“He’s Bonkers”

Former Labour General Secretary Peter Watt was in charge when Gordon bottled having an election. Over six pages the Mail on Sunday runs extracts from Peter Watt’s devastating inside account of the madness in the heart of Downing Street:

  • Mr Brown’s Cabinet ally Douglas Alexander said the PM’s inner circle wanted an early Election partly because even they didn’t like him – and they feared the British public would soon form the same view.
  • The day Mr Brown called off the 2007 Election, denying he had ever intended to hold one, Labour chiefs had a fleet of limousines circling Parliament Square ready to take Ministers on the campaign trail, and had 1.5million leaflets ready to be posted. Brown brazenly lied about the planned election to an incredulous press conference.
  • No. 10 is ‘completely dysfunctional’ under Mr Brown, who runs the country ‘by making it up as he goes along’.
  • After witnessing Brown behave bizarrely at a dinner, Watt’s wife told him “he’s bonkers”.

Guido had lunch with a former senior Downing Street adviser, who when Guido asked him directly did he “think Brown was bonkers?” went into a long soliloquy about the different Freudian personality types.  He concluded, in a matter of fact way, that Brown was a narcissistic, manic depressive. There is lots more of this to come out about Brown…

          This shit is just going to keep on coming thick and fast, every day Gordon remains in No. 10.

          Gordon: your psychotic misjudgement and misuse of everything you touch has turned the entire nation into a league of enemies.

          Your untrustworthiness has predictably come full circle: you can no longer trust anyone.

          It will not stop.

          Sleep tight.

            http://order-order.com/2007/11/30/friday-caption-contest-watt-abraham-who/

            LOL!

            those with an equally short memory might have forgotten when this honest unimpeachable source was merely in Guidos own words
            “disgraced Peter Watt, who quit in the row over Labour’s donations by proxy and is under investigation by the police.”

            ot to put it another way

            The important thing is, he has now dealt with the sleaze issue decisively. What is Gordon going to do? After the Abrahams scandal broke Gordon demanded the resignation of Peter Watt. He told the monthly press conference immediately afterwards that undeclared donations were unlawful and unacceptable and that was why Watt had to go.

            if only there was some way to complete this marvellous loss of memory afflicting certain quarters of the press…

            Labour’s General Secretary quits over ‘secret’ £400,000 donations to party
            Labour party general secretary Peter Watt resigned tonight over a controversial series of donations to the party.
            His shock resignation comes after a senior Tory MP said today that criminal charges should be considered if the “gifting” of money by a secretive Labour supporter through friends broke election law.

            http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-496388/Labours-General-Secretary-quits-secret-400-000-donations-party.html

            And he had to quit because..

            It was The Mail on Sunday that broke the story of Peter Watt’s sleaze

          • the public is bonkers thinking dave will be any better says:

            Brown is no more bonkers than the rest of them, what Brown is , is controlled by the NWO, this gives the impression of incompetance.

            until we get the next leader owned and compromisedto the point where he appears incompetant or mad.

            as for those who think dave will be any different check this out -

            The Conservative party hid donations of £40,000 from Zac Goldsmith, his brother Ben and two billionaire brothers in an apparent breach of the law.

            The donations were recorded on official records as coming from Unicorn Administration, an intermediary company which helps run the finances of the super-rich.

            But The Sunday Times has discovered that they in fact came from Zac Goldsmith, his brother Ben, and Ben’s wife Kate Rothschild. Another donation of £14,390 came from the Reuben brothers, property developers and aluminium tycoons who made a fortune in Russia.

            Goldsmith, the Conservative parliamentary candidate for Richmond Park, correctly informed the party that payments of £12,310, channelled through a wealth management firm called Unicorn Administration, were from him.

            why some may argue – and be wrong that this is simply a (potentially corrupt)business deal.

            we must know who these people actually are.

            these people are the nwo.

            these people control the money and as you can see the parties and politicians, including the use of such clubs as the bilderberg group.

            just as osbore and fat ken about that! – yes those in control of our money belong to the bilderbergs -no coincidence!

            also note how these trillionairs all back along with the royals – more treasonous bilderbergers!

            the global warming hoax currently laughed at yet indoctrinated in schools with tax funding.

            why, well for anyone who hasnt been paying attention or heard lord monkton, it is nothing to do with climate and everything to do with consolidating world power into fewer hands and crushing all wealth and freedom from the hands of the people.

            this is why their eussr project is in place – to make you powerless, it may seem rather benign right now, but a quick glance through the history books shows us that as freedom of speech, freedom to asociate and democracy goes, death camps soon follow.

            but they will stay benignish right!

            nah, check out the fact that they want the west to collapse and 90% of the population destroyed.
            people who think mao the mass murderer was a great leader!

            in their own words -

            http://www.svpvril.com/nwo.html

            yes these people are just as deadly as anything we have seen in the past, in fact far more so as while there were indiividual nations there were firewalls of nations to protect the majority from tyranny and an outside source of hope – a global tyranny has no suchn safegaurds and will be more sinister than your worst nightmares.

            now you know why you are monitored `for your own safty`.

            the tyranny network is near complete, once in place, expect hell on earth to decend.

          • the public is bonkers thinking dave will be any better says:

            it is also interesting to note that when the nwo think their man in power is at risk of losing the next election a large proportion of the media – tv being key nowdays tries to discredit him.

            i believe this is to get a larger majority for the next goverment.

            the larger majority is needed to ensure that the bilderberg puppet they put in power and whome they control does not have to deal with a weak goverment which would mean the clueless mps may actually get uppity and start representing their party ideolgy and heaven forbid, their constituants.

            i noticed that the nwo media machine turned their back on gordon some time ago, making way for the new nwo boy dave.

            the key were two things – a change in stance by the bbc and the nwo bought sun.

            how do i know – they shifted thier stance on personality not policy!

            the policy is the same on all key issues, including key issues the public are still not being reprecented by either crew.

            there is no reason to switch out gordon for dave, only on image and to creat the illusion of choice, this is why the media ignore policy other than pro goverment propaganda and go instead for personality.

            the constant cry of `hes mad` etc is irrelevant when it comes to discussing the key issue of policy, in fact claiming the leader is mad is perfect for the nwo as it gives the perception that the reason the country has been destroyed is due to this persons `madness` rather than the truth which is that it is due to the leader following the sinister plot of the nwo.

            the main thing the nwo have to protect is themselfs pulling the strings, the buck must stop with the puppet in `power`.

            though they may eventually crawl out of the woodwork as the projecs are near complete.

            one thing which surprised me is how small and untrusting the key players must be.

            time and time again they put their sons etc into the picture, they put themsels at the front of certain parts.

            i have seen this with the rottenchilds, the goldsniffs, and the royals.

            usually hiding behind the nwo cloak of the global warming hoax and at one stage the banking collapse.

            these peple are becomming so impatient for total power of the whole world that they are now openly whoring themsels in public – interesting!

            the good news is that it makes them and their real agenda easier to identify and who is interlinked in the whole sorded tyranical plot.

          • Allan@Aberdeen says:

            The Rothschilds are in on it, and that is proof enough that Cast Iron Dave is their puppet. As stated above, there is no difference in policy between Labour and Conservative on the things that matter to the Bilderberger’s EU. One thing though – the national debt is being deliberately ramped up by Labour and would have been so by Cameron/Osborne though to a slightly lesser degree. Why, and who then owns the debt?

        Mr Ned says:

        Well part of the problem now is that we don’t know which version of the labour party we will get. There are now two rival factions and both will be running their own rival campaigns.

        Brown will be running the class warfare campaign and Mandy will be running the social aspirational campaign sucking up to the rich and the middle classes.

        Labour are not only utterly deceitful and incompetent, but they are paranoid schizophrenic delusional as well.

        I am glad that the daily mail has run this article by Watts so long before the election. Why? Well these claims have both sides making claims here.

        Those who hate labour are jumping on his claims as proof of Browns incompetence, dithering, cowardice and this is also a way for Watts to clear his name.

        Those few pro-Brown are dissing this as Watts was implicated in the financial irregularities and despite his being cleared by the police, his claims are suspect and should not be believed.

        Well there is enough time for FOI requests to check the details. IF the labour party was in the advance state of being ready to call the election (and all the evidence suggests they were) then there will be documentary evidence. We should be able to find out what was actually booked and paid for.

        According to news reports at the time, bill-boards were booked on stand-by, leaflets had been printed, the letters were ready to be posted.

        I did not know that limo’s were booked and circling ready to take ministers out round the country.

        If his claims are borne out with documentary evidence and first hand witnesses, then we will know how much labour have been lying to us for years.

        From having labour members turn up at motorway services to meet and greet ministers and “pretend” to be “normal” members of the public to outright lying about how big a change it was to bottle out of an imminent and planned election Brown was certain to win.

        Now we also know why it was cancelled. Look at their election checklist:

        Union funding – check
        Billboards rented – check
        election leaflets – check
        election letters – check
        limos – check
        battlebus – check
        election backroom team working 14 hour days – check
        half a million pound overdraft – check
        policies for the manifesto – er….

        From what I can tell, Brown still hasn’t got any original policies two years on. What a fucking sick joke Brown’s labour party is.

          When he ultimately failed (according to Traudl Junge) they at least initially resented him for having misled them, rather than question their own complicity in believing/obeying his madness.

        Otherwise we wait quietly for the GE and get DC in. No there isn’t an alternative. Split the vote and let him in again is not an alternative. Believe me it can get worse, much worse. The time has come for a Mahatma Gandhi – passive but collective resistence.

          For example: When the local stasi are issuing a ticket, joe public gathers to slow clap and gently boo/hiss them. Someone could take their ID No. and pass it around to everyone else and quietly murmour about the traitors in our midst.

          It is time to reject and turnaround this sytematic splitting and weakening of society – the ‘community’ pigeon holing – and stand together. That is why the immigration of radical muslims have been so important, they by their anti-british stance make cohesion almost impossible. Ignore them, indeed treat them the same way as the above mentioned traitors.

          Also important would be to deliver that same treatment (slow clap and booing) to all politicians that have cheated or lied to the electorate.

      Having consulted with my colleagues and based on the information gathered from the Nigerian Chambers Of Commerce And Industry, I have the privilege to request your assistance to transfer the sum of $47,500,000.00 (forty seven million, five hundred thousand United States dollars) into your accounts. The above sum resulted from an over-invoiced contract, executed, commissioned and paid for about five years (5) ago by a foreign contractor. This action was however intentional and since then the fund has been in a suspense account at The Central Bank Of Nigeria Apex Bank.

      We are now ready to transfer the fund overseas and that is where you come in. It is important to inform you that as civil servants, we are forbidden to operate a foreign account; that is why we require your assistance. The total sum will be shared as follows: 70% for us, 25% for you and 5% for local and international expenses incidental to the transfer.

      The transfer is risk free on both sides. I am an accountant with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). If you find this proposal acceptable, we shall require the following documents:

      (a) your banker’s name, telephone, account and fax numbers.

      (b) your private telephone and fax numbers —for confidentiality and easy communication.

      (c) your letter-headed paper stamped and signed.

      Alternatively we will furnish you with the text of what to type into your letter-headed paper, along with a breakdown explaining, comprehensively what we require of you. The business will take us thirty (30) working days to accomplish.

      I trust this will be acceptable proposal and kind gift to your honourables.

      Old Holborn

        Or perhaps Brown is just an overrated dummy, who in moments of clarity is beginning to see the state he (and we) are in.

        No return to boom and bust….saved the world….Obama Beach…. Brown, in his head truly believes he has forged a new Golden Age for Britain, solved Climate Change and is mentoring an inexperienced U.S. President; like Macmillan and JFK.

        In his mind it is our fault we cannot see that. He is enraged that just having wrestled Downing Street from one public school bullshitter he is about to lose it to another public school bullshitter. It`s his, by right, can`t anyone else see that ?

    The widely used manual for diagnosing mental disorders, defines narcissistic personality disorder as:[1]

    A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

    1.has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
    2.is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
    3.believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
    4.requires excessive admiration
    5.has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
    6.is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
    7.lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
    8.is often envious of others or believes others are envious of him or her
    9.shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

So instead, Labour just want to keep their client state happy enough, yet servile enough, to keep they, the commissariat, in power. Why do you think nothing has really been done to alleviate poverty?

    Unless Guido’s informant is a qualified shrink, I would take the diagnosis with a pinch of salt. I understand that people who act like Gordon Brown reportedly acts are a complex amalgam of interrelated mental health problems, encompassing manic depression, narcissism and possibly autism. Hebephrenic Schizophrenia springs to mind, given his erm, laughable performance on You Tube.

    Here’s the description:

    A form of schizophrenia in which affective changes are prominent, delusions and hallucinations fleeting and fragmentary, behaviour irresponsible and unpredictable, and mannerisms common. The mood is shallow and inappropirate and often accompanied by giggling or self-satisfied, self-absorbed smiling, or by a lofty manner, grimaces, mannerisms, pranks, hypochondriacal complaints, and reiterated phrases. Thought is disorganized and speech rambling and incoherent. There is a tendency to remain solitary, and behaviour seems empty of purpose and feeling. This form of schizphrenia usually starts between the ages of 15 and 25 years and tends to have a poor prognosis because of the rapid development of “negative” symptoms, particularly flattening of affect and loss of volition.

    In addition, disturbances of affect and volition, and thought disorder are usually prominent. Hallucinations and delusions may be present but are not usually prominent. Drive and determination are lost and goals abandoned, so that the patient’s behaviour becomes characteristically aimless and empty of purpose. A superficial and manneristic preoccupation with religion, philosophy, and other abstract themes may add to the listener’s difficulty in following the train of thought.

    Bonkers. Absolutely f*****g bonkers!!! But with a plausible air of affable genius to those who don’t really know him. But he can’t seem to actually use common sense, and will not accept that any of his ideas are stupid even if provided with a mountain of evidence.

    I bet Brown also viciously bullies his close colleagues when he’s down and things are not going well. And will bully to get his own way. Everything bad is always the fault of someone else. And he likes to think (and believes that) people think he’s a genius and loves him for this.

      I used to like Iain Rankin (Author) until he publicly supported Labour; since then I have never bought another of his books and never will. The many that I have, I intend to give away.

      Ditto JK Rowling.

      These media luvvies who support Labour because of guilt about their own wealth need to get real, and support a Party that supports and encourages aspiration, instead of punishing it with insults and taxation.

      They will end up every bit as much pariah’s as their lovely labour.

    BBC Bias to Labour its what we do says:

    Will the media pick this up?

    Doubtful if your the state broadcaster the BBC who will now already be in close contact with No 10 to work out how this should be spun against the Tories. Sad and perhaps laughable really but there it is. Lets be completly honest here if this had been a Tory government they would have been all over this like a pack of rabid dogs.

    In the meantime the state Broadcaster has no mention of these latest accusations on its front page or poltics page (at the time of writing this post)but centre FRONT page as soon as you open the site they have this…………..please caresfully note the Stae Broadcasters page was last updated at 05:27 GMT, Sunday, 10 January 2010 so the MoS story was well broken at this point.

    “Tories probe donations ‘cover up’
    The Conservative Party has admitted making mistakes in registering the true source of a number of donations, totalling nearly £40,000.

    The state Broadcasters bais is now just open and blatant and if it was only the State Broadcaster you got your news from then you would know only of the Tories being accused of something that was an admin error but spun as worse as possible and would have not a clue that one of the most senior people in the Labour party agrees the OPM is a disaster. Does anyone really believe that the timing is accidental in a similar way to the Steve Hilton’s story which happened yonks ago but surfaced only at the point of maximum embarrassment for the government.

    Give Sky there due they have this latest story front and centre…
    “Gordon Brown’s premiership is under attack after an ex-Labour Party chief complained Number 10 was reduced to a “shambles”.

    When Labour are turfed out of office as they will be there now must also be a full investigation in the state Broadcaster, its links with the state government and it should then be completly broken up and lose its public licence status forthwith. If they want to pedal disinformation then don’t ask me to pay for it let the people who want this to subscribe.

The email, concerning a planning appeal by a gipsy, included the phrase: ‘It’s the ‘do as you likey’ attitude that I am against.’ Council staff believed the email was offensive because ‘likey’ rhymes with the derogatory term ‘pikey’.

    The businessman, who has asked not to be named, was also fingerprinted in the police investigation estimated to have cost taxpayers up to £12,000.
    He said two uniformed officers came to his house on a Sunday afternoon and said he would be handcuffed if he did not accompany them to the police station. His computer and other internet equipment were also seized.

    I quote:

    “Then, with the leasing out of sites for nine giant offshore wind farms, there was Gordon Brown’s equally timely relaunch of his “£100 billion green revolution”, designed, in compliance with EU targets, to meet a third of Britain’s electricity needs. This coincided with windless days when Ofgem was showing that our 2,300 existing turbines were providing barely 1/200th of our power. In fact, 80 per cent of the electricity we used last week came either from coal-fired power stations, six of which are before long to be closed under an EU anti-pollution directive, or from gas, of which we only have less than two weeks’ stored supply and 80 per cent of which we will soon have to import on a fast-rising world market.

    In every way, Mr Brown’s boast was fantasy. There is no way we could hope to install two giant £4 million offshore turbines every day between now and 2020, let alone that they could meet more than a fraction of our electricity needs. But the cost of whatever does get built will be paid by all of us through our already soaring electricity bills – which a new study last week predicted will quadruple during this decade to an average of £5,000 a year. This would drive well over half the households in Britain into “fuel poverty”, defined as those forced to spend more than 10 per cent of their income on energy. “

    The problem is what can we do? The British voting public is neutered, castrated, powerless and frightened to do anything. If we march in the streets he will find an excuse to suspend elections and impose even tighter controls over us. Oh yes he will.

    There is only one way, we wait quietly for the GE and get DC in. No there isn’t an alternative. Split the vote and let him in again is not an alternative. Believe me it can get worse, much worse. A bit of snow and a few bags of rubbish left over in the street is nothing. Travel a few miles to your nearest ghetto sink estate and have a wander about after dark. If you dare. This will be the norm in future. We may have been great once but now we are at the bottom of the smelly pit and still going down.

    If he wins again try and leave the country. Even if he lets you leave with your cash it will be worthless abroad!

    Is this true?

    From political betting.com

    Blogger Iain Dale, whose company is publishing the book, came on the PB thread overnight to give some more background and to deny that that timing had been linked to the Hewitt-Hoon move.

    “Peter first approached me to publish the book back in October. It wasn’t even finished then. Indeed, we got the final manuscript in mid December. Yes, I did decide the timetable after that but only to the extent that we wanted to publish it as soon as possible in the new year.

    Frankly, the timing of this is irrelevant. It would have been damaging at any time. Clearly we had no idea that it would almost coincide with a coup attempt. Believe me, keeping my mouth shut about it over the last few days has been a severe test!”

    pointless observations says:

    There really isn’t anything new in this book, we have known all this for a long time.

    It is beyond a joke Brown must go now and an election must be called. No other options.

    With regard to helicopters in Afghanistan, anyone who has studied the Soviet experience will know that they were winning in 86, 87 by using MI – 24 attack helicopters to ferry spetznas troops around and attack Mujaheddin positions. The Mujaheddin only began to get the upper hand when the Americans provided them with Stingers. In the 1990s, the Americans re-bought the Stingers and thus, at the current time the Taliban likely have less than 20 Stinger missiles. Helicopters give the soldiers the ability to avoid IEDs and the mobility to kill enemies wherever they are sighted. They also give the ability to deliver supplies to field bases, therby not relying on ground supply lines. However, due to the lack of funding and total tactical and strategic incompetence, along with the privatization of many army functions to private mercenaries, what is currently occurring is that supplies are brought in by truck from Pakistan or Central Asia and the contracts are given to the local Afghan trucking firms. As the Taliban control most of the road network, the Afghan firms have to pay bribes for protection (sometimes including having Taliban fighters riding in the trucks). The firms pay the Taliban protection money and then up their prices to the Army. So, in effect, your taxes are funding the Taliban (let’s not even get onto the heroin situation or the customs duties..)

    Afghanistan is a complete fuck up and a new strategy must be found as soon as possible, one that is holistic rather than a vague aspiration: “democracy”, “terrorism”, “woman’s rights”. In my opinion, a comprehensive new strategy must be implemented. (And no, that doesn’t require a fucking international conference) which recognizes the situation in and strategic implications of Afghanistan. This means looking at a map and reading the history of the place. There are several wars being fought there, including: a national liberation struggle, a national civil war, a proxy for the India – Pakistan conflict, a proxy for the American – Iranian conflict, the defense of the former Soviet Republics from extremist Islam, a Pakistani civil war and a mercenary war. Our government does not seem aware of the situation, instead content to see it as a one – dimensional problem.

    With regard to stasi councils, I am not in the least bit surprised. They are scum and should be treated like scum. Our so called “public servants” are out of control and believe we serve them. This needs to be stopped or there will be consequences. The state is out of control and this is fanning the seeds of discontent.

    Looking at civil unrest, extremism and revolution in history, economic collapse combined with over powerful and unrepresentative government is a recipe for an uprising. No doubt the political police will try to crush any protest (whilst the political media harps on about twitter and Iran). However, the criminals who persecute individuals will lose eventually (when that occurs, they will convert to the winning side, serpents that they are).

    Finally, knowing that the soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq were not provided with good body armor and lack helicopters, could someone please explain why every policeperson (aka. gestapo), including so called community support officers, wear top class body amour and have several helicopters at their disposal? The helicopters will cost millions each, being as they are, filled with thermal cameras, night vision cameras, secure communications equipment and so on. I also note that two black Apache helicopters live somewhere just outside London (as they fly over the city from time to time). As we have 4 in total, why are two of them marked up in very sinister colors and not in Desert chiq and in Helmand?

      Other, smaller (dark painted) military helicopters also had a preoccupation with overflying the City in the early morning – we concluded that the RAF had training routes similar to those learned by trainee black cab drivers learning The Knowledge.

      Where are the Nukes that we need? Yes they cost a fortune, yes they take ages to de-commission, but they loosen our reliance on nutters for our energy supplies, and more importantly, if we all switch to electric cars in the future, they will provide the power to charge them. But fuckwit and his crew want piffling windmills…which are only viable at the moment because of the vast subsidy they are given….plus they don’t work when it’s not windy….we need RELIABLE energy, which is there 24/7….

        Why is the UK spending billions of pounds on wind power, when thermal solar power stations could be built in Spain/Morocco & the power transmitted north? There would be transmission losses but the sun shines in the desert practically every day, unlike the wind level over the North Sea.

      I’m voting for Labour because….
      - They are the party for the many and not just a privileged few;
      - Stand up for Britain and don’t talk it down;
      - Believe in opportunity for all;
      - Will cut the deficit in a fair way and go for growth;
      - Maintain investment in key frontline services;
      - A National Minimum Wage, helping the very poorest;
      - SureStart Centres, to help our very youngest;
      - Winter Fuel Allowance, keeping our oldest warm;
      - £50 billion extra into the NHS, helping keep our country well;
      - Doubled the education budget, giving our children the best start in life;
      - 14,000 more police officers, keeping us all safe;
      - Free Entry to Museums and Art Galleries, opening it up to the many, not just the few;
      - Reduced UK carbon emissions by over 15%, protecting our environment;
      - Banned stag hunting, hare coursing and fox hunting;
      - We remember what the Tories did to our country the last time they were in charge;
      - Introduced the Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA)
      With a track record like this, don’t let the Tories reverse it all – Vote Labour

    Move along. Nothing to see here.
    Our glorious leader is busy saving the planet.
    While Gordon is saving the planet, we’re not going to report on the fact that everyone who’s ever worked with him says that he’s a negligent lying raving lunatic who’s completely divorced from all aspects of reality, because even if that were true, it’s not important. The most important thing of all is not whether the country is being led by a mad idiot, instead the most important thing is that we don’t let those nasty tories in.
    Given a choice of having Thatcher in power, or Pol Pot, we’d choose Pol Pot thanks very much. Or, if we can’t get Pol Pot, then we’ll go for Stalin. If we can’t get Stalin then we’ll have Brown.
    Either way, having a left-wing party in power is infinitely more important than what happens to the people of this country or the economy.
    Better to have a left-wing party in power and a bankrupt economy than have the tories in power and a mended/growing economy.
