Let’s look at your horse breeding analogy. True, in pursuit of racing perfection breeders do dictate which stallion may mate with which mare and which stallions get gelded. But those are animals, not human beings.

Fabianism is only passe in the sense that socialism is passe.

The Fabians were established to achieve socialist revolution on the quiet, a task they have managed to no small degree.

Quite frankly, despite their Mr Nicey image, I would rank them as even more evil than revolutionary socialists. At least the beared bomb throwing loons climbing their barricades are honest about what they want to achieve; the Fabians seek the same objectives but by lies, deceit and trickery – conning the people to accept things they wouldn’t accept otherwise.
