Lord Lamont told ITV News…
“I think the PM is just human and Ed Balls is a pretty irritating person”

Life is a caberet old chum. He likes that revolving door at No.10.
The news story of £18 million of taxpayers money gone to UNITE if correct is going to take some explaining even for the NuLabour spin machine. And then of course it goes back to NuLabour for their GE war chest. Priceless.
We’re all “modernising” together.
£127 Million of Taxes Ashcroft didn’t have to pay since becoming a non dom Lord makes his world go round.
£5.1 Million to the Conservatives makes Dave’s eyes go round.
That sleazy dodgy sound is both Parties funded by clowns.
Seems he’s less generous with taxpayers’ money than is ol’ Charlie Whelan.
you mean the training and education fund?
you’d have to ask the employers and their staff that use it whether they think it’s worth the money over the 12 years it’s been running. Though what the scrote Whelan has to do with the fund even the telegraph couldn’t enlighten us on.
I think it’s genius that CCHQ and Dave have decided to launch an all out venemous attack on an umbrella Union representing some 2 Million staff and workers, over a few days of possible action by those Militant Scargillite Trolley Dollies and Cabin crew, in the middle of a recession.
it’s not as if there will be people already worried about their jobs looking askance as Dave jumps in with both feet in his latest wheeze as a Union Buster from the 80′s looking for a fight with the UK’s workforce.
You’ve got to love this Conservative Campaign as it goes from strength to strength. One might almost be forgiven for thinking Hilton and Coulson were deliberately okaying each others worst ideas in an effort to sabotage each other.
If people are that worried about their jobs (and they should be with BA making a £400 million loss last year) they should cross the picket line and work.
there are no busloads of riot police ready for a running battle
you will find no miners and militants chanting maggie maggie maggie
it’s cabin crew and they voted to do this in overwhelming numbers
they know more about their own pay and conditions than most here
they will also know of B.A.’s parlous state because they work there
it will get worked out sooner or later in the talks and compromises will be made on both sides
there can’t be anyone on here dumb enough to think this has been the first strike to occur since 97 surely ?
Sounds awfully presumptuous that anybody with such high foreign earnings would simply wish to surrender a large chunk of them to an adverse political system. There are plenty of rich people in the world – but relatively few of them are resident in the UK thanks to its draconian tax system. As Thatcher once pointed out, the good Samaritan was able to help his poorer neighbour only because he was well off.
Labour, furthermore are merely a puppet party to their Trade Union paymasters.
What would you prefer?
A private citizen who makes prudent tax choices and benefits the country….. or a supposedly elected government being steered by unelected bunch of union bully-boys with union-paid members actually working from within 10 Downing Street?
Most convincing.
Why it seems almost churlish to point out that between a quarter and a third of the entire UK workforce are in Unions while the amount of Lords bankrolling Political Parties from Belize may be somewhat less.
Regardless they are both in the wrong.
I want the Unions to stop funding Political Parties and I want non doms and other shady individuals to stop bankrolling them too.
Until that happens you will get no sympathy from the UK voter about who has the most attractive bucket of shit to use as a cash machine.
Communists by nature don’t understand how the world actually works.
Alot of rich, middle class, poor people have a natural drive to get up and go out and make something of themselves and get what they want.
A communist generally has no drive and instead of going out to get what they want, expect it to be delivered to them by others.
They are stuck in an 1800′s mindset of the world and think people can not just get up and leave them to it when they start predictably trying to control everyone like a feudal lord and then they wonder why all the money runs out.
The ideology is just pure stagnation and they only realise it once all the hard up taxpayers do one to make a better life for themselves while the communists are left behind like maggots on a carcass.
They never understand that every country in the world welcomes and wants the hard workers and dutiful taxpayers with a nice sum of money in their bank account to come and immigrate over to them, that is how countries improve their position in the world. They don’t want the gimme gimme gimme mindset out to grab everything they can for free without working a day to pay for it.
Seriously ? COMMUNISTS! That’s all you have in the tank ?
Poor deluded old codger.
I pity you and your stunted sloganeering which reveals a complete lack of any rational thought process and reasoning ability.
The Communist Party in Britain gets far less votes than even the Monster Raving Looney Party and quite rightly so. McCarthy is dead. Take your braindead irrelevant twaddle somewhere it’s remotely relevant.
It’s 2010 not 1950. Wakey wakey.
Welcome to NWO puppet, communist Daves new political oppression!
“Any good headteacher would not have a member of the BMP within a hundred miles of a school. They should be able to fire someone for that reason.”
Dave is listed as a member and supporter of the extreme left wing terrorist group the UAF.
and another person you may like to know uses political oppression through censorship is Guido the states blogger!
Dave can’t let democracy be and the people left to choose, he has his NWO masters to keep happy or they won’t let him play in the politics pantomime show they put on for the sheeple every 4 years or so.
If true, it’s just money laundering.
If it’s not going to the learning fund and businesses and their staff that use it then it’s false accounting at least
Charlie,,, Your fired!!!
No more cash for you little poodle.
your trolling is as weak as your intellect
you must try harder if you want to earn enough to feed your tramp fellating habit
And s big fat fuck off to all the Labour twats who are so insecure in their shit beliefs that they just have to keep posting on this site!
> who are so insecure in their shit beliefs that they just have to keep posting on this site!
so what does that say about the Conservatives or UKIPs or Independents or anyone else who keeps posting on this site ?
Idiot
I am so bloody depressed that there are still 30% contemplating voting for this shower that I am going to bed – nighty nite. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Don’t worry we’re working hard to bury any un-good news for our inner Party benefactors..
The laundering of public money, and purely for political purposes.
When the BBC have finally exhausted their fascination with the Ashcroft non-story perhaps they would like to look at this one.
Too busy just at the moment? Thought so.
Whellans an arse. Just another pseudo trot(all down with the rich when daddies money and when it’s your own join em.). He hosts a fishing programme on radio Scotland from his country pile in Speyside. He goes out fishing with all the neighbouring great and good.
Very working class.
he’s a fat fuck
He went to boarding school FFS. Working class my ass.
The toils of socialism are for the masses not the elite. Some comrades are more equal than others.
Whelan is just playing Mr Big with all the little peoples hard earned money & lives.
The little people are the mugs for giving this protection racket the money.
“I don’t organise strikes”; and bears don’t shit in the woods.
Whelan spends his whole time organising.
‘If you could see her through my eyes
You wouldn’t wonder at all
If you could see her through my eyes….’
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/7473683/Union-behind-BA-strike-receives-18m-from-taxpayers-in-money-laundering-deal-with-Labour.html
This is fucking outrageous.
GB: “Its the right thing to do”. It will help me to get re-elected and serve as your PM for another 5 years. You know I am right, I am always right and I can then complete the job I started and bring our economy in line with Zimbabwe.
If it’s not being used for training and education then it’s not just outragous but probably illegal or at least false accounting.
So it has to be accounted for and the reports reveiewed.
Course if it’s being used by businesses then they would know if their workforce and staff have used it too.
The Conservatives can decide whether they want this Union Learning Fund to now cease. If they do it’s easy enough for them to say so.
Maybe the Union can learn how to raise funds from its members?
For in house training of the Unions own staff I might agree. For business training their workforce in partnership with the Unions I wouldn’t.
But the detail is down to the business Minister to clarify and no doubt the Conservative shadow can tell us if he’s appalled enough to stop it.
“…and no doubt the Conservative shadow can tell us if he’s appalled enough to stop it.”
Assuming he’s even noticed of course. Another deafening silence I imagine.
It’s fat Ken isn’t it ?
He’s either up to his neck in pies or jazz one would imagine.
We haven’t had any complaints and most certainly won’t be investigating.
“It wouldn’t be in the public interest.”
It certainly will be on May 7th though…
What’s also outrageous is the Daily Telegraph running a story that Brenda Dean was shocked by the Ashcroft story. That’s Brenda Dean formerly Gen. Sec. of SOGAT who morphed into Amicus and are now part of UNITE. These wankers think we have the memory of a fruit fly. Fortunately some of us remember the last time these gangsters tried to run the country through their labour puppets.
That`s Baroness Dean of Thornton le Fylde to you. Really you oiks are so uppity, remember your place in our wonderful new Fabian utopia serf.
She knows a lot about public money – she’s drawn enough of it over the years.
Indeed she does – from this very blog, 13th Dec 2005:
Baroness Dean of Thornton-le-Fylde (the former trade union leader Brenda Dean) received ₤57,944 in overnight subsistence payments between 2001 -05 after claiming her main home was a waterfront pad in Falmouth while the £900,000 Islington town house she shares with her husband, former CBI press chief, Keith McDowall, was merely their second home.
So paying tax where the income is earned is ‘shocking’ to a woman who is prepared to claim that her main residence is her holiday home.
You couldn’t make it up – indeed, these days you don’t need to.
The world’s favourite airline’s strike supported by Gordon’s favourite fixer
Best thing that can happen is BA goes to the wall. Virgin can then get itself some lucrative routes and cheap planes. Branson could also retrain the drunken surly cabin staff or get them handling baggage for a living.
Cabaret played out to the backdrop of the creeping rise of the Nazi Party. Interesting parallels. I hope we will not invade Poland until Saturday because Tomorrow belongs to me!
Ach, you don’t know the least of it!
Guy News rocks my world.
Today sees the start of a new 12 part series called “At Home With Charlie Whelan”.
Each week, between now and the election, there will be an hour long special featuring Charlie fishing on his favourite beats on the Spey and afterwards discussing his favourite lures and malts.
Kirsty Wark will be your host.
Also, in the weeks leading up to the election, we will be starting a new investigative series called “Digging the Dirt”.
This will be focusing on the issues surrounding Lord Ashcroft.
Nick Robinson, Jeremy Paxman and Nicky Campbell will be your hosts. Guests will feature Eddie Izzard, Joe Brand, Tony Robinson and Stephen Fry.
they should know by now to totally ignore anything that doesn’t help the Conservatives
Nick Robinson, Jeremy Paxman and Nicky Campbell will be your hosts. Guests will feature Eddie Izzard, Joe Brand, Tony Robinson and Stephen Fry.
Are there any socialists who aren’t fucking millionaires?
My heartfelt sympathies for the millionaire who is fucking Jo Brand
Well Chubby, it ain’t Stephen “Twitter Ye Not” Fry that’s for sure.
Is Michael Winner a millionaire?
Calm down dear! *grunt,grunt*
Calm down dear it’s just socialism.
Amazing!
We’ve found the only person in Britain not irritated beyond belief by Winners teethgrindingly shite adverts.
Unless..
Hello Mr Winner.
Have you finally managed to read all the way through The Farting Dog yet ? (100% true! Winner said recently he only reads childrens books and recommended that one)
With special reports by putative Labour MP Michael Crick.
I’m more comfortable around women, I’ve got to tell you. I love women. I love being around them. I love my wife. My wife is a woman. And I feel very comfortable around her. And around women. Because I love women and I feel more comfortable around them.
Arthur Scargill must be pulling his Weetabix out.
Gay dad: Magda, get off that fucking Twatterphone and help me find my moral compass – that fat twat Whelan has fucking dropped me in it.
Beard: (On Twatterphone) Must go now, Lord Paul, thanks for a wonderful lunch. Mwah.
Now, the last time I saw the compass, it was when you were sending Susan Boyle that Good Luck card.
Gay dad: FFS, you useless woman, I had it just the other day when I was writing to Becks.
I’m coming out
to say beards only look good on men
Gordon Brown – the most hated man in Britain.
The impostor,the charlatan.
Excrement.
Liar
Spy
Conman
Thief.
Soon to be gone forever.
Charlie, you really ought not to post pseudonymously.
Traitor as well?
Nick Robinson – the cancer that is the BBC.
Sian Williams is a ugly slapper.
She’s shacked up with P Woolwich, a BBC executive. I think it’s safe to say her job’s secure.
We are all condemning tory nepotism with a straight face while practicing it ourselves.
It’s the socialist thing to do………
She is not his nephew so it is hardly nepotism
I watched breakfast news the other day when it started at 6am – Billy and Sian – they looked very tired, jaded and faded – just like the BBC.
No news.
No journalism
Just Mandelson’s voice
HMV – Her Mandelson’s Voice – you saw it here first.
True, but she’s threatened to read the news naked because she lost her claim for tax relief on her work clothes. I’ll be watching.
Bet shes got some right stretch marks after the amount of kids shes popped out.
O/T but BBC relevant
Watched programme last night on BBC2 entitled “People’s Politician” which primarily featured Richard Caborn and Ann Widdecombe.
The “Beeb” guy Tim Samuels was helping “Widders” to re-connect with the electorate primarily under 25 ‘s who were totally apathetic and did not see the point in voting. The “Beeb” set up website for “Widders” for her constituents to contact her with their concerns etc.The final result after months of publicity was exactly 4 petitions signed by 4 people. Two votes regarding the Afhanistan War 1 for immediate pull out and 1 for pull out in 12 months and then the burning topic — The Equality Bill…. massive response of 2 votes 1 for and 1 against.
Meanwhile in Sheffield ex union convenor and Sports Minister Richard Caborn was confident(although we had just seen a piece where he failed spectacularly to score a goal in a five a side against a 75 year goal keeper after he confidently boasting beforehand of whacking a few past him so we were pre-warned ) that he could work the old magic on a group of uninterested(politically)apprentices.Needless to say he didn’t and they still said after his meeting they still wouldn’t vote. So he and Samuels adjourned in defeat to the local Labour club to drown their sorrows.
So the end result ? Apathy rules. Nobody trusts MPs and think they’re all crooks But did we need the taxpayers money to tell us that ?
then it’s going to be a battle of the core votes and all the talk about swing voters and marginals may just turn out to be be so much horseshit
I’m voting for Nick Griffin in the hope he’ll be a worse prime minister than me.
Yours Sincerely
Gordon Brown PM
Well he IS rumoured to be a bit bonkers.
That’s Griffin’s core vote right there.
Nice musical preview, and the most important thing is money.
Ashcroft blah blah Ashcroft wibble Ashcroft ZZZzzzz BORING!
The childish fixation with a non story smear peddled by the BBC perfectly highlights the corruption and desperation of the left, they have no ideas and they have no vision just worn out and tired and repetative smears.
Fuck off labour, we no longer believe your lies and smears, fuck off BBC you have outed yourselves for the fakes you are.
The BBC toady show is still peddling the Ashcroft non story as if we are still listening and quoting the toilets McGuire/mirror ‘wisdom’ that the union money laundering is open and transparent..oh yeah its really transparent but not in the way the morons think.
you aren’t bitter at all
have some cash from Uncle Ash
Can I have some cash please Lord Ash?
No.
Drugs are for mugs Straw.
Nick Robinson’s blog on Ashcroft taking a real beating as nearly all the posts are giving him shit as a Labour mong.
As you say If 5000 read it then past comment when out and about could
be 20000 now know what a Labour grupie he has become.
Maybe the BBC will fuck him off after the election as hes his now turning lots of people off Labour and the BBC,thank fuck
Toesnails has a completely opposing view to Pienaar. I would like them both to debate the Ashcroft story together this would be very interesting.
Agreed.
I’m more disgusted by Draper’s smooch with Uncle Charlie at the end of that film though…
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1259054/Millions-lose-500m-pensions-raid-Labour-reneges-pledge-payments.html
Labour stealing your money ‘because it is the right thing to do’
Shameful. Another good reason not to defer claiming a state pension (assuming that the government can afford to pay one in the future).
Indeed. If Labour win or there’s a hung Parliament/LibLab pact I’m going to start claiming job-seekers allowance or any other benefit I can blag off them until I reach retirement age. I’m sure I’ll get to be just as good at wasting taxpayers’ money as they are…
just who’s running the country?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/election-2010/7474376/Labour-warns-of-more-tax-rises-next-year.html
Mandy’s been quiet for a couple of weeks, now this……
I think Mandy’s fed up with the return of Old Labour over Ashcroft.
He knows that no-one gives a fuck about that story, they care about the economy, jobs and services, not someone who pays tax on what he earns here giving money to the Tories – especially as even he can see the hypocracy of the unions about to bring the country to it’s knees over Easter (in the middle of the campaign)…
Mandy’s not been that quiet. I saw him on Sky news yesterday lecturing the Tories on honesty in politics! Oh the irony!
Surprised Mandy is so head over heels in love with the new Nissan electric car given it has no exhaust pipe!
I think he’s actually very low key at the moment and looks thoroughly fed up. Hate the man but these knuckle draggers like Whelan must really piss him off. Did enjoy Ken Clarke denouncing Mandy’s wafflings as piffle and generally trouncing him. The fight seems to have gone out of the gay Lord.
Anybody think he’ll attempt to cross the floor if the Tories get in?
Yup.
I’ve only been up for a few minutes, had a cuppa and put news on the radio
1. possible train strikes over Easter
2. student loans chaos expected because of poor organisation
3. six social worker sacked but no managers
4. air strike happening tomorrow
5. new pension rules out
6. Brown not clarifying torture claims
great start to the day – bring on the election
Thats ok.
1) not using a train
2) not a student
3) I’m antisocial, esp at work.
4) I’m not so much airsick, as I don’t want to eat shite on a plane.
5) ha. N/A
6) I bet they “looked guilty” anyway.
Are you Gordon
Terribly sorry chaps about keeping my oil money under wraps but a man and his family has got to eat you know.
Makes a change from you eating Dubya’s shit I suppose.
Are you trying to set a record for the worlds wealthiest warcriminal Bliar ?
Good luck with buying yourself a conscience.
You have never been a top or bottom have you friend?
I googled in “left foot forward” and ended up on this site.
Blinding,we are all Labour voters now
Start spreading the news, I’m leaving in May
I want to be a part of it – new york, new york
These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it – new york,
new york
I wanna wake up in a city, that doesn’t sleep
And find I’m king of the hill – top of the heap
These little town blues, are melting away
I’ll make a brand new start of it – in old new york
If I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere
It’s up to you – new york, new york
Maybe he could run Drexel, Arthur Andersen, Enron, AIG, Barings or Lehmans. Or help Bernie Madoff… I’m sure his financial genius would fit in brilliantly with any (or even all) of those.
After buying a new phone to speak to my dear friend Barack Ohama as he didn’t answer the first one hundred times we called him on the old phone. Bad line or broken phone or something i’ve been told to say.
Yes after speaking to my dear friend Yo Barack he has asked me, yes me Gordon Brown saviour of the world not Sarkozy or Merkel to come and run Freddie and Fanny Mac in America after the election. He said I couldn’t possibly do a worse job on it and it would be a small price to pay for a few months of no phone calls.
Chicago’s got the lot for Brown, mafia, Obama, corruption…
Chicago, Chicago, that toddlin’ town,
Chicago, Chicago, I’ll show you around.
Bet your bottom dollar you’ll lose the blues
In Chicago, Chicago
The town that Billy Sunday could not shut down.
On State Street, that great street, I just want to say
They do things they don’t do on Broadway; say,
They have the time, the time of their life -
I saw a man, he danced with his wife
In Chicago, Chicago my home town.
Chicago, Chicago, that toddlin’ town
Chicago, Chicago, I’ll show you around – I love it
Bet your bottom dollar you’ll lose the blues in Chicago
Chicago, the town that Billy Sunday could not shut down
On State Street, that great street, I just want to say
They do things that they never do on Broadway – hey
They have the time, the time of their life
I saw a man, and he danced with his wife
In Chicago, Chicago, Chicago, that’s my home town
His loyalty to the banking sector will be well rewarded, the banking elites look after loyal servants.
Stop spreading the bullshit, Brown! – ‘cos it”s not up to you – you Dork!
Can David Cameron push on to victory?
NO ! NO! NO !
No-one believes a word that those serial liars David Cameron and William Hague say anymore
TORY SCUMBAGS
As opposed to Liebour who are just total sleazebags !!
Anything Ascroft can do I can do better
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/7473683/Union-behind-BA-strike-receives-18m-from-taxpayers-in-money-laundering-deal-with-Labour.html
See if Ken Clarke thinks there’s anything substantial in there to run with as it’s covered under his brief.
Vote Labour: vote for the money laundering gerrymanderers…
William Hague: I made mistakes over Lord Ashcroft affair and intend to resign as an MP
William Hague, the shadow foreign secretary, has admitted that he was wrong to give the impression that Lord Ashcroft would begin paying full taxes on becoming a peer and will quit politics.
You still on those hallucinogenics, Fartin ??
Blah blah wibble wibble ZZZzzz….FFS change the record comrade, you are starting to sound like you have a mental illness, ever decreasing circles of madness with the walls closing in and nobody listening.
He pays full tax on UK earnings?
Does any other non-dom financing lords do this?
Note to ALL News editors.
A major systems failure has occured and there has been no mention of Lord Ashcoft across the entire BBC network this morning.
oh yes there has
Please provide details and I will personally ensure that all those involved will be handsomely rewarded.
COKE AND RENT BOYS FOR EVERYONE
LOVELY JUBBLY
Wot no Champagne? Looks like we will have to put the telly tax up again.
I agree with everything I say
Uaf Uaf Uaf
It was a brilliant piece of scheming by the reliable Today programme. Stuck for an opportunity to bring up Ashcroft, the genius presenter managed to review the Guardian, and lo and behold the only story in that rag was ……. Ashcroft. Sheer brilliance
Where there’s a Whelan, there’s a human waste
Like a Whelan bin?
HMRC
got a letter with new tax code from Cardiff
got a reply from my response from Hereford
got another reply from further response from Cumbernauld
what the fuck’s going on with HMRC
Nothing. That’s the problem…
Where the fuck is Cumbernauld?
Don’t tell me let me guess… a shiny new PFI barn on some business park built on ex council wasteland/landfill.
Cumbernauld. A place with two claims to fame.
1) they filmed gregory’s girl there.
2) it has no claims to fame.
It’s in Scotchland, madam.
If they’re using incompetent jocks to staff HMRC, that must mean lower taxes for the English. I approve.
The jocks can’t count anyway…. for proof refer to Royal Bank of SCOTLAND, Halifax Bank of SCOTLAND, and HM Treasury’s SCOTTISH Chancellors of Exchequer over the past 13 years.
As if any more proof were needed!
They LURV haggis and chip butties with mars bars up there. Like Prescott land only more so.
It’s a Zanu Labour Tribal Area, Madam
Therefor a no-go area…
I listened to Today this morning and from approx 7.45 to 8 am there was no mention of Lord Ashcroft – is this a record?
I will on the air shortly
aint life shit lad
You missed the paper reveiw then, plenty of opportunity to get the digs in, freeloading off the back of their paper collegues
Ashcroft was mentioned 6.45 and 6.50.
Silly of them really as the minute the BBC mentions his name, I switch off the set.
and me.
So do I, otherwise I’d scream and scream and scream.
And me. I’d scweam, and scweam, and scweam, and scweam!
And me!
he wasn’t mentioned on the sports news either
BLACK FRIDAY FOR DAVID CAMERON’S CONSERVATIVES
Just saw this headline
Lord Ashcroft affair: Tories put the knife in the beleaguered Hague
Party cries”get rid of the lying little shit” after leak of Ashcroft documents, as shadow foreign secretary admits ‘mistake’ over peer
nah. EVEN TaT doesn’t give a shit about that.
if only Dave didn’t support the futile slaughter in a quagmire too
never mind,
enjoy the war as the dead bodies keep piling up for another 5 years warmonger
Unfortunately the Tories have always been warmongers.
I hate the Tories
Well i didn’t like to say really ,but i don’t like you ! .
I dislike the tories, however I HATE Labour and Bruin in particular. As for the Limp Dims, lets just call it utter contempt.
I don’t like posters who reply to all their own posts because they are sadsack losers
Uaf Uaf
Good dog. Lick it up!
Down boy!
It is a function of their internet panel approach that YouGov isn’t able to pick up turnout factors to the same degree as other pollsters and they exclude it from their methods. However, traditional polls use widely differing methods to take account of turnout, and these produce equally varied corrections to the raw data. No consensus has emerged as to what, if any, correction has greatest validity.
Four weeks before the 2008 London mayoral elections, a YouGov poll placed Boris Johnson 13 points ahead of the incumbent Ken Livingstone. Livingstone’s campaign team branded the poll “fundamentally flawed”, arguing that it failed to take account of London’s larger ethnic minority population compared to the rest of the country, and saying that it would complain to the Market Research Council of Great Britain.Ipsos MORI and ICM polls put the candidates neck-and-neck. A subsequent poll was derided by Livingstone as “a transparent attempt by the Evening Standard/YouGov to give Boris Johnson a more credible lead”. However, Livingstone never made the official complaint that had been announced to the media, and in the event, YouGov’s final poll showing Johnson in the lead by six percentage points was the only accurate prediction.
But you conveniently forgot to say that the methodology has been changed since then.
To asisst his friends in government.

Less than a week until my next episode of Doctors! ‘Bleeding’ is on BBC1 on Tuesday 9th March at 1.45pm, and on BBC HD at 6pm the same day. (It will also be on iPlayer all week.) I’ve watched it already, and I’m delighted with the end results. Please tune in if you can.
nutter
More headlines !!
Lord Ashcroft under pressure to sack” lying shits” David Cameron and William Hague
Now we know who runs David Cameron’s Conservatives
Er that would be David Cameron !??? the clue was in the title! .
LoL!
After much thought I have decided to vote Labour at the next election
spoof or sarcasm?
Neither. Martin Day has him tied up in the other corner of his bedsit.
A spoof by a twat who couldn’t write a post like jgm2 if they tried.
It’s TaT
He’s had a funny turn this morning.
How was it you got to think without a brain. Labour voters = empty space between the ears.
SQUAAWK! (peck) SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM (ruffle) SQUUAAAAWWWKK!!! (flap) ++thump++
SQUIIIRRRRRRR… (peck) (nip) (claw) (slash) AAAAAAAAAARRKK!!!! (flapflapflapflap)
Oh dear. You’ve got the old fellah annoyed now!
I hope we can count on your votes for Labour in the upcoming general election, we have managed to slot Gordon Brown into an episode of the new series of Doctor Who along with subliminal messages telling you to Vote For Labour.
You can spell as well, must of had a private education!
Irony is wonderful isn’t it. Must ‘of’ had, Anonymous is clearly state educated.
I couldn’t care less about a British subject’s taxation who does business overseas as well as in the UK provided he pays his taxes, both personal and corporate, on income derived from his UK operations. If he makes lots of money in China, surely it’s for the Chinese tax authorities to tax his businesses there accordingly. If he makes lots of money in India, surely it’s for the Indian tax authorities to tax his businesses there accordingly. If he makes lots of money in the USA, surely it’s for the US tax authorities to tax his businesses there accordingly. I just don’t see the problem…
same bollocks Lord Pawl uses as justification and he’s almost as big a cun’t as Ashcroft
Its probably a system thats come to place from different countries over the years. Non-residents don’t pay tax on income that comes from britain for example.
What is wierd is the whole idea of “domicile”. I note that James Caan is non-dom. That is bloody wierd. The central focus of his life is Pakistan, but he’s lived in the UK almost all his life and he doesn’t want to be called “Nazim Khan”.
It’s Friday so it’s “Bring your drugs to work day” at the BBC.

Obamas popularity ratings have just entered negative figures just a little over a year into his presidency.
Obama now ranks as the least popular president of recent times and it looks like this one term turkey will be out of office after one term, his nobel peace prize purchased by his supporters is looking like one the most badly timed awards in history, he has planted the seeds of conflict and disharmony wherever he has opened his ignorant gob.
See yah around Barry!
But soon Gordon will be on his way to give him support.
Watch the bounce in the polls.
Obama’s highest disapproval rating – 48%
Dubya’s highest disapproval rating – 71%

I absolutely agree.
Labour whistles in the dark, Darling’s giveaway budget plan, Labour steals more Tory ideas, Argies could invade The Falklands and Brown could invade your sofa and Unite aim to fix it for Jim (Brown)!
How Whelan can pretend that he/Unite do not fund anyone or call strikes is breathtaking in arrogance. And good point about Liebourlist. Guido. Never forgive, never forget…

The Sun goes on the attack against the anti-tory BBC….
‘A SUN investigation has unearthed an alarming BBC bias against the Tories in the run up to the Election.
Covert smears on David Cameron’s Conservatives are being made right across the state-owned network – sparking hundreds of viewers’ complaints.
News coverage, chat shows and even kids’ TV are guilty. We found:
BBC News gave disproportionate coverage to the row over Tory donor Lord Ashcroft’s tax status;
LABOUR panellists were given more time to speak on flagship political show Question Time;
A POLL on The One Show ignored issues with Gordon Brown to ask only, Is David Cameron too much of a toff to be PM?
THE Tory leader was stitched up when footage of him adjusting his hair was sneakily fed to all broadcasters ……………….more”

The bloody Brown Broadcasting Corporation needs sorting out once and for all. Everyone I know is sick to death of it’s blatant pro-Labour bias.
“Critics claim the BBC may want to undermine the Tories for pledging to curb Corporation excesses.
Tory backbencher Douglas Carswell said: “The BBC is in the hands of a left-wing elite. They’re a privileged organisation run for the interests of the few not the many – which is why their views are closer to a broadcast version of the Guardian rather than a popular paper.”
Watchdog Mediawatch-UK director Vivienne Pattison stressed: “Under the BBC charter they are required to be neutral. It’s important – after all, we fund them.”
The BBC’s Lord Ashcroft coverage alone triggered 104 complaints.
When the row over his “non-dom” status broke three weeks ago it led the Beeb’s TV and radio bulletins for up to six days – long after commercial broadcasters dropped it.
But controversy over the similar status of up to eight Labour donors got just a fraction of the coverage.
One listener to Radio Four’s Feedback programme emailed: “You have fallen for Mandelson’s spin again.”

Told you Murdoch Jr is coming after the BBC with a vengeance, surprised he hasn’t started sending donkeys heads to the BBC trust members yet.
I do think the BBC is no longer impartial, but what’s getting to me more is the total boredom I experience when listening to the intense discussion on Ashcroft. I want to hear the news on Radio 4, not a rehash of something that is no longer news.
Keep ‘phoning and complaining.
Wee problem for unite and their political arm is the assumption that all members are labour supporters. Also in scotland the stevie purcell issue is going to cause wee gordon a few headaches as friendly journos start asking awkward questions regarding how much he knew.Och the new
The socialist, celt infested BBC is an ally of NaziLabour simply because it wants it’s place as the mouthpiece of the one party state.
Time to smash the BBC brick by fucking brick
Any money granted to a body for any purposes, be it upgrading IT for communications to members, frees up cash elsewhere for other purposes. Money is fungible.
It is outrageous that a union should receive any public money for projects which should be paid for from members subscriptions.
Total Union Modernisation Fund over 3yrs would have been met by a twenty pence a month increase on the average union member. If it were vital for the union to ‘modernise’, then fair enough…but out of its own resources.
If the unions make political donations to the party which provides the government which establishes the mechanism, then clearly, as money is fungible, it is being recycled under a pretext of ‘modernisation’ from the general Fund (Tax receipts) to the Labour Party at no net real cost to the unions.
Money Laundering.
So we are going to have an AIR and RAIL strike at the same time…
Long live Zanu Labour
It is Britain at work as we promised…
With the country already ON ITS KNEES thanks to Labour lies and incompetence…
NULABOUR = GREATEST FRAUD ON THE BRITISH PEOPLE IN THE HISTORY OF BRITAIN
The truth about defence spending
Telegraph View: Gordon Brown wanted his Chilcot appearance to show that he had been generous to the Army. Instead, his error over figures is a gift to those who accuse him of depriving soldiers of equipment.
The truth about the defence budget under Labour – especially given the UK’s military commitments – is that it has been squeezed. With deep public spending cuts due to take effect after the election, hard choices will have to be made by whichever party is in office. But if we are sending soldiers overseas to fight on our behalf, it is essential the military has the funds to do so properly.
Oh fuck, he’s on the telly again
Global this, global that, terr’ists this, terr’ists that. Obama this, Obama that.
JUST FUCK OFF YOU CNUT
48 DAYS….
Gordon Brown’s new mantra: Who’s Best. How long did it take for him to think that one up.
Who’s best this and who’s best that he is like a fucking kid in the playground. Who’s best at being a complete and utter fuckwit easy – GORDON BROWN. If there is a god please save us from this redundant imbecile who does not have even one redeeming feature.
Bye Guido,it’s been good to know you.
The”Order,Order” political blogging site “has been rocked by the news that it will definitely be abolished if the Conservative Party wins the General Election.
The shock announcement was made by David Cameron, leader of the Oppostion, during a parliamentary debate.
He told MPs: “For the avoidance of doubt, a future Conservative Government will abolish “Order,Order”

yeah, we read it the first time
An Italian named Guido was relaxing in his favourite bar in Rome when he managed to attract a spectacular young blonde woman. Things progressed to the point where he led her back to his apartment and after some small talk, they retired to his bedroom, where he ‘rattled’ her senseless. After a pleasant interlude, he asked with a smile, ‘so you finish?’
She paused and replied, ‘No’
Surprised, Guido reached for her and the lovemaking resumed. This time she thrashed about wildly and there were screams of passion. The lovemaking finally finished and Guido smiled and asked again, ‘You Finish?’
Again, after a short pause, she returned his smile, cuddles closer to him and softly said, ‘No’.
Stunned, but Dammed if he was going to leave this woman unsatisfied, Guido reached for the woman yet again. Using the last of his strength, he barely managed it, but they ended together screaming, bucking, clawing and ripping the bed sheets.
Exhausted, Guido fell on his back, gasping. Barely able to turn his head, he looked into her eyes, smiled and proudly asked again, ‘You Finish?’
Barely able to speak, the beautiful blonde whispered in his ear, ‘No I Swedish’.
fuck off martin
What was the point to that shite?
Sounds like something Al Campbell would write!

I’m getting an application form. Do you want one?
QT last night was very interesting, coming from Manchester I thought that they would generally be sympathetic to Liebour.
I was surprised to hear their disdain and hate of the great leader.
Very surpried indeed, particularly with regard to the recent defence issue.
Brown’s Chilcott appearance is an absolute game-changer in working-class areas.
Everyone there knows someone in the ‘Stan, they know that the troops are under-equipped, as the lady on QT so eloquently put it last week in saying that her son was getting equipment from his family for his 18th birthday.
There were also the two George Crosses awarded yesterday to the bomb disposal unit – to the soldier who told Ainsworthless to his face that more troops were needed, and to one who unfortunately didn’t make it back – his humble, eloquent (and attractive) widow picking up the award on his behalf and being on almost every front page this morning as a result.
The narrative that Brown is a liar is now stuck on him and won’t go away, even the Labour heartlands are now having second thoughts about returning him for five more years – even if it means having the Tories back in…
thanks for your comments Steve.
Did you see the father on there yesterday whose son has just returned from duty and again said that he was having to buy equipment?
As we know, a lot of the service personnel do come from deprived areas of the country, especially where there are no other jobs for them.
It is an absolute scandal that Brown had lied and every one is giving him the benefit of the doubt and won’t say that he lied. Brown has been chancellor and PM now for over 13 years. It is not credible that he didnt understand the defence budget figures. He hasn’t even had the decency to apologise.
If you have sons or daughters who have served or are still serving out there now, as just an ordinary punter, I dearly would love to thank you all for the sacrfices you make and especially if you have lost loved ones.
I am a coward and could never ever do what you do in a million years. Thank God we have courageous people like you.
Thank you all, you are all truly heroes.
It’s a shame we have to put up with those who play politics with these peoples lives.
It’s an even bigger shame some are intent on sending them into the slaughterhouse for another five years to play yet more politics with these peoples lives instead of getting the TROOPS OUT NOW.
How come the 1 or 2 years’ reduction in defence spending is really 4 years? Surely Gordon, the mastermind of finance, should know the precise number of years.
It was a reasonably well balanced ?Time. David Starkie was great! I could listen to more of him – telling it as it is.
Caroline Lucas was all muddled up and inconsistent, AND annoying – silly eyebrows.
Lansley ok, but ever so slightly boring.
Kennedy fairly coherent, but
Margaret Beckett – does she really go around the world with that permanently supercilious half smile written all over her face?
Anon, it is indeed not credible that Brown didn’t know he had the figures wrong, but everyone is too polite to directly accuse the holder of such high office of being a liar.
Shows how much the office of PM has been debased by the current incumbent. Question Time last night showed what Labour’s ‘core vote’ demographics think of Gordon Brown, I hope they have the guts to give him the kicking he so richly deserves in 48 days’ time.
RIP 275 brave men and women, and may we look after those they have left behind. The interviews with Christine Schmit yesterday made so many cry with her strength and humility.
Unite, and the two unions that formed it, received the public money under two little-known funds to improve management and training for its members.
It has been the biggest beneficiary of one of the schemes, the Union Modernisation Fund, and received a sixth of all the money given out under the Union Learning Fund.
The figures have led to fresh claims that Britain’s biggest union has taken over the Labour Party after donating almost £30million over the past decade and employing a key adviser to Gordon Brown as its political director.
you gotta pick a pay packet or two yooooooo,ve gotta pick a pay packet or two. voluntary contributions are of course accepted

Brothers – or ‘Guys’ as we now call one another – it’s too early to judge me. Give me three more terms and you’ll see the fruits.
We’ve already seen all we want of “fruit” Mandlebum, but thanks for the offer!
Brown spoke to the Foreign Press Association this morning. Not so many ‘varlues’ this time… quite a few ‘poo-rest’ and a ‘fizzle’ – ‘fizzle material’, in fact. Huh? What’s that? Sparklers?… OIC.. FISSILE! As I am laid up, and not really willing to listen to deeper meaning of El Gordo’s claptrap, I played that good old favourite: “Count the ‘glow-balls’.” Here is how to play ‘Glowball’… As you lie there, or for most of you sit or stand there, you shout ‘Hooray – 1′ when you hear ‘glow-ball’, ‘Hooray -2′ and so on. I got to ‘Hooray – 33′ this time before the Stalinist buffoon sat down. Cheered me up no end.
Gordon Brown initiates urgent investigations into bribery, corruption, child abuse, drug abuse, theft and fraud allegations committed by previous and current members of House of Lords and Commons. The investigation to commence with the mafia north of the English Border.
You mean the musical about a country about to be taken over by the right?
And your point would be?
