The politician best able to expose the lie behind David Cameron’s claim to be the “heir to Blair” is Tony Blair himself – which is why the Conservatives fear the former Prime Minister.

Mr Blair’s modernisation of the Labour Party is a matter of fact, an achievement which contributed hugely to three successive General Election victories. Even his critics, and we acknowledge Iraq remains controversial, concede he enjoyed a direct line to the public and remains a respected figure.

So who better to expose the essential shallowness of Mr Cameron’s false assertion he’s modernised the Conservatives. The cut-happy Tories lurching to the right prove they’re stuck in the past, prisoners of the 1980s when Mr Cameron’s heroine Maggie Thatcher destroyed millions of lives pursuing a mindless free market ideology.

Mr Blair’s return to front-line politics tomorrow is a significant moment in this election.

He will refocus the choice before the British people: Labour champions the many while the Conservatives represent a few.

      Mr Ned says:

Bring Blair on. It can only benefit the tories. seeing BOTH main architects of the deeply fraudulent and corrupt “new labour” project together lying about the tories can only benefit the Tory campaign!

      A) if it destroys the heir to Blair thing, that can only benefit the tories as people will be reminded of how hateful, corrupt, spiteful and utterly repellent Blair is. his massively delusional ranting to the Chilcott Inquiry was positively mental. Getting rid of the Heir to Blair albatross around Cameron’s neck would add five points to the tories poll numbers.

      B) Hopefully someone will finally ask him what the shelf-life of bulk liquid anthrax is. Then answer proves he lied to start a war and is a disgusting and evil war criminal.

      C) How is Blair going to try to paint the most leftwng, socially conscious tory party since Heath as right wing extremists? They are having a larrrf!

“when Mr Cameron’s heroine Maggie Thatcher destroyed millions of lives pursuing a mindless free market ideology.”

I really wish that they would pursue a free market ideology. That would be far preferable to the Marxist Corporatist policies employed by Labour. Privatise the function of state by selling off service provision dirt cheap to elitist cronies, then keep pouring tax-payers money into paying for those services. Privatise the profits, but socialise the losses and make the tax-payer pick up the tab for keeping your hyper-rich corporate friends in the money.

Labour: the real fascist party in UK politics.

    Election Message says:

I asked my friend’s little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up.
She said she wanted to be Prime Minister some day.

Both her parents, Labour supporters, were standing there, so I asked her,
“If you were Prime Minister what would be the first thing you would do?”
She replied, “I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.”

Her parents beamed, and said, “Welcome to the Labour Party!”

“Wow…what a worthy goal!” I told her. I continued, “But you don’t have to wait until you’re Prime Minister to do that. You can come over to my house, mow the lawn, pull weeds, sweep my drive and I’ll pay you £25.

Then I’ll take you over to the shop where the homeless guy sits outside. You can give him the £25 to use toward food.”

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, “Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work and you can just pay him the £25?”

I smiled and said, “Welcome to the Conservative Party.”

Her parents still aren’t speaking to me.

So he sent forth his trolls to monitor blogworld and to post his lies wherever they found the truth being spoken. A desperate rearguard action as his time finally runs out from the cult that has always believed in lies and deceits over everything else.

    Another Martin Day says:

Gordon Brown has today announced his governments policy for reducing the ‘life expectancy gap’ between rich and poor.
In parts of Glasgow the average life expectancy for a male is 54, in Guildford (Surrey) it is 85.
Mr Brown said today, ‘The ‘life expectancy gap’ must be reduced and we will take steps in the next government to do so. We will introduce a mandatory maximum age of:- 77 for women and 71 for men. This is the right thing to do and will reverse immediately this increasing trend built up over the past 30 years’.

It is believed that 20 culling stations will be built over the duration of the next parliament. The stations, known as ‘Age Levelling Centres’, will be built mainly in the South East, but it is hoped that with the building of the new high speed rail link some will be transferred to the North East area.

Straight off to court for her ‘rightful’ severence. And no doubt her union will be supporting her right to be an incompetent, uncaring jackass. After all, there but for the grace of God…WTF? No, there but for the grace of god don’t go I. I might be a cynical bastard but if I’d signed up to be a nurse I wouldn’t be getting fucking precious about bringing patients water or cleaning up their fucking bedpans. It’s nursing 101.

And apparently the ‘nurse’ is ‘traumatised’. Cry me a fucking river.

As I’ve said. Brown, Burnham and Balls are the Ratzingers of the NHS. Covering up the manifest incompetence and institutionalised indifference because they have too much invested to blow the fucking whistle.

Stories like N. Staffs and this kind of fuckwittery are going to do for the NHS what finally did for the miners. Too much self-congratulatory group-think and precious little output.

There is a film called ‘Paper Mask’ where a lowly hospital porter is first on the scene of a fatal accident and finds the victim is a newly qualified doctor on his way to interview. He assumes the dead guys identity and the film proceeds from there. Preventable deaths due to incompetence, establishment cover-ups etc etc.

The NHS is like the Catholic Church in Ireland circa 1950. You simply cannot say a word against it or the vested interests and the establishment will shit on your grave. It is simply inconceivable to many that the NHS is a corrupt, incompetent, self-serving monstrosity where incompetence is simply covered up or denied and the victims blamed for getting sick in the first place.

Anybody who complains is met with the standard ‘You won’t be complaining when you need a doctor…..’.

For fuck’s sake – we’re complaining in case we do need a doctor. We want one that will diagnose us in a timely fashion and we want a hospital that won’t fucking well kill us.

There will be a reason we have the worst cancer survival rates in the ‘first’ world. There will be a reason hospitals can kill literally hundreds of people through negligence and incompetence and yet declare themselves beacons of clinical excellence.

This scandal will eventually break just as the Catholic church is finally having to come to terms with its cover-ups.

Brown, Burnham and Balls are the Cardinal Ratzinger’s of the piece. Never mind the inconvenient facts just keep pouring money into it and keep telling the parishioners its for their own good.

        jgm2 says:

It is exactly like Rwanda in one respect. The Hutus and the Tutsis was not a difference in tribe or language or religion. They were an invention to allow the colonial powers to discriminate (categorize would be a better word) between two groups of the same people. The only difference between them was that one lot was simply better well off. The Tutsis were cattle herders which gave them higher social status than the Hutus who were ‘mere’ farmers.

Rwanda was the absolute definition of a class war. A class war manufactured using a completely arbitrary division. Cattle farmers ‘v’ Crop farmers.

It is Labour politics writ large. Create a totally divisive society setting up one part of the population ‘the poor, the North’ against another ‘the rich, the south’ and then work away on it night and fucking day.

To the extent that the election is decided in the ‘swing’ constituencies of the midlands that aren’t far enough north to be ‘poor and north’ or far enough south to be ‘affluent and south’. This vile government has nothing to offer but divide and rule.

It is why their previous safe haven of idiocy, Scotland, has now become so marginalised that they want nothing to do with the UK at all and will now vote SNP. Labour has been too successful in its divide and rule strategy.
