That would not be racist, because there is no ethnic or religeous barrier, and it will mean that no one will come here just for the benefits.
It ould have twofold benefits for he rest of us: firstly there would be fewer people trying to stir up trouble and getting legal aid for their troubles because there would be no benefits to keep them, and secondly those who do want to feel that way would either be too busy earning a living or living on inherited wealth, like some of the Government front bench might have been able to do.

Those words are enough to ensure that they should be very carefully watched and their associations too. If you ban their use of words, you drive them “underground” and lose all ability to track them openly.

Not having taken much interest in Islam4UK etc., I’m not sure quite what they were saying behind the scenes. A few nutters wanting to Islamise Britain is one thing – the rest of us are free to express our opinion of that – but the implication is that this outfit was linked to more serious activities.
I hope that those links are actual and proven, and not just an convenient smear placed by a government well versed in smearing and desperate to do something that appears tough and popular. One thing that raises one’s suspicions is that, so far as I am aware, none of it’s members have been arrested for inciting terrorism. If there’s enough evidence to ban the group, it follows that there should be evidence against some individuals.

Thank fuck the labour government will (hopefully) be kicked out in a few months; maybe (with luck) the tories will try to re-instate some basic human rights into uk legislation.
Many many many uk laws that labour have passed are themselves illegal.
They’ve shot themselves in the foot with the kind of draconian legislation that they’ve passed (and with the way that they’ve abused those laws), because it’s just a recruiter for real terrorists.
If the labour government had just used standard/existing criminal law (and there would have been no problem with doing that if they were competent) then there might just be a dozen or so terrorists operating in the uk. But because of the illegal laws that labour have created and because of their abuse of those laws, we’ve now probably got thousands of terrorists operating in the uk, and most likely millions across the globe.
They are deeply devout muslims who believe absolutely that the koran is the word of god and that they must obey its sacred instruction to destroy the unbeliever wherever he may be.
Their reward, promised by god himself, is eternal paradise, ten thousand slaves, seventy-two virgins and a thick carpet.
Death for them is a privilege, and by martyring themselves, they demonstrate the depth of their faith.
Despite all of that, I believe they should not be banned. Instead we should widely publicise and ridicule their beliefs, so that fewer, less devout muslims, are tempted to follow their example.

Islam4UK is of course an internet and street creation of al-Muhajiroun.
Al-Muhajiroun was created at the time of the Kosovo war as an MI-6 islamist front organisation, by former MI-6 runner and informant, Omar Bakri, who had at the time of the first Gulf war, made a public call for John Major to be assassinated by Muslims, and not been prosecuted for that.
Al-Muhajiroun recruited British Muslims for the intelligence services, to be trained and sent to Kosovo to fight there
Abu Hamza (Cap’n Hook) and Abu Qatada are other characters connected to this organisation, as was Haroon Rashid Aswat, with an apparent role in the events of 7/7, and perhaps 21/7 also. I seem to remember this latter guy is currently languishing in Broadmoor (???)
When the connections of these type of controlled guys started becoming too obvious, Omar Bakri decided to take a holiday in Lebanon, and was immediately banned from coming back into the UK, thus putting him out of the reach of any kind of local justice or even interrogation.
I have no doubt that al-Muhajiroun and thus the ISLAM4UK remain Military Intelligence controlled, and are been put to the task of inflaming communal tensions and further demonising UK Muslims
