Being able to email “to” or “cc” email-groups should be something that microsoft should make impossible without having 100′s of “are you really bloody sure?” questions; it’s far too easy to accidentally use.

In my humble opinion, whenever you use an email “group”, it should really only allow it as a “bcc”.

The guy who sent it is obviously a twat, but it’s easier to do it than it should be.

Or, was he manually adding the people one-by-one via an address book and not using a “group” ? If so, then that’s the wrong way to go about it.

They should really have a web-based emailing system which automates that kind of thing, using outlook for that kind of stuff is fucking dangerous.

Using outlook to receive/read emails is fine, but as soon as you get into mailing potentially 100′s of people you need to bin outlook as the sending process and do it via a web-based thing instead, just like merchants do with mailshots to their customers.

It’s not fucking rocket science; it’d take a techie about 2 hours to write such a web-based mass emailing system. Virtually every online merchant uses those, why can’t the tories?

Exactly, Sir William – so why do the cranks who claim to have harnessed zero-point energy (we think it is there, it is predicted by quantum field theory, it may be an artefact…) get rightly dismissed as lunatics, while the lunatics that create fiat money (we know it’s not there, most of economic theory is predicated upon it, and it is the most artificial thing we can think of…) are lauded and showered with Nobel prizes?
