and end on another specific that will show a slight net warming. ANY other way of measuring shows that the Antarctic has been cooling for 50 years and the massive ice extent is proof of this.

If one looks at the ice recovery in the Arctic, one can see NATURAL variablity that disproves the wild and crazy alarmism of the past few years. The ice is recovering, the polar bears are breeding like mad and the earth is NOT doomed to burn up.

IN fact there is more ice on the earth today (including the arctic and the Antarctic and all the glaciers combined) than there has been for many years.

That is the raw, observable evidence from the real subject in study. The actual, real earth.

Fuck computerised climate models with their bullshit algorithms and bullshit incomplete input data full of bullshit assumptions.

The real thing is not warming anywhere near as fast as the alarmists are desperate for it to. You would think that they would be relieved and happy that their cataclysmic predictions are not happening, but no, they are just ever more shrill and desperate.

Where there IS massive environmental damage, that can be put down to man’s activities, then that is usually down to local factors such as cutting down forests, (removing moisture which rose, turned to snow and fell on Mount Kilimanjaro, now the ice is receding through natural process in response to less snow and wind erosion and evaporation NOT melting as the temperature there has NOT changed)

Or putting in reinforced coasts to protect fish farms which move the coastal waters further round to cause more damage and flooding (Bangladesh where the sea level has NOT risen by more than half an inch)

Yes there are real environmental issues, but when they are examined, what is revealed is that local factors are blamed and it is NOT the industrialised Western nations’ use of carbon fuels that is the cause, but the use of industrial practices in the region of damage that is to blame.

AGW is BULLSHIT! It is a hypothesis that is NOT supported by the observable evidence and yet people still believe in climate science. In science, IF the hypothesis is not supported by the evidence, OR to put it another way, if the observable evidence contradicts the hypothesis, then the hypothesis fails and must be revised to explain the evidence.

In Climate science, when the observable evidence contradicts the hypothesis, the evidence is ignored, or manipulated or hidden or lost, to be replaced by evidence that has been “homogenised” (tampered with). That is NOT science. That is fraud.

BRITAIN’S highest decorated serving soldier REFUSED to shake Gordon Brown’s hand in a protest at a state ceremony.

Brave Victoria Cross winner Johnson Beharry turned and walked off – incensed by what he sees as shabby treatment of the military by the PM.

The Iraq hero told The Sun last night: “I wanted to knock him out.”

We are going to sail a whale up the Thames, kill it and have a BBQ outside the Houses of Tossers. We will flame grill it and serve steaks for a fiver. Greenpeace wanted to ban chlorine but that might be somewhat difficult.

Chlorine (pronounced /ˈklɔəriːn/ KLOR-een, from the Greek word ‘χλωρóς’ (khlôros, meaning ‘pale green’), is the chemical element with atomic number 17 and symbol Cl. It is a halogen, found in the periodic table in group 17 (formerly VII, VIIa, or VIIb). As the chloride ion, which is part of common salt and other compounds, it is abundant in nature and necessary to most forms of life, including humans. In its elemental form (Cl2 or “dichlorine”) under standard conditions, chlorine is a powerful oxidant and is used in bleaching and disinfectants, as well as an essential reagent in the chemical industry. As a common disinfectant, chlorine compounds are used in swimming pools to keep them clean and sanitary. In the upper atmosphere, chlorine-containing molecules such as chlorofluorocarbons have been implicated in the destruction of the ozone layer.

A hound kills a fox just as quickly as a fox kills a rabit, which foxes do on most days, so just think of all those fluffy bunnies being saved, whenever the kind people from the hunt kill a fox. Or doesn’t that fit in with the socialist narative !

My old cat was attacked by a fox last night. Knew it was a fox as he was covered in the deep, rank earthy smell. He’s OK but sleeping it off. Foxes do like killing – but so does my cat but he’s sorted out the rat problem round the chicken shed.
No problems with skilled shooters despatching them but agree with you it’s the hideous 17th century ritual that’s the problem. And get rid of the idea it’s toffs what ride with hunts – around here they are folks from council houses, middle managers, London businessmen.

          • The Court of Public Opinion says:

What animals do to animals is animals business. What humans do to animals is our business.

I had a bacon butty for my breakfast today. The pig had to die, we all agree. According to the fox torturers though, it would have been ok for me to pop round the farm with a blowtorch, pliers and some thumbscrews (well trotterscrews if such a thing existed). Heck, its only a pig, and its got to die anyway right? Might as well have some fun with it rather than this boring old instant stun to the head malarkey.

          • Susie says:

They had a skilled gunman responding to Any Questions a while ago. He said that even he would only get a 40% outright kill rate. So that means at least 60% of the animals die of scepticaemia slowly and painfully.

Foxes are nocturnal and as now any time of year is open season on them and it’s nigh on impossible to tell the difference between a dog fox and vixen at night hunting for her cubs, cubs starve in their earths if their mother is shot.

Hunting sticks to a strict season, the fox is either killed outright or (in most cases) gets away. It really puzzles me why so-called animal lovers sanction its alternatives.

          • Samantha says:

Susie actually knows what she is talking about, unlike the other posters above.
The ritual is part of the respect shown the fox, not that we would expect townies to understand that

The hunt if functioning properly catches and despatches mainly old and sick foxes which can no longer feed themselves, and the lead hound does so quickly.

During a pre-Bill foxhunt, fit young foxes could outrun the hounds. Now, any fox gets shot at, and many die horrible deaths as (unlike dogs) foxes can’t heal their wounds by licking them, and a wounded fox will ALWAYS die a lingering death.

The anti-hunting lobby had [has] no understanding of the ecology and welfare of the fox (or any other wildlife in hunt areas), as any properly informed person reading the Committee transcripts preceeding the Bill would know. Yet another example of (Leftist) people meddling in stuff they don’t understand for political reasons, mainly of class hatred, and leaving things worse than they were before – in this case, much worse. The Hunting Bill has been the cause of much unnecessary suffering to wildlife.

Keepers use wire snares they are perfectly legal and very effective. They are legal because keepers are supposed to inspect them every 24 hours but many don’t. A small wood where pheasants are being raised can contain as many as 200 of the things in the undergrowth.

Last summer my dog got caught in one — luckily we tracked down the keeper who knew where they were and eventually we found him. He’d gone into shock so he didn’t bark and an hour later he’d probably have died.

The Railways were fine until they were ‘nationalised’, no subsidies, expanding, taking most of the Freight traffic – virtually door-to-door: Mail, milk, meat (some stations even had slaughter-houses), cattle, sheep, pigs… plus school-children, businessmen, families… a job with G.W.R., L.M.S., L.N.E.R., or S.R., was a secure, reasonably-paid job – then came Attlee and Co. and the ‘We are the Masters now!’ mentality took over: Unions urged wage-increases, closing their eyes to the consequential ‘de-manning’; the great game of damaging Railway Property (‘It’s ours: we can do what we like with it!’) took off at untold cost (‘Let’s unscrew all the light-bulbs and throw them out of the windows – and the lavatory-paper – and the crockery!’), so Beeching was brought in to cut the cost. Being an Accountant, he didn’t realise that, if you closed Branch-lines, you took traffic away from the main-lines…

Funny lot, some of the eco-brigades. You can’t debate with the more extreme of them. However carefully you explain basic facts (like why the laws of nature mean that some of their crazier ideas won’t work), they call you a reactionary – or worse. In their eyes, they are Right and you are Wrong. No amount of reasoned argument, backed by experience, scientific fact or careful calculations will change their minds. Introduce uncertainty (as in the climate debate) and they instantly turn it into certainty in their favour, conveniently ignoring any data that might contradict them, or worse, plain lying.

They are insidious, and politicians must be careful to check any of their assertions before accepting them. Cameron fell into the trap early in his leadership – it’s to be hoped that saner advisers have pointed him in the direction of sounder science and technology.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown is going to the Palace tomorrow to ask for the dissolution of parliament and to start the campaign leading to the general election on 6th May.

The phoney war is over. The real fight begins tomorrow. The people of Britain can choose between the experience, reliability, and honesty of Gordon or the slick salesmanship of Cameron.

I know which one I prefer.

What does the Charities Commission have to say about this? Greenpeace in the UK is a registered charity with 1 (ONE!) declared employee and an income of ~ £2.5 million.

I can’t read thru all 485 comments, so someone else may well have mentioned this – but shouldn’t Greenpeace be reported to the Charity Commission on the basis of this? It seems a clear incitement to break a number of laws.

    Ruth Kelly's plaything says:

It’s a religion for our secular times.

Like all religions in their primitive phases, it can brook no contradiction and so threatens its opponents with death (vide the requirements for belief imposed by the bearded sons of the desert; you don’t get Rowan Williams demanding the beheading of unbelievers as the C of E is no longer primitive, though there was a time…).

People with no insight, no ability to speculate on the nature of things, just the power of their focussed, single-minded convictions. Convictions that they cannot possibly consider as delusions, or as provisional, even hypothetically. Intellect entirely absent; reacting just like dogs smelling a bone.

    Pathetic, really.

But, like kids with Kalashnikovs, still dangerous to the rest of us.

    DavidGaleIndependent says:

“…If you’re one of those who have spent their lives undermining progressive climate legislation, bankrolling junk science, fueling spurious debates around false solutions, and cattle-prodding democratically-elected governments into submission”

Errr, isn’t that exactly what the climate change industry has been doing?

For the record, many of the EU directives (like landfill targets) are collared by corporates in the UK who then use lobbyists to leverage a solution in a way that suits them. Landfill reduction was supposed to encourage recycling and less waste legislation. Instead, the incinerator industry got civil servants and politicians to set the tick-box agenda in a way that profited them. Incinerators now encourage MORE waste production to keep them viable, whilst churning out four times more CO2 per megawatt than a conventional coal-fired power station. Who was one of the lobbysists’ consultants? Why that would be Hilary Armstong MP – the ex-Labour whip. it doesn’t matter which political party is in power, they’re all need the dosh.

    Follow the money.
