Flashback 2007 : Brown “I Will Not Let You Down”
Gordon told us at his first Labour Party conference as leader in 2007:
So this is my pledge to the British people:
I will not let you down.
And I will always stand up for you.
He also said
it is because of the strength of the British economy that we are able to steer a path of low inflation, low interest rates and stable growth… with the longest uninterrupted period of economic growth in the history of our country.
Then the economy collapsed…
So this is my pledge to the British people:

We’re all letting you down together.
If you are a Labour supporter surely you will have to admit here,
that this GOV is a total disaster?
Hands up if you hate Labour!!!
Low taxes Small Government Civic Responsibility
Like you grandmother told you = taxes and the state are evil.
No more boom, but plenty of bust.
And the longest recession in history
And the last country in the world to leave recession
And the last person to take any blame or apologise for anything
And the fat cnut who thinks that our troops are well resourced in far off lands, as several a week come back in wooden boxes.
Fuck you Brown, 8 weeks and counting…
Dont forget the bong-eyed-son-of-a fucked-up-manse didnt stand up for us & SOLD US OUT TO EUROPE.
Fucking hypocrite…. Hang the bastard
Selling us out to Europe, lying about provding sufficient funds for our troops in two wars, one of which is illegal, you are right: Gordon should be hanged for treason.
Guido’s PMQs Live Chat highlights available in a nice easy to read compendium of humour and windowlickingness!
Things can only get better
Haha… Hang on a minute, Gordon Brown has apologised for plenty.
As the Matt cartoon in Telegraph pointed out, “Gordon Brown’s apologised to the Dinosaurs for the asteroid that hit the Earth and made them extinct..”
Here’s hoping for a Gordon-Brown-sized asteroid
Re. army funding and the ‘snatch’ landrover story – it’s worth popping over to the EUreferendum blog. [ Richard North is not a bloke to get his facts wrong, and he has form - e.g. he's dug up a lot of the shit about IPCC/Pachauri ]. It was not an issue of finance – it was a massive fuck up by the Army and MoD(PE). The Tories know it – but they would rather slag of Brown, irrespective of the facts.
Anonymous, you are not seriously suggesting that Brown had nothing to do with the funding levels of the MOD are you?
I guess not, but then he was only the most powerful chancellor this country had for over 60 years, but I guess you are right, he had nothing to do with levels of budgets!
FFS!
Mr. Ned.
No. If you read my post, you will notice that I didn’t say that, did I ? The fact is that funding is not the only issue here. Responsibility and blame goes deeper and wider than Brown.
1. There have been a lot of deaths in under-protected vehicles. From EUref
- snatch no use, so replaced by vector at £200M. Which was so bad that it was withdrawn and replaced by … snatch !
- bushmasters. Funding allocated, but not put deployed
2. An old post of Michael Yon’s ( ex US special forces embedded journalist ) UK death due to bomb planted in entrance of compound – troops would rather go over the walls. But no ladder available, which was a frequent problem. They can’t organise themselves ladders ? As you say – FFS.
Do go read.
Have to say that Cameron is going down the pan along with his fool of a shadow chancellor. He makes Clegg look good and that is saying something. Gordon will win, sure of that today.
Like Nick Robinscum of the BBC, you are looking through your fucked up rose coloured glasses. The Labour slugs are revolting and will be booted out. Sooner the better.
You didn’t watch PMQ’s then? Or you are clearly delusional and are having hallucinations.
Rose – go f–k yourself – there’s a good woman – perhaps a lie down in your room at the home for the mentally bewildered?
VOTE LABOUR TO KEEP THAT LUNATIC DAVID CAMERON OUT OF NUMBER 10 DOWNING STREET
Is being thick, stupid and ignorant of the needs of others a qualification for being such a pig ignorant twat? No, is the answer, it’s the GCSE of Labour.
Don’t shout, Martin.
It’s all going splendidly.
I wonder whether Brown is more deluded than those who support him? Even his own party have tried to get rid of the one-eyed slug. Rose, did you lend Gordon your fucked up glasses?
They have tried to get rid of him TWICE!, in fact the labour Government has collapsed in to total dissaray and inter-trabal warfare every year for the last 4 years!
2006, threatened to topple Blair and only gave up when he gave a commitment and a date to quit.
2007, got rid of Blair.
2008 aborted coup of Brown
2009 another aborted coup of Brown
2010, last chance, incompetent and chicken-shit attempt to get rid of Brown before the election.
Labour fall back on the corruption skills of that crook Mandelscum to get them out of the shit.
The only reason Brown is still in power is because the rest of the labour parliamentary party are even more incompetent, inept, cowardly, corrupt and fucking useless that that useless, cowardly sack of shit Brown, himself.
You shouldn’t feel you have to shout ……..are you still taking the increased dosage, Martin ?
Oh ….and how are the anger management classes going ?
Martin will you please stop shouting, I am trying to watch Coronation Street.
Says the man who backs the one eyed beheamouth…
Gordon says today, quote BBC headline “The economic storm is not over”
Gordon, IT IS FOR YOU-you are off soon!!!
The curse of the one-eyed son of the manse was in effect back then too.
in fact, wasn’t it the moment he came in that we had Foot & Mouth and some other stuff?
People knew the economic problems were coming – I remember Andrew Neil saying it when reporting from the Labour conference when it was thought that Brown might not gamble and do the election then, when in fact it was gambling it to not do it given the economic situation on the horizon.
Just shows how blind the one-eyed one is, and how cursed that the problems were worse than expected – no not cursed, just incompetent.
http://ua.am/9rd5
They must have adjusted his medication again…
In the same way a certain Scottish, financial genius “adjusted” the economy
Fuck looser Brown, Nick Hogan, the publican who was imprisoned for refusing to be an ant-smoking Blocwart has been released today after we bloggers and posters raised his ransom in a day and a half right here on the net.
Now we’ll see what MSM is on the side of the stasis. Look out in the MSM for those who DON’T feature this!
Saw Cameron lose his rag in Parliament today. Decided not to vote for him now, he seems childish and dodgy. Don’t know how to vote from now on.
You fool nobody you twat.
‘Don’t know how to vote from now on’
Don’t worry, when you turn 18 you’ll get a letter from your MP explaining how.
Lucky you, maybe if you’re really, really lucky you’ll get a letter from Ed Noballs&NoBrains congratulationg you on now being old enough to vote & asking if you’ve voted in the two previous elections – presumably as a Labour postal voter. h/t GF.
Why not vote for Brown, then, who never loses his temper?
Sapper by name sap by nature. Its about time Cameron got angry like the rest of us. Arse wipe = Brown.
I think he meant to say “I will always step over you”
Need to borrow about 500 million a day to sustain a 180 billion deficit, never mind Gordon has vowed to half this by 2014, when we only be borrowing 250 million a day.
i cant describe how much i despise him it is actually painfull
My glands are up as a result of the painful, one eyed twattish clown…
[No Mandy, not that gland]
Are you sure Lord G?….you sure it was Gordons fault?…Hmmmm?….I think you will find it’s Ashcroft’s fault your glands are painful.
That Gordon managed to let down the extraordinarily low expectations I had for him to begin with is nothing short of a miracle.
LOL
As you say
Then the economy collapsed…
and the whole of the rest of the shebang…
Has no one told him ?!
All this Brown bashing is irrelevant now that the wheels have come off the Cameron PR machine!
f*ck *ff m*t* (you supply the vowels!)
I seem to remember an episode of HIGNFY with Clarkson in the chair where he came right out and said what we were all thinking – Gordon Brown was mentioned, and Jezza just said “He’s a c’unt”. Back in 2007, IIRC.
Or is my memory playing tricks on me again?
Tragically, you may never find out. The repeat channels co-owned by BBC Worldwide and Virgin Media don’t just drop the sound, but pixellate over people’s mouths when they replay shows with swearing.
Odd deal: 50/50 co-ownership means there’s no clear way to overcome deadlock.
Skillfully removed, if you don’t mind
Balls
Jonah Jonahed the economy and himself.
Football fans must be delighted he wasn’t allowed on MOTD2 to plug the 2018 World Cup bid.
So this is my pledge to the British people: I will not let you down. And I will always stand up for you. G Brown

And mine you double C*nt.
Make that a treble.
ACE ACE FUCKING ACE !!!!
Bloody brilliant!
Strictly true, I suppose. He didn’t let us down, he crushed us down. And he stood up on the prostrate victims.
At least Gordon Brown doesn’t give cast iron guarantees like that turd, David Cameron
Didn’t Liebour promise a referendum on the EU constitution, then renege on it when they knew we would give the wrong answer..?
Yes. Tat – splat
Dave should offer us a yes/no referendum on whether we should publicly execute McDoom for treason.
And if the outcome is ‘no’, he should, in true EU tradition, hold another referendum, and another, and another, until we give the right answer.
Which I suspect we will, first time round.
Once again the TwAT is ALWAYS wrong.
you see the mentality of the typical Labour supporter. Equates something someone said in the distant past with what a PM stated in an election manifesto.
The British people are just total dumbfucks they really are and deserve everything they are about to get
Lies and smears its what Labour do but do well. If only they ran the country as well.
FFS!!!
Speaking of shite-you’d know all about that?
Has this slob ever spoken a true word?
NO………next question please !!
Albert Pierrepoint let people down too. Literally.
He had a lot of hangers on though.
This is old noose.
The Great Western Railway used to lay on special Excursion Trains when there was a hanging in Bodmin Gaol – not that anyone ever saw much. Still, it was day out, and Justice was served.
Does a railway line stop near Downing Street?
central line goes to Marble Arch which is the correct spot
but they weren’t disappointed for long…………
A wee drop that never hurt anyone (again). Money for old rope.
Labour always run out of money in the end…
Our money
And my children’s money
Yes
But they have never DOUBLED public debt like this
From 44 to 99 % of GDP
That’s just the on-balance sheet debt.
Add in PFI, and we’re up at around 300% and rising.
Wheelbarrow futures and a career in cabaret beckon…
They never had any to start with, they just turned to printing it instead!
actually i think you’ll find thanks to the quantitative easing fairy they can just keep on inventing more and more pixie dust sterling until we achieve parity with zimbabwe and invite uncle bob to come and show us how to finish off what gordon has started…..
Love that pic, so butch!
Ooh, you are awful …
‘hello honky tonks, how are you ?’
Robinson’s at it again, comparing Brown with Churchill.
“Brown presents himself as a modern-day Churchill”
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/nickrobinson/2010/03/brown_presents_himself_as_a.html
It’s all part of the BBC/Labour plan to scare voters into voting labour (ie “vote for us because the tories will take away your jobs, your money, and then eat your children”)
It is getting harder to believe this unchallenged cr*p coming out of the beeb, the air time this man is getting ahead of the official annoucement is UNEXCEPTABLE!
and it’s UNACCEPTABLE too!
Apologises, I got carried away with the moment!
spelling mistake tax send 50p to me
heh.. Gordon Brown has been misspelling his name for years. (Should be prefixed by an assorted array of adjectives/expletives)
It’s very troubling – it might put people off voting Labour
ha ha
Wouldn’t that involve the power of thought?..
People like Nick Robinson should be shot after the election, treat bastards like him the same way as the Russians treated Nazi sympathisers when they rolled into Berlin.
His constant comparisons of Brown with Churchill make me want to puke.
What a complete and utter fucking bastard.
For fuck’s sake; I pay that wanker’s wages, the snivelling fucking shit.
The man deserves a medal

Filth like Robinson don’t deserve a journalistic future, apologist for Zanu-Liebour!
The comparison with Churchill is absurd. Churchill spent years warning us of impending doom then took over to lead us out a crisis which was not of his making. Brown would listen to no one and spent years getting us into this doom laden situation and his only solution to get us out is to bankrupt the country.
When Brown was telling Robinson today that the deficit was necessary to get us thru the recession, might he not have asked if Brown regretted running a deficit in the boom years? Cameron might well be hopeless but the easy time given to a PM who has presided over the biggest economic disaster this country has seen is unbelievable.
““Brown presents himself as a modern-day Churchill””
Jane Churchill, presumably.
Ohh Yesss
Let’s hope he suffers Churchill’s fate in 1945.
Churchill the fucking stupid ugly dog you mean!
Don’t hate me but I am glad. None of them are fit to be in public office. Ss long as the tories are ahead I’ll say goodo to Mr Nick. Keep those tories dead pegging with Broon. Then maybe the entire system will fall to bits as it deserves to. Lived under both of them and never seen a thought from them beyond the next election.
Sounds more like a modernised something that Captain Ahab would say, while sailing on the SS Great Britain. My hearties.
What’s the difference between Britain and Zimbabwe?
One is ran by an mad unelected despot, the other is ran by Robert Magabe.
I’d like to know what he’s thinking in the picture.
He’s almost got a “Come hither, young man” look about him….
looks like Mandy’s just out of shot, giving him a blow job
Here’s a jolly little song and to really enjoy the above photograph just sing along, remembering to replace all references to Dancing Queen with ‘Mincing Queen’
Here’s one for the Prime Mincer.
fuck the bbc dont pay the tax that would fuck em see what jobs the cretinous lefties would get on planet earth ,cnuts
If ever there were someone who is simply unequipped to be a prime minister, it is Gordon Brown. Today’s PMQs provided an insight into this man’s modus operandi.
When he was asked about defence funding by Cameron at PMQs, he responded with a jibe about Ashcroft. In the background, Labour toadies howled “Tory stooges” to describe senior officers who have dared to question Brown’s commitment to British soldiers.
That, to me, sums up that appalling creature in Number 10 and his wretched, dysfunctional piece of shit government. Hundreds of servicemen and hundreds of thousands of innocents have died in wars started by his government, yet he cannot muster an iota of statesmanship when asked to address legitimate concerns about the safety of troops. He prefers to yah boo about Ashcroft.
Tony Blair would at least have paid lip-service to the question; he would understand that millions of Britons are far more worried about these seemingly unending wars than some Westminster spat about who knew what about Ashcroft. He would have given an appropriate response.
With Brown, everything is reduced to partisan politics: he is petty, spiteful, hubristic, dishonest and biologically incapable of accepting blame for anything; he is driven by hatred and resentment, craves power for power’s sake and seeks to crush all dissenting opinion. As Guido points out, his is the politics of destruction.
I have no emotional attachment to any political party but I want nothing more than to see the back of him and his cabal of tax-funded bullyboys. I simply do not care who takes Brown’s place.
Never in my 40 years have I despised a politician as much I despise James Gordon Brown.
Tony?
on balance, Brown may even be outstripping Tony as the most contemptible, self-serving and hypocritical PM ever
100% agreement with you Clarence.
Well said, Clarence.
This walking, talking Brown turd is proof positive of the validity of The Peter Principle.
The English people have a message for you, ‘Piss off back to Scotland and leave us alone!’
Poor old Scotland.
Sorry, Brown is staying for another five years. Possibly ten.
He’s acting as the “First Minister of the 9 Regions South of Scotland” (formerly known as simply “England”), since he can do pretty much fuck all elsewhere.
Respect your First Minister of the 9 Regions South of Scotland.
Surely ‘Scotland’ is consigned to the archives as well. How many administrative départements have they been sliced up into?
Wallace would have knighted the git for what he has done to England. He’s done what braveheart could’nt & brought this country to it’s knees. YOU’LL NEVER TAKE OUR FREEDOM to vote!!!
And Grommet would have bit his butt.
Apparently Dan Brown is soon to publish a new blockbuster novel called ‘The McCavity Code’, based on secret archives he has unearthed in the British Museum.
The plot line is, that after the ‘Battle of Culloden’ in 1746, the defeated chieftains of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s army, fled to a castle near Inverness and formed a society called ‘The Brotherhood of the Sporran’, their aim was to destroy the English crown by stealth, by infiltrating parliament, the military and the banks.
Their plans are coming to fruition after 250 years of plotting, key members of this most secret society are Gordon Brown (the Great Sporran), Alistair Darling, Michael Martin, Tom McKillop, Fred Goodwin, Menzies Campbell and many other Scots prominent in public life.
His eyesight is so poor these days..
It should have read: I will not let you down slowly….
Technically, he’s right. When he got into Number 10 everyone said, “I bet he’ll be even worse than Blair”.
What IS the latest news on Cyclops’ failing eye? Anyone? Anyone?
get you Guido
Just realised that the cost of debt-interest is now £30billion. The Barnet forumula transfers £30bn from England to Scotland. Scots are moody independence thumpers. I say we sell it.
who’d buy it?
Nobody in their right mind would buy Scotland!!
A giant Neanderthal Theme park?
hmmm. how tall are you?
Too late… Donald Trump already has.
BNP Paribas put it out to the French (!) public today
British public debt has risen from 44.1% of GDP before the collapse to 99.7% now…………
That represents financial devastation of the country on a massive scale
Brown and Balls at the Treasury must be the maddest, most incomptent clusterfuckers the financial world has ever seen…
And of course Teflon Tony never even knew about it !!
BNP – talking Britain down.
Apparently Hilary Benn’s worried that Brown will have a Sarkozy moment, and has been scurrying round all day with his back to the wall…
You have to admire their finesse in stopping just short of a round 100%. Can’t be long before it does: someone ought to put a clock on it. Over to you, Guidans and Guidettes…
Brown says that Labour will make huge cuts in public spending without affecting front line services.
This means either that waste in the public sector under Labour has been positively gargantuan or that Labour is lying. Both are clear reasons not to re-elect them.
If it is possible to trim the public sector without affecting frontline services, I am absolutely positive that the Conservatives would do it. No political party causes pain for the sake of it. (Apart from Labour; the motives behind a lot of their actions appear to be solely vengeful in many cases).
He will make cuts, whilst at the same time making ‘investments’.
He will spend, spend, spend whilst at the same time cut the deficit in half in 4 years.
In fact he will do everything he can. It is the right thing to do. He won’t let you down. It is not his fault, it’s Ashcroft’s
AND the “Generals”…..bloody army ….. Tories the lot of them!!!!!!
Yes. I think he’ll come to regret this morning. It’s all down in Hansard too. Forever.
Labour cuts good, Tory cuts bad – that’s what we will here from the whole lying lot of them for the next two months.
Don’t expect any help from the “Civil” Service or the quangocrats either, all now stuffed with placepersons
http://conservativehome.blogs.com/thetorydiary/2010/02/a-conservative-government-can-leave-conservativehating-quangocrats-in-place-and-draw-out-the-pain-or.html
It’s a scorched earth policy at the moment, has been for the last year or so; they’re doing it out of sheer spite.
They’ll be signing as many unnecessary pfi contracts with the worst terms possible as they can, and all that cost will be off the balance sheet and hidden so the tories won’t be able to know about them before the election.
The tories will then get into power, and find that in the few months leading up to the election, Brown deliberately put the uk tax payer in hock for about an extra half a trillion quid purely on new pfi contracts that weren’t even needed.
The get-out clauses drawn up will be such that if the tories wanted to cancel any of the mad schemes that Brown agreed to, the cost to get out of the contract will be double the value of the contract itself.
Cameron’ll be stuck with half a trillion quid of pointless contracts which he has no option but to pay.
The only way round it would be to somehow change the law so that the contracts can be breached without having to pay the full get-out costs, but I don’t think that’ll be legally possible because of the EU.
You’ll see pfi contracts like “we’ll pay you half a million quid to dig a 2 foot hole in a sandpit, and we’ll pay you a million every year to maintain that hole for the next 20 years. To get-out of the contract the government will agree to pay you 500million”, and there’s going to be a fuck of a lot of those around which’ll only see the light of day after the election.
The labour machine will be very very busy at the moment, trying to borrow/spend/print as much cash as physically possible. They’re in election mode, but on the sidelines their main task is to ruin the economy as much as possible but without people knowing about it until it’s too late.
Spot on Anonymous, there is a whole bag of shit to be found by the incoming government. The recent PFI contracts are ludicrously one-sided and the current sticking-of-fingers-in-ears by the government over the defecit is only making the future problems worse for all of us.
57 days and counting…
If it is the case that civil servants are following orders which are against the national interest they will be liable to disciplinary proceedings and instant dismissal when their actions come to light.
The incoming Government will be looking for reasons to reduce the headcount, and such actions would bring the person concerned to the top of the list for redundancies.
Well, why not have a new law for Economic crimes?
We could make it retrospective and prosecute the decision makers.
And so – anyone making a clearly stupid decision
would face the consequences.
It would be grounds for instant dismissal
and withdrawal of pension rights
In time we could apply the same to bankers.
Why should people be allowed to do these things
without fear of the consequences?
Clearly people can’t be trusted, so you need a law,
one that would benefit the economy.
Could we have it as a hanging offence? I’d like a day out to watch the current Cabinet doing a bit of dangling.
Now you’re talking.
Well we’ve got to do it.
If you don’t have rules, they all behave like stroppy five year olds,
and we, the voters, are the ones enslaved.
Sort this out and we can lower taxes,
stop the Casino Investment mentality
and get the economy back on track.
When you say ‘stop the Casino mentality’, I imagine that you’re talking about Labour, with its amazing ability to believe that there really, really is a crock of Gold at every Rainbow’s End, that A Ponzi Scheme is morally repugnant and financially irresponsible – unless it is a Socialist Ponzi Scheme (“National Insurance” e.g.), that – like the most darling daughter in a rich family – there will always be someone else to pay the bill, square the Authorities, put off the Press…
Stop that, and you won’t have much to worry about!
Actually Jethro,
the Casino mentality is a reference to Investment Banking,
and I think Government has copied the approach with
speculative ventures like PFI.
Sadly I think the Tories will carry on in the same vein.
They did initiate PFI, after all…
Of course, the other thing which CMD should do is to immediately put all the PFI and PPP shite back on the balance sheet where it belongs, making a clean breast of things as it were. The Public Finance office and the ONS (not to mention the abortion which is Eurostat) have already said that this stuff should be in the nation’s accounts – adding them to the nation’s debt half way through a Tory government if forced to will bring cries of ‘this is what we left you, look where debt is now’ from the Oppo benches.
A job for Georgie-boy at the time of the budget which is supposed to take place within 90 days, I believe. Has the added advantage of showing the colossal waste of the last 13 years. Accountants will also be able to value the future costs (i.e. the state – we – often don’t even own the assets at the end of the contract) and add them to the current indebtedness. The rating agencies already know about PFI, so it won’t make things any worse than they already are. Might even score brownie points for un-Greek style accounting…
Agreed, if the terms of the schemes are made public,
they are less easy to sustain, no matter what the contract says.
This might explain some of it? Useless overspending on targets and middle management

Scary
Yes, well sadly when you are a Bureaucracy, the only solution to any problem is…more bureaucracy.
There’s little point measuring things unless you are willing to take action, and implementation is no-one’s strong point.
bye scotland dont forget to take the retards with you, been nice knowing you NOT
No wonder the Romans just walled it off from the rest of the country, so they could get on with civilization.
He just stands up, lies, slants stats, brushes off criticism and carries on – he is like that character in Terminator. The Oil tanker crashes and explodes but out he walks.
How did Arnie get rid of him in the end?
Boiled him in molten steel, if I remember rightly.
Maybe we should hire some ex-Corus workers – I’m sure they’d happily oblige!
Where would you find a vat of molten steel?
Ask Mr Mittall
He owns them all
Poland?
No, you’re thinking of Terminator 2.
The original Terminator was crushed in a big hydraulic press.
There must still be a few factories around with such equipment…
But why do the electorate still tell the pollsters that they’re going to vote for this lying mad man? Either people are just winding the pollsters up or they are genuinely keen for another 5 years of Bonkers Brown the Bully doing the opposite of the right thing and never apologising for his mistakes. Somebody wake me up with the nightmare is over.
Dont’ believe the polls…
Part of Mandelscum’s spiining
Thats all
It will get the Tory vote out though…
Exactly half those that say they will vote Labour don’t actually turn out to vote particularly if it;s raining and there’s “Corrie” showing on the box and YouGov weights the polls in favour of Labour to compensate.
The only poll that matters is the one on 6 May
By Kerrist I hope you’re right, “Just stating the obvious”.
Five more years of THIS???
Watched Jeremy kyle’s show lately..
most people on the kyle show thankfully don’t vote…its not that they don’t want to, but every time they get up to the booth they keep forgetting how to spell x
WILL THE NIGHTMARE EVER END?
7th May, about 12 noon when the majority of results are in!
and the madness continues up to the budget and beyond and the sheeple will vote for it and then be burnt badly after the election.
I just totally despair I really do
Gordon Brown won’t rule out pre-election ‘giveaway’ in Budget
Gordon Brown has refused to rule out spending more public money on a “giveaway” pre-election Budget later this month.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/7414648/Gordon-Brown-wont-rule-out-pre-election-giveaway-in-Budget.html
He also refused to say whether or not he thought the UK credit rating was important.
He didn’t just refuse to say that he’d do his best to maintain a good rating, he actually refused to even admit that the rating was of any importance whatsoever.
That’s scary.
I doubt there’s anyone in Britain less suited to the role of PM than Brown.
Other than Ed Balls and Harriet Harman, obviously.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/britains-aaa-credit-rating-in-jeopardy-warns-agency-1918948.html
Just this quote from McBust in the Telegraph article proves, beyond any doubt, that the man has zero self awareness:
“Character is not about telling people what they want to hear but about telling them what they need to know,” he said.
“It is about having the courage to set out your mission and the courage to take the tough decisions and stick to them without being blown off-course, even when the going is difficult.
He added: “For better or for worse, with me what you see is what you get.”
What an absolute penis. What does he know about telling people what they need to know? What does he know about making tough decisions and sticking to them? Don’t make me laugh – he bends in the wind of public opinion, stumbling from one knee jerk reaction policy to the next. Un-fucking-believable…
Spot on Lord G.
He also drew a contrast between his own character and that of David Cameron, suggesting that the Conservative leader was not personally qualified to manage the economy.
So it’s ‘character’ that qualified the one-eyed to be the Chancellor of the Exchequer? FFS.
I thought it was arse-licking Tony Blair that got him the job as Chancellor?
Still at the end of the day he was a first class Chancellor of the Exchequer. It’s not as if anything has gone wrong since he took over the running of the economy.
“For better or for worse, with me what you see is what you get.”
Not quite, because whenever he opens his mouth it’s always a blatent lie using erroneous implicit hidden reasoning.
Say: “I’m going to abolish the lowest rate tax band”
Mean: “I’m going to double the lowest rate tax band”
erroneous implicit hidden reasoning behind his original statement was:
“Ah, but I was assuming that you knew (even though I never told anyone) that I would adjust the middle band so that it starts in the same place as the lower band did. Technically I was telling the truth, you see? It’s just that you never understood what I was thinking in my own head but never said.”
I think what he meant to say was:
“For better or for worse, with me what you get is a lying evil negligent fuckwit”
I think that the best ever comment I saw to one of McTwat’s classic non-answers was the chap who quite clearly and calmly wrote :
“You seem to to think that making a statement that is true within itself and applying it to a particular situation is the same as telling the truth about that situation. Either you’re lying to yourself or you’re lying to us, but regardless of the circumstances, you know you’re lying.”.
“Character is not about telling people how fucked we are but about telling them what Lord Ashcroft spends his money on,” we said.
How’s that history re-appeared to embarrass our Great Leader, strange I thought Syme had committed this Brownian History to the flames down the memory hole before he was found out as a traitor and vaporized!
The Office for National Statistics estimates that between 1997 and 2008 public sector efficiency fell by 3.4 per cent, while in the private sector it rose by 27.9 per cent. Had public servants matched their private sector counterparts in this period, then the country would £58.4 billion better off.
Neil O’Brien, Policy Exchange.
Says it all really, that £58.4bn is 3.5% of GDP…

He’s a tit!
I’ve seen better (but don’t tell the Wife! – now, there’s a quaint old-fashioned word!)
In 2007 the housing market looked seriously over valued, but apart from that was there much of an indication things were shafted?
I can remember being puzzled by the stuff in budgets about “we’ll pay for all this with future growth” – but really, I can’t remember much else. (oh, apart from being very pessimistic about the house price bubble, but that was since 2004).
I am asking this on the odd chance that in 20 years time, when everyone has forgotten all about this, I’ll be ready to spot the signs.
Be honest. Did anyone really think it’d end up like this?
I thought it was Brown’s job as Chancellor to make sure we didn’t get into this mess. It’s hardly the fault of folks stacking the shelves in Tesco. Brown was supposed to spot the warning signs and set targets for borrowing, growth, inflation, interest rates which would mean we were prepared for a down turn – like John Howard did in Australia. But no, Brown mortgage the country in the boom years – not something the BBC likes to point out.
so thats a no then. you didn’t spot it either.
Never mind the folks in tesco, the other politicians might have been supposed to notice. At the time.
Sockpuppet
Yes I did and on the day Labour walked into No 10 in 1997 I said
“it will all end in tears it always does with Labour governments’
Nothing since has changed my mind
Brown blew the inherited surplus bequeathed by the outgoing Tories, and started running deficit economies from 2001 onwards, the so-called ‘global’ recession came as manna from Heaven for NuLab.
Best place to hide a murder is on a battlefield.
I think that what you are referring to his the disingenuous (lying) way he presented a Budget, for example, most tax rises where six to twelve months away. Therefore people forgot they were there until it hit their pockets. I think the gentleman that mentioned piano wire should be listened to.
Very soon we will be holding an election.
I would like you to know that we, the Labour party are the only ones who will offer you the chance to star on Big Brother. Vote for us and you will be automatically entered into the draw for your moment of fame.
You may vote as many times as you can to increase your odds of winning.
PS: if you don’t vote Labour, your limbs will fall off and your head will turn itself inside out.
Is that Huhne gay?
Google it.
Jonah cursed the economy.
My simple plan to save the country from the mong-eyed-twat:
1. We install electronic voting booths – wired up to the local electricity pylon.
2. Anyone that presses the “Vote Labour” button, gets 40,000 volts straight up their index finger.
3. We burn the smouldering carcasses of the ex-Labour voters in power stations. Free power for a while….
4. The welfare problem will obviously be sorted out even before Cameron enters Downing Street – most claimants will be no longer be alive.
5. The pension time bomb will be fixed – at the press of a button
6. etc……
As plans go, that’s a very good one.
Sorry Guido but the BBC tells us that Gordon is a genius a man who makes Einstein look like a mong, a man who has saved the world more often than Bruce Willis and has a fantastic wife.
It’s those Tory bastards who have ruined things, the BBC says so.
http://conservativehome.blogs.com/.a/6a00d83451b31c69e20120a9085d5e970b-pi
It’s a well-accepted fact taught to all pupils in state schools from the age of 4 that that nasty wicked Mrs Thatcher was evil and to blame for Mummy and Daddy having lost their jobs and that only nice “Uncle Gordon” has made sure that they will have lots of lovely money to pay for sweeties and buns and things ! So tell Mummy and Dayy that they have to vote for “Uncle Gordon” or you’ll scweam and scweam and make yourself sick !!
…and if Mummy and Daddy (Or Mummy and Mummy or Daddy and Daddy…) don’t vote for that lovely Uncle Gordon, just denounce them as being smokers. Or drinkers. Or tell someone they go fox hunting. Have they had Rover chipped and paid their dog tax ?
When it’s Maggie’s turn will Labour politicians be as kind as Cameron was about their ex-leader? Probably not, she wasn’t a Soviet spy after all.
Who’s this ‘Maggie’ you’re on about?
Oh well, it must be true then…
With Liebor, nothing ever changes, some of you may be too young to remember this, I remember it like it was yesterday:
at least Harold smoked a pipe
Only for the voters, in private it was cigars all the way.
“Britain faces the gravest economic crisis since the War”
Harold Wilson
Brown fancies himself (as Churchill, no less!).
He is delusional.
Ohhh yesssss.
He has the same jaw drop as me.
look on the bright side churchills dead!
A lot of anti scottish comments on here today..not very nice …not very nice at all.
Shame, and Alex Salmond too claiming he’s not being treated fairly by the BBC as it’s more like an English Broadcasting Corporation – what fucking planet is he on today.
not this one.
He is! England is just about the only country on the planet that doesn’t have its own parliament. Says all you need to know about the English and why England is going down the toilet….
You’re quite right. The Welsh have been getting off far too lightly.
Had the compulsion to shout at my car radio this morning when I heard some Taffy Labour Councillor first describe £3million of Tax Payer’s money as “a small budget” to put on some fatuous, inane, right-on, theatrical production in the Valleys, THEN go on to describe the production as a “BENEFIT OF DEVOLUTION!!!!”
The problem is that these people justify their own existence by spending other peoples’ money. (Well, if they didn’t spend money, what would be the point of their job?)
I’m sorry but I’m still ANGRY ABOUT THIS!
How many “teachers and nurses” does three-million-QUID by for a year?!
Evidently, by quick calculations of the GordonBrown-Death-Tax Calculamalatororrer, that’s:
£3,000,000 / £20,000 = 150 elderly people cared for and looked after in their twilight years FOR FREE!
Please don’t tell me “Tax = Investment = Essential Services”
Dear Mr Benn,
What was the deal with that Shopkeeper? It seemed as if he was facilitating not just your love of cross-dressing but your preference for living in fantasy worlds. Is there anything which you would like to share with the group?
What Brown has done to Britain, first as chancellor and then as prime minister, is unforgiveable. If this wretched man wins the election, I’ll leave the country, and I think there are many, many others who’ll do the same. Britain can’t take another 5 years of New Labour’s corruption and incompetence.
Vote for me and I will get you out of the hole i got you in
We’ve seen the books. We’ve already scarpered.
Can’t we sue?.. I mean it goes well beyond negligence and incompetence?
Nah, it was all accidental. There’s no way two Scotch PMs and two Scotch Chancellors in succession would deliberately leave England financially smashed and socially ruined, is there?
Perish the thought.
On Mothering Sunday Gordo will not be cooking Sarah a British roast orm indeed giving her the roasted pig sent from the middle east – instead he will be answering questions on netmums. ask yours here:
http://www.netmums.com/coffeehouse/live-webchats-657/gordon-brown-mothers-day-chat-679/394259-ask-gordon-brown-your-own-question.html
Gordon? Cook? Only if the fire-brigade are on standby.
The Conservatives had recently won the 1992 general election, and the Gallup poll for September showed a 2.5% Conservative lead. By the October poll, following Black Wednesday, their share of the intended vote in the poll had plunged from 43% to 29%,[7] while Labour jumped into a lead which they held almost continuously (except for several brief periods such as during the 2000 Fuel Protests) until David Cameron (who had ironically been working for Norman Lamont at the time of Black Wednesday)
no more boom and bust
no more Marxist treason
..until the next time
My Darling Husband is a brilliant prime minister & I insist that you are respectful towards him at all time. The British people don’t know how lucky they are to have the best British leader ever.
So tell us Sarah, love, how many ex-girlfriends have you got?
Its ok Gordon, I’ve voted Labour for ninety years or so and I really don’t mind if you let me down. You need a good rest and should spend some time with your lovely pills.
I know I would and I haven’t been Prime Minister yet.
Ballsian endogenous growth theory

(Tune — Eton Boat Song?)
was that the prudent chancellor?
Guido, you’ve completely fail to grasp the nature and target audience of Brown’s utterances.
His ‘I wont let you down’ bollocks is aimed at his client state:
Professional benefits scroungers, disability fraudsters, public sector paper shufflers, those immigrants who can speak English, the Scotch, the supporters of statism the BBC/Police etc.
You are making a huge miscalculation if you think those parasites listed above care two shits where the money is coming from, or the damage his profligacy is causing.
I work at a university, an academic there couldn’t understand how I could be a conservative supporter when ‘It’s Labour that give us all the money’ (not a clue about the economy and a lecturer in the business school ffs)
How many companies has he run?
I hate Labour with a vengeance, a working class boy with aspirations and an education, everything they despise and detest.
The thought of another four years of this lying, gurning idiot is too much to bear. But why am I even worried ? Because our on ehope of ending this, the Conservative Party, is unable to score a goal in front of an open net week after week.
My mother in law is staying with me at the moment, in her 70′s, a lifeling Tory who is now considering voting for Brown.
I cannot control my rage. But why would she do that ? Because she has NO IDEA what she will get if she votes Tory. She thinks Brown is a disaster, but “you know where you stand with him”. WTF… There are thousands more like her, and when I discuss it, I see her point.
The c**t is made of Teflon, nothing sticks, yet here we go, this week, it’s all about Lord Ashcroft, and that’s all we hear about.
Chilcott ? Arms spending ? You could have wiped the floor…. another wasted chance.
And what does Dave do ? Jesus, he looked like a public schoolboy throwing a strop today, he should have KILLED Brown. What about their dodgy peers ? NOTHING….
Dave, George, gather round, listen here…
GROW SOME GONADS. GET YOUR MESSAGE OUT. START TELLING THE PEOPLE WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO. STOP WIMPING OUT. SHOW CHARACTER.
Jesus, what’s fucking wrong with you people, any more of this shit and I may not bother voting, I am just gonna convince myself it’s no longer worth it.
What she’ll get with Labour is probably a compulsory £20,000 demand for payment for her social care irrespective of whether you look after her or not or whether she uses the services or not and very likely a levy on her savings too as part of an increase to IHT rates. So I agree she definietely should now know where she stands with Labour but this just underlines the debacle of Hilton/Coulson’s team strategy to lose the election. Ladies such as her should be a definite Tory vote. The fact they aren’t tells us all we need to know about Tory strategy
Whoever wins, the IMF will be through the door inside of a week so let the detestable, obnoxious, poverty-farming McSnot win and drink from his own heavily poisoned wells.
The government after that can start the long hard road to reconstruction, we may just get out of Liebour’s hole in 25 years time.
Interesting.. my mother, who is also 70 and a lifelong Tory voter, certainly won’t vote Brown but isn’t going to vote Tory, either, because of Cameron’s “all female selection lists”, which she considers to be the same politically correct nonsense she’s had from Labour for 13 years, and because Cameron bottled his Lisbon Treaty referendum, just like Brown did.
My father, 76, a lifelong Conservative supporter hates Brown with a passion but won’t vote Conservative because of Cameron’s socialist and pro-EU tendencies.
I’m 42, voted Labour in 1997, voted Conservative in 2001 and 2005, won’t bother voting Tory this election because, according to Dave, I’m a “fruitcake, loony or closet-racist” for being anti-EU. OK, Dave. Fuck you. Fuck your whole party.
Interesting thought.. return a Labour government and you and your parents will never be able to vote Tory again……….
If the Tories are going to keep putting cocksucking Socialist vermin like Cameron in charge, that’s not really a problem.
There’s always UKIP.
‘My mother in law is staying with me at the moment, in her 70’s, a lifeling Tory who is now considering voting for Brown’
You need to up her medication.
Actually, just give her the lot in one go. This will probably solve your problem.
Funny how many voters desert the Tories on principle, refusing to vote for them knowing the opposition will be worse. That’ll show ‘em !
My parents fell out with the Tories over Thatch’s plans in Northern Ireland and never went back.
Dave and chums are going to fail to win this election the same way, upsetting too many core voters and not offering enough for the floaters.
Sheeeeesh, what a fucking waste.
Nick Hogan released……
Much Respect to everyone who contributed to this total sham, known as British justice.
http://bastardoldholborn.blogspot.com/
The folk who contributed to Nick Hogan’s release are idiots. The state got what it wanted. It got its money and made its point. Nick Hogan’s best revenge on the evil fuckers would have been to refuse any donations and explain that it was costing this evil state 40K a year to jail him and feed him so actually he was ‘up’ on the deal.
Fuck them. Let them fucking jail you and then point out the cost:benefit. But of course it’s not about punishing Nick Hogan. It’s about teaching the rest of us who’s boss.
Starve the beast. Quit work or refuse overtime. Do the minimum. Pay the minimum tax. Starve the fucking thing. I ain’t your slave c*nt. I ain’t working to be taxed at 50% so that you can bung the money to some fucking jackass with a clip-board to come and monitor my compliance with your latest bout of idiocy.
Nick Hogan should have been proud to serve his time. What it needs is a few thousand more Nick Hogans. Fill the fucking jails with those who’ve had enough of being dictated to by utter pricks.
I could not believe my ears this morning when I heard gordon say “I have the character to lead the UK……” Very telling that he thinks it necessary to tell us he has character, just like he tells us he has a moral compass. We all know it’s just more of his lies.
It was so reminiscent of a small child who had had priveleges removed for breaking his toys in a tantrum and was pleading with his Mum to have them restored. ‘I can be good really I can….’ until the next time .
Nell, Gord is much better than Dodgy Dave. Do you really want a toff in charge? Cameron does not care about anything except gaining power.
I think you’re getting the two confused – Gordon is the one who will say and do anything to hold on to power.
Dave might not be the best politician ever, but his party have some good ideas and are far more likely to avoid bank.rupting the country – they at least deserve a chance, we can always kick them out if they turn out to be no good!
no no no thrice no Steve read my posting below and stop resisting the inevitable
Gordon is much better than Dave?
List Gordon’s achievements from the last 13 years. Let’s make it easy: list just one achievement for every year we’ve had to employ him.
Phillip –
I’d much rather have an educated toff than a ‘dumbed down’ chippy, spineless idiot who still hasn’t got over his teenage hang ups.
By referring the the tories as ‘toffs’ – you also reveal your own social hang ups. What has Cameron ever done to you? Whereas Brown has caused mass damage that will ultimately affect all our lives.
It never ceases to amaze me that so many people have a blanket hate of the right wing – regardless of what good they MAY do for the country.
It’s all dog-whistles Nell.
You know where this is going to go – it’ll all be Ashcroft, Ashcroft, Ashcroft – do you trust the character of an Eton toff with a non-dom backer. It’s “Tory sleaze” all over again.
From an optimistic point of view, it’s possible that Liebour don’t actually have that much confidence that a blatant give-away budget will deliver an election for them. Any more than the ramping up of the “go with the big things – big government, big corporates – and be afraid of anything new or otherwise “unknown” rhetoric.
They’ve gone back to what they know so they’ve latched onto the one thing that got them there with Bliar.
Interestingly enough, while the MSM and ZaNu are in a lather about it, I can’t really find anyone who believes it – ZaNu seem to have forgotten that they’re in power just now and the sleaze has stuck all over.
As for McDoom’s “character” :
Prudence – Ditched
Moral compass – Gone South
It’s telling that he thinks it’s important to tell people “what they need to know”. That’s a chilling prospect – Jonah’s definition of what we need to know…
But labour sleaze far out does any tory sleaze.
Tory sleaze was primarily prostitutes and cash for questions.
Labour sleaze is the above PLUS – openly lying, deceiving, cheating & smearing; giving passports to friends (Blunkett & Mandy both guilty of this); fiddling expenses (Jackie Smith springs to mind for her open fraud); social engineering; vote rigging; pornography; bribery; bumping people off…etc etc etc… I could go on and on. Examples of the above sleazy activities are all in the public domain, but the MSM seem to ignore them.
Remember, though, that each of his ‘rabbits out of the hat budgets’ have unravelled under scrutiny. He’s just as liable to cock this one up as well.
I think you will all agree Gordon got his message over very lucidly today…you all also know he is the best man to lead this country for the next five years just look at his track record over the last 13 years both as chancellor and PM……Fantastic growth figures..record investment in the last two years…narrower gap between rich and poor, lower taxes, more exports, stronger pound in fact think of any issue and you are better off for labour having been in power. What about your pensions.. better under labour, cost of living.. down under labour.
Voting labour makes sense you know you should on May the 6th.
I thank you kerching.
Society slams unacceptable payment delays
The Legal Services Commission (LSC) has notified the Law Society that it will be delaying payments to solicitors due in March until the start of the next financial year in April. This is due to the ‘cash position’ in which the LSC finds itself due to obligations demanded of it by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). We have promptly:
• written to the main clearing banks alerting them to the problems that legal aid firms may face as a result of this
• written to the MoJ requesting that the payments are made on time
Gordon Brown Calls for World Constitution
http://www.yaliberty.org/posts/gordon-brown-calls-for-world-constitution
The atmosphere in England at the moment is curiously similar to the last few days in the Fuhrer Bunker. Everything even down to the attack on our cannine friends ( Oh how I miss my Blondie ).
It is a little known fact that I led a perfectly reasonable if somewhat dull life after the war running a small newsagents just outside Limerick. Every now and then my nephew Paddy Hitler would come visit and we would sit around the turf fire and sing the well known Germanic//Gaielege love ballads of yore. I am sure your current Fuhrer has just such a bolt hole in mind and probably a fine singing voice to boot! Dont be too hard on him, being a supreme dictator is a dead end job and indeed i often thought it something of a cruel mistress. Anyhow be careful to keep a watch on the Swansea to Cork Ferry!! and take a look under Gerry Adam’s beard every now and then!!
His ‘sufficiently impatient and strong-willed’ character also got us into the mess while banishing boom
The one thing, in this uncertain world, of which we can be sure is that the Budget will be a stupendous give away. Until, that is, we read of the hidden taxes that The Mong has imposed to pay for his generosity.
For THE MONG…read the lying one eyed fucking twat that is Gordoom.
Too much of a give away and the markets will crash. Got to pitch it just right Alistair, Gordon and Ed. Quite a challenge.
perhaps if Gordon loses well enough he could be get the first minister post in Scotland and then sail the entire dump into the Atlantic and sink it …whilst hes at it perhaps he could hitch up Ireland at the same time.
Yet another example of why I cannot believe a word this bastard says.
Fuck you Brown. The sooner you are roundly fucked off back to Kirkcaldy, if they’ll have you, the better it will be for all of us. Fuck you Brown. You lie like stinking fish…
Todays PMQ’s fantastic.
Dave’s attack on Brown (over the back benchers) was excellent.
Partisan c*nts. The various generals were being less than kind about the Maximum Imbecile and all Labour back-benchers can do is dismiss them as ‘Tories’. Any fucker who doesn’t 100% buy into whatever fuckwitted idiocy that they pump out this week is a ‘Tory’.
The c*nts are unable to see. Or will not see that it is they who have fucked the UK. If you try to point it out – you’re a Tory. If you patiently point out where they borrowed tens of billions back in 2002 to create imaginary growth – you’re a Tory. If you tell ‘em they’re pissing away 200bn quid purely to stop the wheels falling off this side of an election – you’re a Tory.
The c*nts just cannot take any criticism at all. It is always some other fuckers fault or your concerns are driven by ideological differences. The c*nts are just brazen. All 400 Labour MPs are complicit in this fucking monstrous economic fuckup (ongoing).
It’s all about ‘winning’. Doing ‘the right thing’ means doing the right thing for the party. ie lie, lie, smear, dissemble, whitewash, conceal and lie again. Fuck the truth. Fuck prudence. Fuck honesty. Fuck the economy. Juts keep your feet under the table.
Evil. Evil. Treacherous. Bastards.
You forgot the old unpatriotic card or the old talking Britain down line both straight out the Mandy book of slime
No mention on the BBC 6 o’clock news. I guess they couldn’t spin it in any way to make gorgon look good.
Amazing, if true.

Can we start Cabinet watch? Country is going tits up and they are swanning around electioneering on our time with our funds as the great leader stalls calling a general election (again):
I raise you david Miliband:
A TOP ranking Government minister is visiting Crawley today.
Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs David Miliband called in on a Crawley resident in Three Bridges earlier today.
He’s currently meeting Labour party members and Diego Garcians at the Civic Hall

Labour twats should remember, there’s no praise in self-praise,next time they start to spout off how ‘we’ve never had it so good’.
Everything said about Gordo is true so why oh why isn’t Dave (pretty boy) Cameron 20 or 30 points ahead?
Because most journos and the MSM do NOT want a tory govt. Doesn’t matter what damage labour do, they just cannot abide the tories. Pathetic I know, but that’s how it is.
And I’m a bit shit.
No, Dave, you’re not “a bit shit”, you’re very very shit. Very shit indeed.
But fortunately for you, although you are incapable of winning the election, Gordon, who is infinitely worse than you, is very capable of losing it.
I see that all the well paid people in the public sector have had their pay frozen.
Since hardly any of them would vote for McTwat & Co in a million years there will be no impact on the outcome of the election and a billion or two will be saved.
When will the rest of the public sector find themselves in the same boat as their bosses? Answer, just after the next general election if McTwat & Co hold on to power.

You are a fucking idiot, I never read your posts I just scroll past them, as I suspect most people do. What is your point ?
now fuck off
Street view goes live for the UK soon.
The ICO and this stupid Government seem fit to advertise all our property on line for any criminal action in a database. Around here we have stone stolen every day. They have just taken the roof off the water board pump house for the second time, but that is on a main road.
But the best bit is you have to give your full identity, IP address, email to a foreign server (not covered under any UK law) so that they can “review” your request to stop invading your privacy. So the people that want, and by our laws have a degree of privacy, must give away their details to a US company to maintain it!
Why have we a Data Protection Act that says public indexed databases of personal information are not allowed without the persons permission. A picture of a house gives the exact address (by tradition we have numbers on houses), by public registers, the identity of the occupant is likely to be discovered, by the items in the window the religion of the occupant can be determined. Did anyone ever vote, or even their MP vote to now allow sensitive personal information to be in a public database.
An outrageous systematic invasion of privacy, as you detail anon.205 above.
Legal challenges arising all over Europe.
I, for one, don’t use google in any shape or form. Plenty of alternatives.
But that did not make the ICO sit up and take note.
They could have at least had a court ruling and let us all have our say. The weird thing is that private people do not want their information on the internet so by definition have no voice.
The ICO just lost or ignored the issues
I won’t let you down
I will not give you up
Gotta have some faith in the sound
It’s the one good thing that I’ve got
I won’t let you down
So please don’t give me up
Because I would really, really love to stick around
Heaven knows I was just a young boy
Didn’t know what I wanted to be
I was every little hungry schoolgirl’s pride and joy
And I guess it was enough for me
To win the race? A prettier face!
Brand new clothes and a big fat place
On your rock and roll TV
But today the way I play the game is not the same
No way
Think I’m gonna get me some happy
I think there’s something you should know
I think it’s time I told you so
There’s something deep inside of me
There’s someone else I’ve got to be
Take back your picture in a frame
Take back your singing in the rain
I just hope you understand
Sometimes the clothes do not make the man
All we have to do now
Is take these lies and make them true somehow
All we have to see
Is that I don’t belong to you
And you don’t belong to me
Freedom
You’ve gotta give for what you take

You’ve gotta give for what you take
Gordon Brown let us all down a long time ago.
O/T a guy named David Calvert has called on Jack Straw to come out and publicly say that he is not Jon Venables
but The Prime Coward Straw Refuses to do so despite this guy being attacked and receiving death threats this is the calibre of scum we have in the labour party
if anything happens to this guy Spineless Straw is solely responsible the useless Turd !
yes but nobody smooth talks you like Gordon and I do…you actually love us but just won’t admit it..go on..think about it what will you bloggers do if we go…how will you vent your spleens at the tories if they just get on with running the country properly…what will you spend your time doing having jobs and a happier atmosphere in the country at large…come on get real vote us in for another 5 years of happy times together…just think what we can do to the economy and country in 5 more years.
Vote Labour on May 6th a fairer shafting for all
“stable growth” – great oxymoron, from a not so great moron.
He’s never let me down. My Hero. Tweet tweet !
I’m so,so depressed.
How rubbish was PMQs. I’ve never despised a man so much in my life.
I guess you can only mean Just Gordon!
“it is because of the strength of the British economy ” —- etc
this is typical of the endless false dichotomies that brown treats us to.
Not long now.
May 7th.
Brown being driven out of Downing St (literally and figuratively)
Driven away to a one room cell in a grotty Fife tenement where the only way down is via the roof top jump.
And Brown’s thugs will be no more.
Slowly but surely we shall all get better, feel happier and be a country fit for hero’s who are given what they need and don’t actually get sent to wars that don’t need to be fought.
NOT LONG NOW
You can see by looking at Brown that he’s not going to live much longer. He has that diseased look of a dirty Scotch animal about to die.
It will be a wonderful day for Britain when the evil filth dies.
It was a great day when that fucking pig bastard, filthy corrupt Scotch Nu Liebore Nazi, John Smith died. And good to hear he was in agony as he died.
Are you angry?
He’s got issues!!!
Dude, I like your energy.
I look forward to Brown losing it live on air, and blowing his brains out with a gun.
I would wank over that.
Unfortunately he’s too much of a coward.
Ed balls will take the bullet for him, he’d be honoured!!!
Just heard Brown proclaim that “what you see is what you get”.
What I see, is a depressed, incompetent, deceitful, flawed, exponent of the sin of solitude.
Ok, I see that, but why would I want to? More to the point, why would he want me to see it?
We have seen it, but the retarded one still thinks ‘Im the only man to get you out of the F***up that I’ve made’.
Gordon Brown unelected Disgrace.
My Family and I leave for Australia tomorrow.
My kids have already gone.
God help the rest of you.
Ypu dont need to leave….. May 7th the fuck-wit will be unemployed.
Unemployed,,,,, straight into the house of lords.
Hmmmmmm.
Not sure if he’ll be straight in the house of lords, my bet is he’ll hot foot it (along with the likes of prescott) back to China or Russia – one of the two.
Cameron and team, then need to run an honest, middle of the road, non political campaign upon the dangers of communism !
This campaign against communism should be taken as seriously as the dangers of smoking.
Gordon Brown and his subversive attempt to take over the UK, should be held in the same light as Adolf Hitler and his destruction of Germany.
I am not joking. I also think that to make such a statement is…..middle of the road and pretty fair.
The song may end , but the melody will linger on for decades, long beyond my life expectancy. If I weren’t so bloody old I’d be off to Oz. Good luck to newjerseyboy.
Go on Paxman,,,apologise balls!!!
If the economy has “collapsed”, how come the shops are still open in Watford?
“steer a path of low inflation, low interest rates and stable growth…”
In the immortal words of Meatloaf, two out of three ain’t bad.
Twat.
The attention to detail of these failed student politicians is revealed by Ed Ball’s question to new 18 year old voters in his constituency. “Did you vote Labour in the last 2 general elections?”. Is he seriously the Education Secretary?
Edbutnoballs is a grade one slimey two faced liar who hopefully will be pushed right out of politics for good on the 6th may. With added luck that ascerbic little tart hes married too will enjoy the same fate. Every time balls blinks his eyes you just want to twat him
his comment is relevant,as there will be no sane person left in britain if he wins in may,
to let down….
what a cocksucker

Guido, just a thought. You’ve expended huge amounts of time and energy heaping ordure and merde upon the head of Gordon Brown, and yet the opinion polls show that you and your minions haven’t convinced one member of the voting public. In fact the personalisation of politics that you have encouraged, by attacking Brown as a person instead of arguing the economic and political case openly and honestly, seems to have backfired and shown Brown to be quite a mensch, taking all the bile that you have thrown at him and yet doggedly perservering, until finally Blair’s prediction about the Cameron butterfly being floored by the great clunking fist is coming to pass.
How does it feel?
Guido will cope. Brown’s personal polling is below zero. Net-net people have a negative opinion of him, perhaps not as negative as Guido does..
If any one was in doubt about the itelligence of the British electorate then the latest poll findings confirm that they must all be gaga.
What person in their right mind(apart from loafers and immigrants) would want to see another 5 years of Big Brother Brown?
Britains standing in the world has sunk to new lows, the economy is once again the sick man of Europe.
Wake up Britain kick this lot out they have 13 years to get it right and have failed miserably on Education, Health and Crime.
The economy is their next target to destroy and they are doing a blinding job of it
