Fabians Forget the History of their Evil Cause

The Fabian socialists are having their “Causes to Fight For” conference today. A rally of freedom hating statists who will throw soundbites to a tweeting mob. For over a hundred years the Fabians have tried to increase the power of the state at the expense of society.  If there is one consistent aim from the time of the Webbs, through from Oswald Mosley up to Sunder Katawala today, it is to undermine a free, property owning society.  Fabians realise socialism will never triumph as long as people have capital and independence.

For most people their single biggest asset, and society’s bulwark against socialism, is their family home.  It is why socialists want penal inheritance taxes and opposed letting low income families get on the property ladder. Council house sales turned former state dependents into property owners, promoting upward mobility and vote switching from a Labour Party which wanted to keep them as clients, to parties which encouraged popular aspirations.  Even today Fabians still want to extend state socialism further at the expense of home ownership. The past hundred years of the Fabians have had even darker times too.

In preparation for their Challenging Extremism session at the conference, Sunder Katawala wrote a not unjustified diatribe against the Daily Mail for historically endorsing the Blackshirts. Very thin ice for a Fabian to be on given that the Blackshirts were founded by a leading Fabian – Oswald Mosley.

In the first few decades of the twentieth century the Fabians were the biggest advocates of eugenics. Leading Fabians and founders of the LSE, Sidney and Beatrice Webb believed “What we as eugenicists have got to do is to ‘scrap’ the old Poor Law with its indiscriminate relief of the destitute as such and replace it by an intelligent policy of so altering the social environment as to discourage or prevent the multiplication of those irrevocably below the National Minimum of Fitness.” In the 1930s Archibald Church introduced a bill for eugenic sterilization to stop “those who are in every way a burden to their parents, a misery to themselves and in my opinion a menace to the social life of the community” from reproducing.  Church was  a Fabian.

Prominent Fabians such as H G Wells, Bernard Shaw and the Webbs led the way in combining the ‘progressive’ ideologies of socialism and eugenics. It doesn’t stop there either. As The Guardian reported last year the “Fabian socialists provided the intellectual justification for the eugenics policy that led to the stolen generations scandal.” For a century the Fabians have sought and sadly often succeeded in undermining the traditional family, property rights and individual freedom.  Their cause is evil.

Next time you watch the BBC note this brainwashing method, which they often use in a slight variation off.

They will give a one sided propaganda promotion of any given subject and they will either have no one to counter argument or one single person against a larger panel.

This is to reinforce to the public that their is no counter argument or that the counter argument is the minority view, even when it is not.

They will go in the street and ask 20 people an often loaded question, if 5 agree but 15 dissagree with their propaganda they will show the 5 who agree and only one opposing argument if any.

The BBC does this almost daily.

That is how you are manipulated.

Learn to think for yourselfs and stand up for the truth!

Do Gordon, Dave or Clegg really speak for you? are their policies which are all the same in your best interests?

or have you been conditioned that these warmongering, EUSSR communists are the only alternative?

There is very little journalism these days, it is 24/7 propaganda, where integrity i scorned.

As for the schools, education has been dumped, far more important is the brainwashing, the teachers knowingly lie to the students regarding global warming, lecture them in things which have a political agenda and zero educational value and preach to them lie after lie.

However, most of what I was going to write was already covered by others, so I shall summarise.

Eugenics was considered “settled consensus science” and beyond dispute early in the last century in exactly the same way that the climate alarmist cult considers man made climate change to be settled and, ironically, for exactly the same reason. They both are in favour of profound population control.

This is NOT a right vs left issue, it is an elitist Marxist/fascist Vs libertarian issue. it is about who is the master and who is the servant.

It is socialists who need the net throwing over them, figuratively, or in some cases the straitjacket. They have been very bad for Britain, the “progress” they have spearheaded has been illusory or detrimental. It is a dangerous creed, marked amongst its adherents by excessive dogma, arrogance and unwarranted moral superiority. It has undermined long-standing and successful British cultural values, freedoms and governing protocols, ushering in an age of destruction of the good, the rise of mediocrity, negativity, paranoia, lies and spin.

Socialists won’t face the reality of the extremism and danger of their cant, but conspire in their own delusion, like members of a cult. They continue to hold too many positions of power and influence in our society, especially over the young. Their political bigotry and brainwashing needs to be exorcised from public life.

Socialism is a sham, a dangerous sham, but a sham nevertheless. Socialist Concern is the new Alcohol Concern for the 21st Century. If you know a socialist lost in his or her own delusion and threatening the happiness and well-being of others get them some help. To those socialist trolls trying to maintain the delusion here, get yourselves some help, consult your doctor. You owe it to the society you pretend to care so much about.

neo-cons (or followers of Straussian philosophy) are just another faction of the new world order. Another grouping that believes that they know best and who want to regulate and control everything we can do and think, for our own benefit of course.

Just because the neo-cons are fuckwits, does not mean that Fabians are good and wholesome.

They are ALL evil fuckwits. In the last 3 years there have been Fabians in power bailing out banks and neo-cons in power bailing out banks, so what does that tell you???

That all these rival factions are propping up the same bankers and just wanting to be at the top seat in the bankers controlled systems.

Before you support any of these evil fuckers, ask yourself, do these people want to prop up a system where the public are servants and enslaved to the system or where the banking and political system is a servant of the public?

We need a system where the necessary greed of the banking system is harnessed and controlled to be the engine of a better society. At the moment society is being squeezed to prop up the banking system.

The power pyramid is all wrong. The bankers lend to all these rival factions who become debt slaves to those banks, so they are all controlled by the bankers. These factions then gain political followers who they manipulate. They then create rival political factions who fight for power and end up getting the public fighting against each other, instead of the real evil, foul, criminal class who are obscenely wealthy and who laugh at us all squabbling amongst ourselves as we pay them to fuck us over every single day.

We need to string up a few of the top members of the top banking families, then kill all their puppet politicians and then we MIGHT get a free and fair society that is built upon a desire to unleash the best and most creative talent of the people, instead of a society whose primary driver is chasing money that never existed.

I would urge the readers of this blog to stop taking sides against each other, and take sides against the evil global banking classes and the international elite bastards.

I do not give a shit what label they have, but if any society, wants the public to be the servant, and the state (whether corporate or other) is an uncontrollable master, then I do not support them or their philosophy.

‘It is pure Darwin’ – nah, that’s just a naive interpretation of Natural Selection. ‘Social Darwisinsm’ is not science. It is nothing but an excuse for oppressing the poor, eventually leading to mass murder. It’s the main reason the 20th Century was so ugly.

The problem with leftists is they aren’t terribly sophisticated when it comes to science. Hence the mistake the Fabians made, believing eugenics was justified. Unfortunately, eugenics is still with us – see the globalist plan to exterminate ~90% of the world’s peeps, which is almost ready to be implemented.

One slight difference, rick: ‘Darwin’ is posited on ‘Natural Selection': “NATURAL” – as in ‘Let Nature take its course.'; “eugenics” is posited on the notion that someone can intervene, fore-know, and pre-empt, what ‘Nature’ might decide. Ancient question: ‘quis custodiet ipsos custodies’? Who will be in a position to choose who qualifies for sterilisation/extermination?.
If humans are no better than racehorses, then let horses run our affairs.
But, rick, perhaps you secretly believe that Darwin wasn’t quite right, – his theory needs a bit of help: let’s urge it along with some positive action – of which Nietzsche might approve! …
One final point, rick: “pure Darwin”: correct me if I am wrong, but I think Darwin’s ‘Magnum Opus’ was specifically entitled ‘… A Theory for the Origin of Species by Natural Selection…': it sought to understand the differences in living beings (‘Species’), by means of Natural process, rather than a Supernatural one: I do not think that Darwin believed that it was possible for humans to ‘short-circuit’ that process by ‘selective breeding’, still less, by sterilisation. ‘Darwin’ seems to be on the side of ‘Natural Selection’ as against Divine fiat; ‘Darwin’ does not seem to be on the side of ‘Artificial Selection’.

I’ll accept your word you are not a “toy town nazi” but I can only conclude you are an unclear thinker.

Let’s look at your horse breeding analogy. True, in pursuit of racing perfection breeders do dictate which stallion may mate with which mare and which stallions get gelded. But those are animals, not human beings.

And in case you have yet to grasp the problem with human eugenics perhaps you might ponder this wee factette: We shoot horses no longer able to perform like what it says on the box.

So forget whether you’re allowed to screw or not. Do you really want to give the likes of Gordon Brown* and his henchmen the sort of power that allows them to decide whether you live or die?

In his new book, The Age of Turbulence, Greenspan describes how he first met Brown and Blair in 1994 and considered their New Labour project a rejection of socialism in favour of continuing former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s economic reforms. “In the fall of 1994, Brown and Blair trekked into my office at the Federal Reserve. As we exchanged greetings, it appeared to me that Brown was the senior person. Blair stayed in the background while Brown did most of the talking about a new Labour,” Greenspan writes in the book. “Gone were the socialist tenets of postwar Labour leaders like Michael Foot and Arthur Scargill, the fiery leader of the miners’ union, Brown espoused globalisation and free markets and did not seem interested in reversing much of what Thatcher had changed in Britain.”

Thatcher, prime minister from 1979 to 1990, has long been a hate figure for Britain’s left. But Brown invited the former premier to his residence last month as part of his drive to broaden his Labour party’s appeal to traditional right-wingers. Greenspan, who helped Brown devise plans to give the Bank of England independence when he was at the Fed, now acts as an unpaid advisor to Brown on international economic issues. …

The essential Illuminati plot of the late twentieth century involved increasing its wealth through its monopoly on oil, through the collaboration of the Saudi family, and the steady impoverishment of the Third World, to secure its power, towards to the establishment of a single global world order. The underlying philosophy of this strategy is known as Malthusianism, and was implemented through the activities of the Round Table, through their sponsorship of the Fabian Socialist Society of England.

The Fabians were a group of socialists whose strategy differed from that of Karl Marx in that they sought world domination through what they called the “doctrine of inevitability of gradualism.” This meant their goals would be achieved “without breach of continuity or abrupt change of the entire social issue,” by infiltrating educational institutions, government agencies, and political parties. Prominent Fabian and writer, George Bernard Shaw, revealed that their goal was to be achieved by “stealth, intrigue, subversion, and the deception of never calling socialism by its right name.”[1]

For a century the Fabians have sought and sadly often succeeded in undermining the traditional family, property rights and individual freedom. Their cause is evil.

You bet it is Guido, as you are said to be a member of The Libertarian Alliance I have often wondered why you have not mentioned these perfectly horrendous characters and their profoundly EVIL theology much before.

Yes FABIANISM is a THEOLOGY, not simply a political ideology. Which is based on what many would call OCCULT PAGANISM, better and later known as NAZISM, or just plane EVIL in action.

However what makes Fabianism so very very dangerous is the powers that finance and therefore have always controlled this profound evil. Like for example The Rothschild Family, and their highly selective group of financial backers, and investors, including The British Royal Family, and The Pope. Which are said by those that claim to know, to collectively account for between 65% to 80% of the entire wealth of the entire planet. In other words FABIANISM has always had extremely supportive friends in almost infinitely high places.

Or put another way. REAL NAZISM is a product of the people who set up The International Banking System, which by inference could not fail to win in the end. The German version was simply a trial run, used as a means of steeling the wealth of Europe from its inhabitants, while creating a Zionist springboard for a coming 3rd world war, namely The State of Israel. The exact same 3rd WW so wonderfully described by H G Wells himself, solely because he had already been informed of the plan, and told to write it down for all to see, and therefore not fully believe. The same could and should be said for A. Huxley, G. Orwell and of course that Rothschild whore A. RAND.

When you go through the very circular nature of the flavours of the left , you often wonder why they never offer a critique of how it can go wrong , or even why it has gone wrong in so many cases of mass murder , gulags and stasi oppression . The new versions of the hard left on the outside can appear trendy , intellectual sort of middle of the road so they can fend off extremist tags , by the time you have been labelled either mentally defective or ostrcised by them , which is difficult enough , you might wonder what is the right thing or even if there is one .
Labour have been about trying to get you to forget about , things like property , responsibility , left failure and even god .The tories are still waking up and having a think about the mess , as the socialist goo formation trys to suffocate it off . This government is hard left dressed up as somthing beneficial , sounds familiar ? They dont say they are , they just come out with little strings of words “getting on with the job ” “it is right to do so” just insert commrades infront of it and you would perhaps better see what has been going on .
Eugenics is quite liked by the left inpart due to how they incorrectly fused Darwinism with perfect state , its current form is in the womb testing so that they can give us a fit and healthy society , but they are now finding all the mind controlling is leading to sedentary lifestyles and phsycotics , which is quite ironic given they go to so much trouble in the first place only to create dysfunctioning adults . Of course good fabians cant help but wanting to tinker with other aspects , despite gene therapy not really giving many of the promised , repair kits , they are now deeply in love with GM foods , but you dont really get to see many opposing views , as they are quickly placed in the museum of antiquites or padded cell.
You can even see hints of the origional wonkness in the ruins ecnomic record , he still does not answer “end to boom and bust” , remember he said he created no more boom or bust , everyones been so hooked on the physcological flaw , that they have forgotten to explain what he really was thinking , namely erasing the concepts of property , somthing it seems that was totally absent from any manfesto labour put forward . You can of course end boom and bust , if no one owns or earns anything and you spend your days doing what the state mind control speil says you should do .

Theres some more I want to add but I will refrain, basically if you ever wondered by the fabian socialists “care” you have to ask the question why so many people are depressed ruined and afraid . It always was wonk .

With Haiti death toll topping 50000 , its funny how everyone suddenly cares and it will be in the media for some time , no one wanted to go to the lawless place before the quake , yet the otherside of the island is a tourist destination , tragic all the same .

The Fabians themselves are either self righteous social and economic imbeciles of the Toynbee stamp, or amoral sociopathic opportunists such as Milliband. We can only fight them, tear up thier forms, snap their pencils, refuse to grant them the slightest moral legitimacy. Fabians require your APPROVAL for their deeds; it makes them very upset indeed when you fail to acknowledge their wisdom and moral superiority. Upset a Fabian today — pick one, they are all around you.

Brother Shaw (GB) was similarly enamoured .“ The only fundamental and possible socialism is the socialisation of the selective breeding of Man” he declared . He advocated the abolition of marriage and its replacement with eugenically acceptable polygamy under the auspices of the “Department of Evolution”. He further recommend a “Husband stud Farm”, to eliminate the “Yahoo , whose vote would wreck the Commonwealth”.For criminal and undesirable elements were to be placed ..” in a lethal chamber and get rid of them”

Socialism is simply evil, as NULIebour have once again demonstrated with such clarity. Our economy has been wrecked by their grand ideas and their isufferable control-freakery, and as we teeter on the edge of bankruptcy their poisonous schemes march on unabated.

Any doubters should always remember the simple maxim: every socialist government inevitably ends in a financial shambles.

And now we have the laughable headline (for that is all it is) of McBust promising more middle class jobs. Such jobs will only come from a healthy and efficient economy, not one where public spending went out of control years ago and where taxation is an enormous burden that the country simply cannot afford. High taxation and a thriving economy are two phrases that should never appear in the same sentence.

At last. The truth will out! You have lifted a big ugly stone there Guido. Half of NuLab (at least the inner patrty – not the dross) are Fabians. Guess what they have done to family and society and the powers of the state. Nothing good in our eyes – fits in well with their aims. Class war is what they do.

I first ran into the sons of bitches at Strathclyde Uni in the 70’s. My Politics prof even gave a glowing lecture to two hundred young students about them in Year 1 (apart from being a member of course). Often he and other trot lecturers were seen skulking late in the evening in clandestine recruitment meetings with students on uni premises.

A nest of them at the Uni were busy grooming young student Scottish Marxists for careers in the Labour Party and giving them artificially high grades in Pol and Soc as well. A few, not mentioning any names, but you will all know them as NuLab MPs are now millionaires thanks to us and NuLab patronage.

Scottish recruits were prized. They had to be anti-Nat, Scotland-hating self loathers though. After all hating ones own country meant that that they certainly not give a monkeys about England either. Perfect Fabian material. They would not want any love of country sentiment to get in the way of doing the ‘right thing’ and engineering society for the great Red Dawn.

Well everyone knows the rest. They have destroyed our society and economy. They are not all Scots of course. Balls is a Fabian. He wrote a pamphlet for them on removing the independence of the BOE – funny that huh.

    FABIANS

The society was founded on 4 January 1884 in London. The group, which favoured gradual incremental change rather than revolutionary change, was named in honour of the Roman general Quintus Fabius Maximus, nicknamed “Cunctator”, meaning “the Delayer”, (Remind you of anyone). His Fabian strategy advocated tactics of harassment and attrition rather than head-on battles. (We call them terrorists today).

Through the course of the 20th century the group has always been influential in Labour Party circles, with members including Ramsay MacDonald, Clement Attlee, Anthony Crosland, Richard Crossman, Tony Benn, Harold Wilson, and more recently Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. (The MSM and of course the BBC never mentions this because it is full of them?)

Since Labour came to office in 1997, the Fabian Society has been a forum for New Labour ideas. The most significant Fabian contribution to Labour’s policy agenda in government was Ed Balls’ 1992 pamphlet, advocating Bank of England independence. (and what led to the Boom & Bust? Lack of control by the BoE).

The Fabian Society Tax Commission of 2000 was widely credited with influencing the Labour government’s policy of tax increases in particular the National Insurance rise to raise £8 billion. (If you are poorer in anyway, you now know who to blame).

The Fabian H G Wells advocated a level of eugenics that was even more extreme than Hitler’s. The weak should be killed by the strong, having “no pity and less benevolence.” The diseased, deformed and insane, together with “those swarms of blacks, and brown, and dirty-white, and yellow people … will have to go” in order to create a scientific utopia.

Just as repulsive was the Fabian Marie Stopes with her policies inspired by eugenics aimed directly at the extermination of the proletariat. In her book Radiant Motherhood (1920) she called for the “sterilisation of those totally unfit for parenthood (to) be made an immediate possibility, indeed made compulsory.”

“Crushed by the burden of taxation which they have not the resources to meet and to provide for children also: crushed by the national cost of the too numerous children of those who do not contribute to the public funds by taxation, yet who recklessly bring forth from an inferior stock individuals who are not self-supporting, the middle and superior artisan classes have, without perceiving it, come almost to take the position of that ancient slave population.”

The Fabian Society has made no secret of what they wished to achieve, and how they meant to achieve it; by Entryism of all the political parties and political structure and institutions of the country.

The Fabians, deliberately middle-class in composition and appeal, were not for building any mass movement at all, least of all a Fabian one. They thought of themselves as a small elite of brain-trusters who would permeate the existing institutions of society, influence the real leaders in all spheres Tory or Liberal, and guide social development toward its collectivist goal with the ‘inevitability of gradualness.’ Since their conception of socialism was purely in terms of state intervention (national or municipal), and their theory told them that capitalism itself was being collectivised apace every day and had to move in this direction, their function was simply to hasten the process. The Fabian Society was designed in 1884 to be pilot-fish to a shark: at first the shark was the Liberal Party; but when the permeation of Liberalism failed miserably, and labour finally organised its own class party despite the Fabians, the pilot-fish simply reattached itself.

These characterisations scarcely convey the full flavour of the Webbian collectivism that was Fabianism. It was through-and-through managerial, technocratic, elitist, authoritarian, ‘plannist.’ Webb was fond of the term wire-pulling almost as a synonym for politics. A Fabian publication wrote that they wished to be ‘the Jesuits of socialism.’ The gospel was order and efficiency. The people, who should be treated kindly, were fit to be run only by competent experts. Class struggle, revolution and popular turbulence were insanity. If ever the socialist movement developed its own bureaucratic collectivism, this was it.

There is an essential dichotomy in socialist thinking. Socialists themselves think they are good, because they have the best of all possible intentions (apart from the envy of course – but the worst socialists are those from a privileged background themselves). So socialists think they are good, when in fact they are a manifestation of pure evil, because the outcome of their policies is invariably bad.

But of course, to the left “intent” is everything and “outcome” is nowhere.

For anyone interested in further reading you may want to look at Fabian/Fascism links with Mussolini in particular – the fabians *adored* Musso. The book Liberal Fascism (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Liberal-Fascism-History-Mussolini-Politics/dp/0141039507/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263641859&sr=1-1) doesn’t go into this in much depth – it rather concentrates on continental europe and the US, but if you keep an eye out for familiar names and family trees you’ll find a fabian hand in almost every wretched plot against freedom – and the family. Guido’s right that today, the family home is a bulwark against socialism, but so is the family itself. There can be no socialism while there is concern for your own children more than others, even if this does manifest itself in nepotism and nimbyism – so socialists seek to destroy the family via the welfare state, schools propaganda, gay marriage, anyhting else they can get hold of.

Socialism isn’t just wrong – it’s evil. To the core. Remember that.

It is a constitutive characteristic of ‘dialectical logic’ that its linguistic expression has the effect of making nouns and adjectives morphologically interchangeable. So ‘scientific socialism’ == ‘socialist science’.

If few today are prepared to express support for eugenics as an -ism (ie ideology), it is only because the exchange of syntactic terms in that particular formula is pervasive. One need look no further than Climategate to see ‘socialist science’ (and ‘scientific socialism’) in operation.

          A Logician says:

Good effort, but your logic is more ‘metaphorical’ than ‘dialectical’. This tends to happen when one of the terms is poorly defined. By ‘horseshit’ you manifestly don’t refer to the steaming piles of ordure produced by equine quadrupeds. One can demur from a metaphor in a way that one cannot demur from a fact, for example, by denying that ‘it’s pissing down’ when it is raining. (There is a different issue if by ‘horseshit’ you mean ‘is false’, but that was pretty well understood by the ancient Greeks, one of whom gave up speaking altogether over misconstruing the implications).

Simply observe that ‘science’ and ‘socialism’ have separate real referents. They are also two logically distinct concepts, so that ‘Jonty is a socialist’ does not imply that Jonty is a scientist, tho as a matter of fact he may be. (That proper science may be practiced under a socialist regime is not a counterexample). The dialectical logician then engages on an explication of the concepts to produce a narrative in which the descriptions mutually imply each other. Bingo. This has a matter of historical fact occurred: at one end ‘social darwinism’ (evo-biology, etc) and the general program of asserting that sociology, history, etc are ‘sciences’ for example; at the other end, claims like that scientific findings must drive policy (the technological imperative). Parts of this broader argument, evidence for and against, has been alluded to by other posters. I merely draw attention to the mechanism within thinking itself which can create delusion, and the death of tens of millions.

taxing at 40 and 50 percent and then making respectable families fill in forms to claim some of it back…….. yeeeeulch!!

You just don’t get it! Do you Gordon?

No tax credits on salaries above a 31k? Who invented this one?

If taxes for the middle classes were at 25 percent there would be no need for any claw-back on tax credits. People “in the middle” want to keep what they earn.

Tax credits are a consequence of a legal minimum wage, in turn enabled by a multi-national workforce. Nobody earns enough; the State makes up the difference.

The abolition of a minimum wage and strict immigration controls would actually help national wages to rise. Worth a try I say.

On the subject of freedom and soldiers, this is a quote from Wikipedia on a part of what I consider Scotland’s “hidden history”. Bloody Friday:

The failure of the Police to control the riot prompted the Coalition Government under David Lloyd George to react, after Scottish Secretary Robert Munro described the riot as a ‘Bolshevist uprising’. Soldiers armed with machine guns, tanks and a howitzer arrived on the Friday night and Saturday to occupy Glasgow’s streets. A 4.5 inch Howitzer was positioned at the City Chambers, the cattle market was transformed into a tank depot, Lewis Guns were posted on the top of the North British Hotel and the General Post Office, armed troops stood sentry outside power stations, docks and patrolled the streets. They were deployed for a week in order to deter any more gatherings.

No Scottish troops were deployed, with the British government fearing that fellow Scots, soldiers or otherwise, would go over to the workers’ side if a revolutionary situation developed in Glasgow. English troops were transported from England and stationed in Glasgow specifically to combat this possible scenario. The soldiers of the Highland Light Infantry, based in the city’s Maryhill barracks were subject to a lock-in, with an estimated 10,000 English troops and tanks [1] sent into the city to control unrest and extinguish any revolution that should break out.

Fabian Economics: Tax jobs and Tax Empty Factories You Know It Makes Sense

To anyone that thinks that this Government’s economic policy has nothing to do with 900 people losing their jobs next year at the Bosch plant in Wales:

Whilst the plant was consulting with workers, (originally 300 were for the chop) Alastair Darling announced the 0.5% increase in Employers National Insurance surcharge, starting April 2011 would be doubled to 1% (total now 12% tax for the privilege of employing somebody)

I calculate this would add about £2 million a year to ‘tax on jobs’ that this plant has to pay. Downsizing the plant, leaving part of the factory empty will attract 100% empty property rates after 6 months (April Budget 2009)

No surprise that the plant will now close end of 2010

Apagusta- Fabians have no relevance today- get your head out!

From the Fabian society that believe to hide stuff right under our noses is the way to go, it is when we search it out.

All Labour Prime Ministers have been members of the Fabian Society, while the Young Fabians have been influential in creating debate and as an arena for young people with an interest in politics to both influence and learn from influential political figures.

Two Labour landslides have seen more Fabians returned to the House of Commons than there are Conservatives and Lib Dems MPs put together – their number including Stephen Twigg whose shock defeat of Michael Portillo on election night 1997 meant he had to give up his post as Fabian general secretary.

1945 the beginning of the end..

The Ideological Clique Behind the Change

These changes did not take place by accident. They were planned by British cultural elites, particularly by members of the Fabian Society, who had worked for over a half-century to promote the policies finally implemented by Labour governments after 1945.

The Fabians advocated a gradual, democratic socialist takeover rather than violent revolution. Fabians sought control over more banal aspects of life — transport, utilities, medicine — that were far less threatening to the general public than the prospect of armed revolution.

The society was named after the Roman general Fabius Maximus, whose tactic was to wait for the ideal opportunity. The society’s motto — “For the right moment you must wait… but when the right moment comes you must strike hard” — is eerily similar to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s sentiment that “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste,” because “crisis provides the opportunity for us to do things that [we] could not do before.”

Fabian Society membership was a Who’s Who of prewar British intellectuals, writers and artists who had rejected classical free-market economics, traditional religion, nationalism and imperialism. They included nerdy academic socialists like Harold Laski and G.D.H. Cole, as well as a motley collection of misfits, pacifists, deviants and utopian radicals.

There is absolutely no doubt that the implementation of the New Deal was nothing more than that of the Fabian Socialist Plan. The Fabian Political and Economic Planning Committee proved indispensable in the formation of the New Deal, in fact if you read what the New Deal accomplished and compare it to the Fabian P.E.P. they are almost indistinguishable from each other. A portion of the Fabian P.E.P. stated: “The individualistic manufacturer and farmer will be forced by events to submit to far-reaching changes in outlook and methods. What is required, if with only a view to equitable treatment of individuals, is transfer of ownership of large blocks of land – not necessarily of all the land in the country, but certainly a large proportion of it – into the hands of the proposed statutory corporations and public utility bodies and of land trusts.”

I’d say very relevant to today- Comrade Brown often speaks of the new, New Deal..

When corporations and Government become too close- we have Fascism- Fabian Fascism!

    Three points.

    1) The numbers of people on incapacity benefit are an indication of the utter failure of the NHS. Solving the problem requires the involvement of health professionals not clipboard box tickers.

    2) The only way that Gordon Brown’s promises to the Middle classes can be worthwhile is if they are printed on toilet paper; then we can at least wipe our arses on them.

    3) Any politician, ( Cameron; that means YOU) who defends the NHS and promises to keep its structure and the expenditure on it intact, deserves to be rejected by the electorate with utter contempt. MPs, Prime Ministers and Leaders of the Opposition might get good treatment from the NHS, the rest of us get treated as if we were inmates in a concentration camp.

I attempted to reply that: “Mr Pilger informs us of the important fact that he does not like Israel; that is his prerogative. However his assertion that the defeat of the AUT boycott of Israeli academic institutions was due to the activities of the “Israel Lobby” could not be further from the truth. It was defeated because no true academic would support it. Scholarship demands free debate; that is what it is all about. If we lose our academic integrity, then we have nothing. Those who wish to limit debate are totalitarian by nature and book burning is their natural activity. As Heinrich Heine so famously said in his play Almansor; ‘They that start by burning books will end by burning men’. Those that proposed that boycott are a disgrace to the country and to scholarship.”

The New Statesman however chooses only to hear what it wishes to hear, so the post was swallowed by the ether.

As a member of the Fabian Society and Labour Party I found this blog very interesting though obviously I don’t necessarily concur with its conclusions. You’ve done well to point out the connection of past Fabians with eugenics and the dangers of the too powerful state. As others have commented eugenics was embraced by both left and right during this period and of course now would be completely unacceptable to both. The policy of one child in China led to the culling of sometimes healthy girl children and we do not know about those with disabilities. But it is possible that as a policy it was advantageous to China to control its massive overpopulation which in India has led to grotesque poverty and homelessness, contrasting with great wealth. The Fabian Society is very influential on the Labour Party and I suppose you could say is part of the ‘establishment’. But could we say the Guido is also part of the establishment?

The Fabians pretend to be friends of the poor but in reality they are in a moral funk that “we”, the wise and worthy, are being overwhelmed by the seething mass of scum at the bottom of the heap. The Labour Party’s horrible Orwellian, Clockwork Orange of a society, abandoned any moral authority long ago. It is a society that has aborted its future, (6.7 million and counting) and has now introduced the principle of euthanasia as well as eugenics. They would have made Herod the Great go green with envy. Stanley Kubrick’s film The Clockwork Orange, was until recently, withdrawn from release, (to prevent it from giving the ungodly any ideas, presumably), is now re-released because it has lost the ability to shock; now, far worse things happen every day and do not even make the inside pages of the newspapers. The Labour Party has abandoned its, roughly Christian set of morals for a rag-bag of horror, hidden by cloaks of respectability labelled “Equality” and “Caring.”
Despite the loud proselytising of the militant atheist and secular lobbies, the vast majority of the people in this country do not share the brave new world of the liberal elites. Like their forefathers, they are no great churchgoers, but they certainly know nastiness when they see it. The moral philosopher Iris Murdoch, debated whether there could be any morality without religion; and after seeing it put in to practice, one has to conclude that the answer is a resounding No.

Are you sure? Maybe in public they disown it, and if so that certainly wouldn’t be down to any serious soul searching on their part. More a position for public relations purposes I think.

I’m sure if the global warming lunacy, which surprise, surprise the Fabian idiots fully embrace, required millions of people to disappear off the face of the earth to ‘save the planet’, they would be rationalising it all behind closed doors at one of their wank-fests.

Arrogant elitist scum like the Fabians shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near positions of power or influence in this country. They are hostile to the very idea of democracy and actively work to destroy it.

Great post Guido. Fabians are truly evil. At the end of the day people like to own their own stuff. One of my daughter’s first words was “Mine!”.

Any political system that flies in the face of human nature has got a fatal design flaw, to put it mildly. Socialism does not put a stop to widespread poverty, but means mediocrity for the vast majority.

Socialism will never catch on, especially in countries that are at long last embracing free market economies, and who realize better than most that having to wait in a long queue for a loaf of Pumpernickel is piss-boring.

In reply to some pig-ignorant New Labour-inspired posters here.

Whichever way you try to twist it Fabianism is still a form of fascism whereby business and property are controlled by the government through laws, rules and regulations and court decisions.

In Fabianism/socialism the government owns the assets of a society: the factories the banks, the businesses, etc.

In Hitler’s / Mussolini’s fascism assets are left in the hands of the private sector, but the government makes rules and laws about the use of those assets. They passed laws that the owners of private assets must use the assets for certain purposes and in certain ways.

So can now you can see, ignorant plonkers that you are, that there is only a small difference between the two. In both systems it is the government controlling businesses and assets. In Facism it owns them by way of rules and laws imposed on individuals and businesses, in socialism via direct government ownership.

Both systems sing from the same hymn sheet: both want to confiscate wealth from citizens.

Guido, did you know that when this country is saved from a huge disaster, the sound of Drake’s Drum is heard? When Sir Francis Drake died, he vowed he would return to save England. At times of great deliverance, we hear the sound of Drake’s Drum. We heard it when Germany surrendered in WW!.

We heard it when Napoleon was finally defeated. And from the bottom of my heart, I believe we will hear it when Gordon Brown is booted from power! He and Tony Blair have brought such shame and sorrow to this land, it cannot be quantified. Drake’s Drum will be heard when he is kicked out and I for one, will weep with joy.

So New Labour don’t advocate euthanansia of the new born (even mildly) handicapped then? Actually the left operate by killing first the weak, those who cannot defend themselves – primarily the unborn, and now, in our hospitals, the old and the new born. Look up Liverpool Pathways to Care. The left, and the Fabians, in particular, are obsessed with killing. Didn’t Baron Porrit recently call for a 70% cull of the the British population? Who do you think he was directing his message at?
